We have had great experiences with Staybridges , unfortunately this one was not one of them. There is no way to sugar coat this. When we walked in to the lobby it seem a bit dated and uninviting. However the receptionist was very nice and got us checked in quickly. That was about the only highlight though. When we walked into our room, we noticed what we first thought were fruit flies on the kitchen countertop, but then quickly realized they were cockroaches. We immediately turned around and went back down to the lobby. We asked for a new room, which we were give. But we wanted to make sure so the wife and I went to inspect it before taking all out stuff up. At first glance we notice it was cleaner and at first there was no signed of the roaches. But when we went to the bathroom we saw one on the floor. Again turned around and walked and. Ultimately we decided to go elsewhere. We didn’t want to risk taking bugs back home.

The staff was nice and friendly. The room needed sprucing up. You could tell no one has stayed in that room for some time. You could see where we sat on the couch due to the dust. There was dirt and just in the floors. The bathroom counter was dirty. I had to clean it off. The bathtub was dirty. But the room size and kitchenette made it worth the stay.

The price for a suite was great, however the room smelled very musty to the point we had to go buy air freshener. The shower had rust around the faucet and at the bottom of the tub. The hot breakfast options were awful, fake bacon, eggs were dry and gross, sausage was hard. The beds were super comfortable and pillows too, staff was very friendly.

The carpet under the air conditioning unit is wet and obviously leaking. Reported it and they were willing to change our room but we felt it was not necessary. My husband is disabled and since I had already gave him a shower and put him to bed I did not wish to make the change.
Hopefully they will follow up on this as it is quite musty down this hallway already.

I like the way our room with the kitchenette was set up. It was clean and comfortable. Well I didn't like was the fact that I asked for towels and they told me they were short-staffed and they didn't have any. So for a 2-day stay after we threw our towels on the ground and used them we had no towels but past that the place was pretty good

It was an older motel but not as well kept as most staybridge suites we have stayed at.
I'm sure the clerk at desk when we checked in was new but took 15 minutes or more to check in and room was booked online

Disappointing Stay

This was a disappointing stay. We were in town for a family funeral and had planned to stay both Friday and Saturday nights so we would have a place to gather after the funeral on Saturday. Unfortunately, due to the issues at the hotel, we ended up traveling home Saturday after the funeral and did not stay the second night we had reserved. The issues were:
1. Active, live roaches in both of our rooms.
2. A/C was out in the lobby/breakfast area.
3. Breakfast was stated to begin at 7:00, but the room was dark and empty when we got there, except for 4 other families waiting for breakfast. Eventually, a kitchen staff member came out and said it would open at 7:30, offering no explanation. There was no juice because she couldn't get the machine to work, there was no hot water for tea, there was not batter in the waffle station, and there was no ice for drinks.
4. The pool is in very bad condition. The water is cloudy, and you cannot see more than 6 inches from the surface. The surrounding area is unkept, with trash and other debris littered in the space. We booked this hotel specifically with the pool in mind, but we were unable to use this amenity due to its condition.
Hotels.com was able to negotiate a partial refund for our trip, and I would not recommend a stay at this hotel unless major improvements are made.

I Want to Like it But I am Disappointed

1st: the fridge had leftover food from previous guest. It's not just a little amount either: it is some pizza in a box, some breadsticks, apple sauce and a bowl of old noodles. I would have expected this to have been cleaned out before our stay.

2nd: The room we purchased said it \"sleeps four\". It has a suite with a \"King\" size bed in a separate room, and an area with sofa bed. But the problem is that the pull out sofa is not the typical size closer to a \"full\" (that would sleep two) as I have seen in many hotels before. Rather, it folds out to a \"twin\" that would typically sleep one. The sofa has a chaise lounge but it is not enough for a typical adult to lay flat on. I asked if there is another room with the same setup (King Suite with Sleeper Sofa that sleeps four) with a separate room but with the normal sofa bed but they said they do not have it.

