Quaint hotel, but kind of dated on the inside. Room was comfortable. Located right next to the ocean front, the views are very nice. I tried out the Onsen on the rooftop and it was enjoyable.

Ok if you need to stay in Beppu

The room was cute and spacious. The onsen was lovely and honestly rooftop was mesmerizing. The staff were all warm and friendly and great. The location was very convenient as well. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and the bed was extraordinarily firm - so the noise and the discomfort were definitely issues for us. We had very loud neighbors across the hall. They did quiet down after 10, but were back up super early.

Nice Location near the two malls and the ocean. The hotel staff tries hard to keep the aging, cool hotel going. Enjoyed the Onsen on the roof three days in a row and chilled in the Relax Room.

This hotel is in a very convenient area near a bus stop. Good shopping and restaurants are nearby. The staff members are very friendly. Breakfast, Onsen on the roof, and the cool Relax Room are all great. We slept well here and will definitely come again.

Amazing customer service!

This is a great place to stay! The service here is amazing and they are very customer oriented. I accidentally left an AirPod and they found it and shipped it back with a nice hand written note. They also have a great lounge on the 10th floor with a nice view and a record player.

Not a busy time of the season so very quite overall.
Top floor sauna was great and rest area on 10th floor also was very cute.
you can listen to music from old style turn table but music was \"Frozen\" which was surprised.
Famous Toriten restaurant was right in front of back door .
And great view from almost all of higher floors.

Very good service and good size room

The Aile service was very good. The staff were friendly and wold help with any problems. The room was of a good size and very clean. The hotel is a bit dated, but this is like a lot of hotels and so should not be a supprise. Breakfast was a good compromise between Japanese and Western breakfasts. Location is right by harbour. It is close to the main road which can create a bit of noise if the windows open, but did not cause us any issued. Very pleasant Hotel.

Very good hotel

The hotel is in a great location and the staff was very friendly. My room had a great view of the marina and park. Hotel has 2 onsens so that’s a plus if you’re into that. My room was very spacious, but there was a weezing sound from the air conditioning that occurred 2 of the 3 nights I was there. Very good proximity to the train station and shopping areas.

Spacious, well-lighted room with a view. Furnishings (especially carpeting) are a wee bit worn but seem clean. Rooftop onsen is lovely. Location is walking distance from both the main train station and the Fukuoka airport bus, as well as a lot of restaurants.

We were three in a large room...especially for Japan.
Room had good A/C, mini fridge, steady hot water, continuous WIFI, firm beds, & hot pot.
Thermal baths are on upper levels, we recommend 'outside option'.
Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, but no a la carte. Immediate area food choices do not open until 9am.
Staff pleasant. Our corner room was quiet.
Beppu is walkable and there is a bus stop across the street from the hotel.
Walking to/from hotel requires using and underground passage with stairs.
There is a large mall two blocks away with a supermarket as well as a department store just across the street.
Hotel is one block from shore but there is no access because of a private mooring and a construction site.

There is a big shopping mall and department around..it’s quite convenient. Besides, it’s not far to walk from the beppo station. Strongly recommend you come here for a hot-spring stay.

ok hotel, but the WORST bed!!! it seriously gave me bruises!! the coils poke right through the \"padding\".
wifi trouble was annoying. staff had much difficulty understanding when i tried to ask them to hit the reset button- they kept showing me their iphones were working...

nice roof top public onsen, separated by gender. the indoor onsens smelled like mold though and we avoided those.

Surprisingly Un-Japanese Service and Facilities

Caveat: I have traveled and lived in Japan and know the language in both writing and speech.

When checking in, we had a terrible experience. Staff were extremely unhelpful in getting us oriented with the area or with setting up internet, which apparently does not work with certain models of Macs! There is no wifi in rooms, needless to say, so bring your LAN cable - which we did but still couldn't connect!

Asking about restaurants or attractions in the area, staff were much more likely to dismiss us in a very non-Japanese manner than to actually try to point out anything on the map they simply handed to us. Furthermore, for those who cannot read Japanese, this is worsened by the fact the only maps available were in Japanese (fine for us but could not imagine any non-natives figuring things out without substantial frustration).

Facilities in the room were, by Japanese standards, pretty bad. It was (at least) mostly clean, but the bathroom was not stocked with shampoo and conditioner, the hair dryer wasn't particularly working, and the shower was absolutely painful like scalding or frigid needles that we could never adjust to the right pressure or temperature.

To top it off, our clock was over an hour and a half behind (and getting worse over the course of the day), causing us to miss the checkout time which we were rather rudely called to get us out.

