Room filled with smoke smell and they wouldn't let us change the room :( A bit too small.
Advantages are that the hotel is just right in front of the station.
The staffs are available at all times. You can also leave your luggage at the hotel after checking out.
You can consider staying here if it's just a short period.

Old, but clean and near train station & bus stop

The hotel is in front of the train station with a lot of restaurants/shops.
It is old, but the room is big and clean. Necessary amenities and equipments are provided. Guests can use onsen at other sister hotels nearby. Staff are friendly.

正直、清潔さを求めるならお勧めできません。ユニットバスのトイレも狭いしトイレシャワーはありません。ですが、とにかく別府駅前の宿泊で値段を抑えたいなら、良物件です。
はやしの屋上風呂や提携ホテルの風呂、連泊しても入浴には飽きません。

早めに荷物を預けることもできず(フロント不在）チェックインしたら隣の部屋から犬の吠える声が
フロントに確認したところペット可のホテルで隣の部屋に犬がいるとのこと
知らなかったので驚きました

蛇口からお湯が出ずわからなくて困っていたら先に入浴されていた方が一箇所しか出ませんよと教えてくださいました

リーズナブルで便利な立地の場所に泊まれて、よかったです。駐車場もホテルの下にとめられて、出庫もできて、助かりました。
お風呂のシャワーが、お湯がでなくて困りました。やり方をお尋ねしたのですが、少し分かりにくかったので、前もって説明や表示などして頂けると嬉しいです。
小さい子供がいるので、畳の和室は快適で、お部屋も清潔、においも気にならず、安心して過ごせました。

立地や価格は非常に良かったが、部屋の中の壁紙やバスルームなどの設備は全体的に古く、汚れが目立っていた。

3歳の子供と泊まりました。畳の部屋はとても助かりましたが、窓があけられるので安全ではありませんでした。帰宅時におなじようなビジネスホテルから4歳児が落ちて亡くなったとニュースがあり他人事に思えませんでした。エレベーターが閉じるのも早く怪我に繋がりそうでした

格安で泊まることはできるが人は選ぶ。
値段が安ければ、他はどうでもいいという人にはオススメ。

部屋に入ってすぐ、カビ臭い臭いがしたので窓を開けて換気したが臭いは取れなかったので、マスクを付けて寝ました。
ユニットバスもカビだらけででけるだけ使わないようにした。
シーツはキレイだったので必要最低限の品質は保証されていると思う。

2泊3日での旅行で利用しました。

施設内は昭和感を醸し出し、部屋の中は匂いが気になったり、壁が少し剥がれ落ちてたり、トイレや浴槽はカビが凄くてあまり良いとは思えませんでした。

屋上の温泉は窓越しでしたが景色は良かったです。
残念な点はシャワーを浴びる時に給湯器を調整しないといけないのが大変面倒でした。

宿泊を安く済ませたいならここをおすすめします。
最高な旅行を楽しみたいなら他のホテルや旅館をオススメします。

格安ホテルとの事を聞いてましたので楽しみに宿泊しました。老朽化が否めませんが昔ながらのホテル。私はベットとシャワー・トイレが有れば良いので快適に二泊させて頂きました。先ず部屋入り口の小ささに笑ってしまいました。ユニットバスも小さめ、部屋自体がコンパクトな作り。バスタブ・洗面所にカビなどが有りましたが気にしなければ全然大丈夫です。冷蔵庫・ドライヤー無し。エアコン有り。駅前でこのお値段ならリピありです♪フロントのおじさま達も感じ良かったです(^^)又使用させて貰います

大浴場の泉質が優しくとても入りやすいのが良い。あと系列ホテル2軒の大浴場も入れ、お得感はかなりありますよ。部屋のユニットバスはさすがにくたびれてますが、お風呂は大浴場で対応出来るので、特に問題なし。客室のドアの立て付けが悪く、少し蚊が侵入するのが欠点かな。だから星4です

建物は古いけど立地は駅前で周辺は買い物や飲食店も多く便利です。また最高階にある温泉よりも新しいすぐそばのチェーンホテルの温泉も利用できます。朝食も大変美味しかったです。最後に駐車場も無料ですので至れり尽せりなので今回はリピート利用でした。

観光のため一人で宿泊しましたが、清潔なベッドでゆっくり休めれば良いとこのホテルを選びました。先月の地震で展望大浴場が使えなくなったとの張り紙でしたが予め口コミで系列ホテルの温泉浴場が使える事を知っていたので新しく立派な温泉に入るつもりでしたので問題有りませんでした。2回も入って極楽気分でした。ただ如何せん設備が旧式でメンテが悪く部屋の鍵や水栓に苦労しました。また浴槽にはシミの様な汚れがあり気になる人はいると思います。立地は別府駅前の便利な所です。

フロントの対応が親切でした。駐車場も駅前にもかかわらず無料でした。ホテルの温泉はシャワーのお湯がでませんでしたが、グループホテルの温泉へ歩いて入りに行けるのでよかったです。客室は、ドアの建付け問題や部屋の窓が開かないなど建物の古さは否めませんが、掃除は行き届いていて普通に宿泊できました。ただ、最初客室に入った時にベッドサイドに『ゴキジェット』が置いてあったので「出るのか！？」とひるみました。精神的にそれだけが不安でした。結果、出なくてよかったです。

サービスが良いんだか悪いんだか・・・

ロードバイクでのサイクリング中に宿泊しました。ロードバイクをスタッフの目の届く場所に預かって頂けたのは非常にありがたかったです。
しかし、このホテル宛に着替え等が入った荷物を送っても良いか事前に確認し、往復宅急便で送ったのですが、復路に関しては荷物を預かってホテルから送り返すことは出来ないと言われました。その為、荷物をコンビニから自宅へ送ることになり、余計な出費が増えてしまいました。復路に関して対応しているか確認すべきでしたが、この対応は残念だと感じました。

内装等については非常にボロいです。
建物自体が老朽化が進んでいるように感じます。
部屋の風呂は塗装が剝がれているなどしていて、入る気になりませんし、そもそもお湯が出るまでに20分かかるという注意書きがされています。
トイレは水流が弱いのかまともに流れてくれません。
大浴場は温泉のため気持ちよかったです。ただし、洗い場が2つしかありません。
脱衣所に置いてあるフロントへ連絡するための電話は黒電話です。