3rd: There are two TV's: one in the room with the King bed, and the other one with the weird sofa bed. The one in the room is an LG would not allow to go directly onto the channel list but would have to scroll up and down to the actual channel. Also, its remote says it has Netflix and Amazon but the buttons don't do anything. Looking around the menu and settings do not show it is a Smart TV at all. The other TV is an Insignia one and we first tried scrolling on it only allowed four channels. I asked about this and maintenance came. they said for that TV, I can't scroll to look for channels but instead pressed in.

We were hopeful our stay would be a clean one due to the reviews and pictures online, however that was not the case. Our family was in town for a softball tournament so we really just needed clean beds and hot showers at the end of each day. The pull out couch bed that had a giant yellow stain on the mattress. Our pillow cases had questionable hairs and fresh stains (not washed) on them. There was a dead critter hanging out of the light fixture in the kitchen. Mosquitos everywhere which probably was due to the broken windows that allowed a decent amount of rain into our room. It was not the best experience, but that being said, the staff was incredibly kind and friendly. Very helpful when we asked for fresh bedding and the breakfast was decent enough. Hope they get this addressed becaused this was a place with potential. (*Tried adding photos of yellow stain and critter but it won't let me unfortunately)

We booked here because the good reviews and the picture of the pool area. It’s summertime there should be no reason all the shrubbery around the property is overgrown and the pool is disgustingly dirty. The seating are looked unkept as well. The room was clean, but there were roaches in the kitchen and bathroom, the hall ways and rooms have a horrible smell, the bed had a HUGE dent In the middle. The breakfast had potential but was not fresh and starts at 730am NEVER seen that time at a hotel, we had to leave early one day so we didn’t even get to utilize it. Just not what we expected, someone needs to put some elbow grease, time and attention to this properly.

Good for a quick stay

The rooms were nice. The people were kind. The front desk just seemed to have been empty anytime we needed to find someone, and maintenance could just be better. Our toilet kept making a running noise, we were told to jiggle the handle. Certain entries you couldn’t get access to because they were broken. The juice machine was broken but they accommodated everyone by letting them grab a free juice. Breakfast was great. Also very short staffed on housekeepers. I think if they had more people on staff, and upkept maintenance I would have given it a 10/10. Also a sewer like smell upon entry to the hotel.

Eh. Not impressed and wouldn’t stay again, especially for the price. The whole place felt dirty, literally started cleaning our own room upon arrival. Didn’t feel comfortable letting my toddlers use the bath tub as it felt unsanitary. Beds were comfy, kitchen in the rooms were nice. The whole place is very old and dated, rooms are smelly, couch was gross we didn’t want to sit on it, all dusty and stained. Room didn’t match the photos online that I booked, only stayed the one glad and it wasn’t more. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Breakfast was easily 2/10 stars. Nothing felt fresh, lacking serving utensils and cleanliness. Staff was super friendly though and the location was convenient however unsafe feeling.

The hotel is very run down. When we got to our room the kitchen towels had food on them, the shower was peeling and dirt in the corners. The pool was out of service and the emergency exit door was open and did not close. They also have a large population of birds living in the trees that you can hear inside and bird poo covering everything outside. Will not be staying here again.

Several kids or teens stayed in the room next door during our stay. They began chatting loudly around midnight, and due to the poor soundproofing of the walls, we could clearly hear the shouting and laughing.

After enduring the noise for about half an hour, we called the front desk. A few minutes later, a woman briefly spoke in the hallway for a few seconds. While the noise subsided momentarily, it quickly returned to its previous volume. It was apparent that no adults were accompanying the children in the room, which was quite shocking to us.

After another hour of restless half-sleep, we were completely awakened by the shouting and laughing again. At that point, we had no choice but to call the front desk a second time. We are unsure how long it took for the noise to completely stop, but by morning, we felt utterly exhausted.