The hotel facilities were perfectly adequate and the price was reasonable. The location and parking availability were great. A couple of disappointments for us were, to be fair, features common to a number of hotels we visited in Japan. As elsewhere, the spa facilities were segregated - we'd have preferred to enjoy the rooftop onsen together. Also the free wifi was only available in the reception area.

Needs more AC.

The only reason I gave to marks with a score was for lack of a great AC, but then again this is Japan. They all have them but it is almost forbidden to turn them on anywhere you go. Other than that it was a wonderful place easy to find and close to lots of cool stuff in Beppu.

Lobby wi-fi was broken and they couldn't get it working during our 2 night stay. We were able to get internet in our room using a network cable though. The room was probably twice as big as we were used to having traveled across Japan. The wife also enjoyed the on-sen on the roof.

Decent Hotel - Good location

This hotel is nice - room was a good size, and well appointed. The hotel is located close to the water, about 5 blocks from the train station. Also right on a bus line (bus #24) which is a plus, and near a very large shopping complex (the You Me building - visible from the front of the hotel) and has a nice open air bath on the upper floor. Beware, however, that the staff speaks very little English, so wont be able to help with a problem or request. our biggest problem was that housekeepers turned off the air conditioning when they made up the room (which really annoys me - if I wanted to come back to a hot room after a full day of sweaty sightseeing, I would turn it off myself), and the controls are written only in Japanese. Calling the front deck for help resulted in no help. oh well. TV control also in Japanese, but not a bid problem since there are only Japanese channels. Overall a decent hotel for the money.

Convenient location, happy with stay

The room was quite large and in very decent shape. A major highlight of the hotel for me was the very nice indoor bath on the top floor and *excellent* outdoor bath on the roof. Location is great, the bus from the airport drops you steps from the hotel (literally, just look up and you will see it, I started walking and passed it within 30 seconds), tourist information center a couple blocks away. Plenty of restaurants nearby (I had the best sushi in my life but also some 'western' style food if you're not feeling adventurous). There is a large supermarket nearby and a fridge in the room if you don't feel like constantly eating out. Only downside is that the free wifi is only in the lobby, offering it on all floors would've made it much easier for me to plan my days and coordinate with friends.

設備には経年変化を感じましたが、スタッフの対応も良く、部屋はソファとテーブルがあり広い。
建物は縦型コンパクトだが温泉の展望風呂とその上に露天風呂があり、ゆったり出来ます。
朝食はビッフェ形式ではないでので好き嫌いの多い人は困るかもしれませんが、美味かったです。
各所に手作り感があり、それが心を和ませてくれました。
車で来ても40台駐車（玄関前と目の前に小道挟んでの大駐車場にて）できるのでホテルの規模からも十分だと思います。別府駅からも近く電車旅にも良いと思います。
窓からは眼下に公園とヨットハーバー、遠くに高崎山が見えます。

가격 대비 매우 좋은 호텔임에 분명합니다. 특히 일본에서 누릴 기 힘튼 객실의 크기는 정말 좋습니다. 종업원들의 친절함도 매우 좋았습니다.
그러나 아침 식사는 정말 지금까지의 일본 여행 중 최악이었습니다. 아침에 딱딱한 빵에 버거와 다른 모든 것들도 거의 조리를 하지 않고 마트에서 구입한 물품들을 이리저리 사용한 듯한 식사였습니다.
이 호텔은 아침 식사를 선택하지 않는다면 최고의 호텔로 추천할 만 합니다. 더욱이 대욕탕과 노천탕은 정말 좋았습니다. 혹시 이 호텔에 관심있으신 분은 아침 식사만 선택하지 않으시면 정말 만족하실 겁니다.

温泉は広く、店員の皆さんのご対応が親切です。

部屋や設備には年数を感じますが、清掃は行き届いて綺麗で、過ごしやすいと思います。なにより店員さんがみなさんとても親切です。温泉は大浴場と露天風呂がありますが、いずれも広く快適でした。特に露天風呂は朝早くに入ると、遠くの山がいい風情で眺められます。

立地が良くコスパ良し！

別府駅近くで大浴場があり口コミも良かったのでこちらのホテルに決めましたが、想像以上に便利な立地でした。
バス停やコンビニ、トキハデパート（お土産、ドラッグストアや無印良品、スタバ等）も近く、旅行中のちょっとした買い物が近くで済みます。
別府の街はバス移動が多かったので、バス停が近いには本当日助かりました。空港からのバスも止まります。

ホテルは古いですがきちんと清掃もされています。ツインのスタンダードなお部屋でしたが、二人がけの小さいソファーとテーブルもあり、部屋飲み等も出来る広さです。
フロントスタッフの皆さんの対応も良かったです。館内のイタル所にスタッフさん手作り？手書きのイラストや注意書き等があり、ほっこりします。

