Very basic but in the perfect location for a short stay as 5 minutes walk to both the train and bus station. The beds were very firm and the pillows felt like they had rocks in them! Bedding was really good quality and clean. Towels were the smallest I’ve seen (like baby/children size). Reception kindly rang an onsen to make our private reservation. In summary, clean but very basic. Suited our needs for a short stay but couldn’t have managed another night.

The staff spoke excellent English which made check in and asking for help easy. The hotel is located right by the train station and there is ample car parking if you are renting a car. Its a great place to stay, nothing fancy, has everything you need. I was here for 4 nights and it was perfect. If I could stay longer then I would go on some day trips to Oita and visit other famous shrines along the coast. Would stay again. Breakfast is very Japanese, small but healthy. There are plenty of options nearby, especially around Beppu Station which is 2min walk away or walk for another 10min for more choices.

Hotel is quite new and walkable from Beppu JR. It's modern, ecofriendly and have all amenities that one needs for a short stay. Staff is very polite and can speak very good English. Hotel staff is also willing to advise about things to do in Beppu and how to explore Beppu efficiently if you are not driving.
Surprisingly breakfast was also quite good. Operated by couple of Japanese lady chefs it has good options for kids and adults.

The staffs at the hotel were excellent with their service-minded. I love the hotel since I stepped in because of the services and greeting I received. I was trying to book the dinner course and the hotel staffs were really helpful beyond the expectation. There was a coffee machine and refreshing water in the common area. I requested for a buck of ice and the staff at that time was too nice to provide me back even at late night. Everything was perfect with the service of the hotel staff. They did provide great clear umbrellas when it was raining. This was so cool because as traveler, I did not prepare for that and the umbrella was great to be in the photos! :)

Staffs at the hotel speak good English and very helpful towards any queries you have. It took me less than 5 mins to walk from Beppu station. There are supermarket next to the station, super convenient to stock up things for snacks and supper! Room is a bit small but the place is very clean. The only drawback are there is no onsen facility plus a bit of noise from the train track next to it. Overall, I will still give 4 stars to it :)

We stayed in Beppu for one night because we were going to Harmonyland the next day.
The hotel is located a block away from the train station. It is well maintained, clean, and the staff is incredibly professional and helpful. Check-in was very fast and they went above and beyond (especially at 10:00 PM) - they offered us a coupon for Harmonyland and called the local taxi company to get estimates on costs to Harmonyland from the hotel and from Harmonyland to the Oita airport. There is also coffee, tea, and cold water available in the lobby.
The room itself is small but about right for Japanese standards but has a very comfortable bed and has wonderful details from the fabric and room freshener to the shoe horn on the full length mirror. There is pretty decent WiFi and they also have a free Handy during our stay - a cell phone with unlimited internet use and international calls. It was, indeed, very handy : )

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location is very good as it it close to the train station. The staff are also friendly and somewhat helpful. The biggest issue was the paper thin walls. We had noisy neighbours on both sides both nights. We could hear every word they were saying clearly and this kept us awake all night. The twin bed was also the smallest bed we had while travelling in Japan.