We spoke with the front desk and were assured that the manager would contact us. We also learned that other guests around our room experienced identical issues during their stays. However, as of this writing, we have not received any communication from anyone at the property.

Trashcan outside the front door was constantly overflowing and you couldn’t throw one thing in it. Trash sat out around the bin. We went to breakfast at 8:20am on a Saturday. Nothing was left except waffles, sausage links that were almost white, and some omelettes-but full of peppers, chile. No milk for cereal except chocolate. Regular brewed coffee was out. They had decaf. Only 2 of our 5 person party went down. We ate some yogurt and had a muffin. Disappointing considering I was charged an extra $10 for the 5th person in our room-which I was guessing was for the breakfast. We didn’t even eat $5 worth of food. We have stayed here multiple times on our trips to WF. This time may be our last. I was very disappointed in what we got for the $$$.

This was a trip was a very pleasant experience. Orlando went over and beyond to make sure my friend and I had everything we needed for our stay. One morning they were out of hot water and orange juice, so Orlando got us some hot water for our hot chocolate and oatmeal. Then, he offered my friend some orange juice. Also, had a nice conversation with the sweet lady who maintained the breakfast buffet. Even though we were translating from our apps on our phones, we managed with a good conversation. It's the small acts of kindness that goes a long way and it builds a solid business rapport with customers and hotel management. We will definitely be back.

One thing that I would like Staybridge to consider, please put towel racks in the bathroom. Where should your quest put their bath towels after they use them? Towel racks are a necessity. Thank you

The queen studio was nicely appointed. The front desk staff were very helpful. Housekeeping was not. Just decided to skip light cleaning my room on friday then when I asked for light cleaning on Sat, they just left clean towels. Old and borderline nasty. We went into the first room and after I killed 6 roaches running around I went back the the front desk and asked for another room. Good news was the second room I only had to kill one roach! Floors are old and filthy showers not caulked and moldy. Had to put a sheet on the couch due to it probably being 30 years old so u can imagine the smell and look. Over all the edges and corners were filthy and had many dead roaches. Will never stay there again. Only good thing was the breakfast was good but I don’t want to see the kitchen!

I have stay at many Staybridge Suites and this one was most disappointing. It was outdated and facilities were not up to par.
The microwave stopped working and then continued to beep with a service warning ⚠️. I had to unplug it. The phone in the room didnt work...it sounded like an old dial-up computer with high pitch sounds and static buzzing.

I called the number on the phone in the room (labeled to give to a 911 dispatcher if needed) and it was wrong! It took me to some Two Sisters business.

There were no waste baggies or trash can bags at any of the pet stations.

With all that said... the staff was always very friendly and helpful with what they could do.

1st impressions are everything and the grass or should I say weeds around the property looked as if they hadn’t been touched in over a month. The next thing that caught my attention was the “POOL CLOSED” sign. I told lady behind counter if I would have known the pool was closed I wouldn’t have booked. Room was spacious, TV’s a little small for our viewing pleasure. AC worked great. There were exposed electrical wires in our closet for a pre-existing light bulb. The pull out sofa which my 12 year old sleep on was the size of a miniature blow up mattress with approx 3” of bed mattress. Won’t stay here again. Let me make this very clear. I lay all of this upon Management and owners. You guys (cross gender for you some folks) can do a lot better.

Breakfast was quite good. There are some maintenance and repair issues in the room that are minor, but could be improved. We had a great stay!

Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful; however didn’t present a professional look as all wore street or athletic clothes. Some areas were cluttered and not clean. Rooms were clean, very comfortable and roomy.

First assigned room had not been cleaned. Second room assigned was not totally cleaned (trash under kitchen sink, dirty dishes in sink, and main TV did not work). Upon checkout, the clerk took out name so that the manager could call us. The manager did contact us about one hour later and thanked us for letting him know the issues. He was going to take of the room fee for the issues we had.