一点、お部屋の壁やドアは少し薄いのか、廊下の音や足音、話し声がきこえるかなぁ…という感じなので、音に神経質で眠れない、という方はご注意を。

駐車場が空いてるか心配でしたが、ホテル敷地内だけでなくホテルの前に２０台以上停められる専用駐車場があり、土曜日の夕方6時半ごろチェックインしましたが、余裕で停められました。
夜のフロントはアジア系の外人さんでしたが日本語はまるで問題なしで、とても親切で近隣の美味しいお店などを教えていただきました。
古めの感じは否めませんが、いたる所に気の利いたイラストとメッセージがあったり、アメニティーにも心遣いがあって良かったです。
繁華街に近い、お部屋が広い、この価格で温泉露天風呂があるのはなかなかいいです。
お部屋のリクエストを入れておいたのですが、考慮していただけたようで嬉しいです。

とても素敵なホテルです。

　別府泊の際は良く利用させて頂いています。
繁華街も近く、とても利便性が高いです。
　お風呂もとても良いです。海側に別なホテルが出来たために少し展望が悪くなりましたが、ヨットハーバー越しに見える別府湾も良いものです。
　特に朝食は、スープとマフィン、サラダが主となるものですが、連泊するとスープとマフィンの中身が変わります。とても美味しく家族も朝食が楽しみでエールをリクエストしているようです。

おもてなしをとても感じるホテルでした。手書きの絵などホッとする感じがしました。フロントの方も感じが良く色々訪ねても笑顔で対応下さいました。ホテル自体は古いですが問題なく過ごせました。

海側の部屋ないです。
エントランスがわかりづらいのと、ちょっとラブホっぽいデザインになっているのが気になりました。
朝食は素晴らしいです。

加湿器を部屋からお願いしたら、フロントまで取りに来てと言われ驚きました。。。。

地點方便，房間大，價錢平，免費泊車，打開個喼兩面平房都唔阻路，但房間拖鞋不是用完即棄的白毛布拖鞋，是傳統的啡膠拖鞋，感覺唔衛生，冷氣只有跟隨中央設定暖氣，問服務員可唔可以轉，服務員話唔可以，叫我可以開窗，如怕熱怕焗的話，就要考慮呢樣。

저는 가성비 최고라고 평하고 싶습니당

숙소가 아주 깔끔합니다. 일본호텔치고 방이 커서 캐리어를 활짝활짝 펴놓고 편하게 썼습니다.
그리고 옥상에 있는 노천온천이 아주 좋았어요! 시설을 새로 한듯
차가운 공기를 쐬면서 머리만 내놓고 있으니 너무 좋더라구요. 해수온천인것같은데 물이 아주 좋습니다!!

실내온천도 있는데 규모는 작지만 샴푸,린스,바디워시가 있고 캐비넷도 잘썼어요~
식사는 일부러 안했는데, 바로 옆에 텐동맛집이 있어서 조식으로 먹을 수 있어서 좋았어요~

벳푸역하고 그렇게 멀지도 않고, 백화점 옆이고,
담날 유후인 가는 우리 커플은 버스타기도 너무 좋았어요 (바로 옆임)

만족합니다.

일단 위치가 매우 좋습니다.
버스로 유후인, 지옥옥천, 공항 모두 편리하게 이동할 수 있습니다. 그리고 벳푸역도 도보로 10분 정도면 갈 수 있습니다.
게다가 토요츠네 본점이 바로 앞에 있어서 식사도 편하고 스타벅스, 유메타운, 모스버거 등도 다 가까운 거리에 있습니다.
다만, 아침 조식은 가족들 사이에도 조금 호불호가 나뉘었습니다.
직원들은 영어도 전반적으로 다들 하셔서 의사소통에는 문제가 없었습니다.

地點位置佳，風呂溫泉靚

酒店鄰近別府巴士交通中心隔離，對面有大型商場和行人街不愁沒野食，有風呂溫泉只是看不到正面海景但都不錯，房間大但床墊有點軟，行10分鐘到JR別府站，價值算平可再來玩住多次。

バス停や駅から近くとても立地がよかった。部屋は広くのんびりできるお部屋でした。ホテルの方はとても気さくでオススメの観光地を教えていただけたのはとても良かったです☺︎
ホテルの温泉は少し小さく、露天風呂と温泉が繋がっていなかったのが少し残念でした。しかし温泉は繁忙期でなかったためか、入っている人も少なく、思う存分ゆっくりとはいることができました！
