Breakfast - a choice of western buffet (with some local offerings) or a set meal at the restaurant within the hotel. Advice is to try the western breakfast once and just enjoy the set meal breakfast. It is simply fantastic, made from their own local produce and catch.

Hotel's own indoor onsen can rival those of the public commercial ones (that has massage and recreation rooms). But the indoor onsen is free for hotel guests. Manga selection is of the model popular titles (even if in Japanese languages only). Of course, massage chairs require coin payments, not unlike the public commercial ones. These amenities are something to be enjoyed every evening after a long day of tour or activities (the indoor onsen closes at midnight! Awesome!).

We stayed two nights but found that there were a lot of tour groups/ busses there so it got a little crowded on the 3rd floor onsen floor and elevators took some time. Older facility but staff are great and attentive. Parking next door is very convenient as well

Property decor was a little 70s retro, which was fun for us. That said, the property was clean. We got the half board package which included buffet dinner and lunch. Both had a wide selection of food and were good. Our room had great views of both mountain and sea. In the morning, we saw steam from the onsen in the mountain. Staff were friendly.

The Kamenoi Hotel in Beppu is convenient, and inexpensive, but it has a few big problems. One of the elevators did not work, and this caused constant congestion and long waits for the remaining two elevators. In fact, along with a lot of the guests, I began using a service elevator, which worked much better. (Too bad for the guests who did not know about it.) And I must say, this hotel is quite filthy and odiferous. Though the staff were nice, and the breakfast buffet fairly good, this is not a hotel I can recommend at this time.

Stayed two nights. Quick, easy check-in at 3:00 p.m. with a friendly staff member. Was able to park my rental car in the garage next to the hotel. Parking was free (have your parking ticket validated by a front-desk staff member). I didn't eat in the hotel restaurants, so I cannot comment on the quality of the food or the service. From the hotel, one can easily walk to the city center; there are quite a few restaurants just east of Beppu Station. Large onsen (with sauna) on the third floor. The hotel is dated and needs a good cleaning (or renovation). But overall, I had a good stay. Thank you!

Our stay at Kamenoi Hotel Beppu was wonderful. The room was spacious and conveniently located near Beppu Station and bus stops, as well as a Lawsons right across the street. The onsite onsen was great as well. Very large with steam bath and open air options.

一つだけ悪い点を言えば、エレベータが3台しかなかったので、夕食の時間にお客さんが集中してしまうので、そこを余裕もって移動出来れば問題ないと思います。それと同じように、チェックアウトの時にギリギリで行くとエレベータの待ち時間があると思います。
それ以外では、とっても素晴らしいホテルでした。
また利用する機会があればリピートしたいです。

エレベーターが3機あって機能全くなってない
11階から下方向のエレベーターに乗って一階を目指したのになぜか3階でいきなり17階まで上がり
誰もいなくまた3階で止まり、2人が乗り込んだら15階まで上がりやっとで目指す一階に10分近くはエレベーター内に乗ってた感じてました
3機もあるなら速度調整等のメンテナンスをするべき

到着後すぐに歯磨きをしようと、洗面所に伏せて置かれていた白いコップを使おうとしたところ、コップの縁がトレーに張りついていました。
不審に思って確認すると、コップの内側に黒い汁のような汚れがあり、それが縁を伝ってトレーに付着し、張りついていたようです。
この時点で清掃や備品交換がきちんと行われていないのではないかと感じ、その後は部屋中の備品すべてに不信感を抱き、到着直後からとても不快な気持ちになりました。

また、部屋の照明が全体的に暗く感じました。電球の一つが点灯していなかったため、仕様なのか故障なのか分かりませんが、いずれにしても室内が暗い印象でした。

さらに、ベッド周りにコンセントがなく不便でした。充電しながら就寝し、目覚ましとして使用したいため、ベッド付近にコンセントがあると助かります。

大浴場については、利用者が非常に多く混雑していました。GW期間中のためかもしれませんが、入浴後に化粧水をつけたり髪を整えるスペースもなく、ドライヤーも順番待ちが長く、使用できませんでした。そのため、髪が濡れたまま部屋に戻ることになりました。

朝食ビュッフェについては、6時40分開始とのことだったため、6時30分頃に会場へ向かいましたが、すでに20組以上が並んでいる状況でした。
料理の種類は豊富で、味も悪くなく、ゆっくり選んで食事ができれば十分満足できる内容だと感じました。
しかし、実際には利用者が多く、料理をゆっくり選ぶ余裕がなく、落ち着いて食事を楽しめる環境ではありませんでした。
朝食はゆっくりと落ち着いて取りたいと考えているため、この点は残念に感じました。

なお、朝食はビュッフェのほかに和食御膳も選択できるようでしたので、混雑が苦手な方は和食御膳を選ぶのも一つの方法かと思います。

一方で、お土産売り場のスタッフの方の対応はとても丁寧でした。購入した煎餅を丁寧に梱包していただき、その点は好印象でした。

また、部屋の冷蔵庫についても、故障なのか仕様なのか分かりませんが、ほとんど冷えていませんでした。前日に入れておいたプリンが、翌朝でも常温のように感じられる状態でした。

貴ホテルは規模も大きく知名度も高いと思いますが、今回の滞在を踏まえると、再度利用したいとは思えませんでした。

早餐吃歐式自助餐種類多樣化，旁邊有自己的停車場方便停車。小孩跌倒擦傷有迅速幫忙處理，只是沒有使用食鹽水，用洗手間的清水，我想只是認知的不同，勉強可以接受。有大浴場可以泡湯很舒服。離車站5-8八分鐘，拖著行李也不遠。只要有告知，清潔人員都會來打掃。整體來說很滿意。

客数多く、１７階なのにエレベーターが3基しかなく、満員だったり、利用出来るまでに時間がかかった。
立体駐車場利用したがエレベーターが２階しかなく、又従業員通路・エレベーター利用で荷物が積まれている通路を荷物を持ったまま移動しなければならなかった。足が不自由な人には耐えられない状況である。

ホテルの施設は、りとてもキレイで良かったです。
夕食も大分名物のりゅうきゅう、唐揚げ、とり天、佐伯ラーメン、別府冷麺、だご汁、自分でアレンジできるちらし寿司など大分県の名物が揃ってました。
風呂も満足しました。特にサウナの水風呂の温度がぬる過ぎず、冷た過ぎずで最高でした。

員工基本上不能用英文對答，未能符合這大集團應有的期望

ホテルの場所が別府駅に近いうえにたくさんある近所の共同湯に徒歩圏内、とっても便利な歴史あるホテルです。お部屋にも昔の別府の写真がたくさんあり、素敵です。お風呂は朝の5時から夜中の12時まで入浴可能。チェックインも夜中まで可能です。駐車場は立体と平置きと両方あります。浴衣やアメニティは受付の前にあり、自由に追加できます。感じが良い清潔感のあるホテルです。また利用したいです。

朝食のビュッフェは７時半頃に行くととても混雑していて、しばらく並ばないと入れなかったが、食べ終えて出る頃には空いていた。種類も多くどれも美味しかった。他にも1階の和食レストランで海鮮丼か御膳が選べる朝食もあり、そちらは並ぶ事なくすぐ食べられる。

部屋は、清掃が雑で前泊者のシーツが棚の上に。
部屋は老朽化が進んでビジネスホテルの下位相当。それでも値段は、素泊まりで1泊シングルで¥20,000オーバー。
年間50泊ほどホテルを利用しますが、間違いなく最下位の評価です。

客室はきれい。食事は美味しいです。駅からも歩けて便利です。特に担々麺は細麺でこってりして美味しいです。温泉は普通で、鉄輪温泉のような別府らしい温泉ではなく、一般的な温泉です。
日本人と台湾人、韓国人が１：１：１で、子供さんもたくさん来られています。落ち着いた雰囲気を求められるなら、違う所が良いです。
