We were very disappointed in this property. We had just returned from a full day of business meetings and were exhausted and told both elevators were out. We had to carry very heavy luggage and meeting supplies up the stairs. The room was dark and dated. The bathroom had damaged trim and the ceiling had water damage. We didn’t have any wash cloths or a bath mat when we arrived and had to wait for them after our long day. The breakfast was just ok. I travel to this area often and will not stay again.

This was a good hotel option for the price. Our room was clean for the most part and very spacious. The property does show some age. Our only complaint was there were no hand towels or washcloths in our room and they only had a few washcloths available at the front desk. When our room was cleaned, they still didn't leave either of these items. The communication from the hotel was great!

It is not as nice as pictures make it out to be. And the staff was rude to my wife when I had made reservations from one room to another. Some miscommunication they had at front desk. Either way they were rude and trying to bully my wife into leaving the room. Will not be returning. You have been warned.

Our room was clean, and the breakfast area was well maintained. However, the staff did not make our bed or clean the bathroom after our first full day. Also, they seemed to have a shortage of washcloths and hand towels, as we often were given just one of each for two of us!

We had such an issue with towels. Day 1, had to ask 4 times to get towels. Finally, by around 7pm, we got some. Next day, we only had to ask twice but same scenario. We had a clogged toilet as well on the first night.

The entry light to our room was burned out, the desk lamp usb charger was broken, the nightstand lamp smelled like an electrical fire when we used the plug or usb, the alarm clock had the wrong time, there were two towels in a room that had three people in it, the toilet overflowed, the pool was once again closed.

I would say the room definitely could’ve been cleaner. Rooms definitely could be more updated. The elevator was broken the whole entire stay so that wasn’t great and then we did a load of laundry and then the dryer was miraculously broken when it wasn’t broken when I started my load of laundry. Luckily the staff was really nice and let us dry the laundry in the hotel laundry room. But it was definitely crappy to have all this things happen. Wasn’t bad for a quick stay.

Not a good place to stay at if you want a decent experience. The people that work here are really something else (lazy). Every time I passed by the front desk, it was unattended because the ladies were sitting down in another area gossiping. The TV in my room wasn’t working and when I notified front desk, the lady said maintenance will arrive shortly. Well, he never did and when I reminded her upon check out, this lady said that the maintenance guy was not reachable and that this was out of her control. THEN WHY SAY HE IS GOING TO THE ROOM IF HE IS NOT?!?! This lady had attitude and come to find out, she’s the general manager for this place. What a disgrace. The rooms are outdated, had broken mirrors, no towels at all, bed linen had a weird odor, and breakfast service was like pulling teeth when you asked for something that had run out. All they wanted to do is sit down and watch the guests. LAZY.

Young lady was nice, but what followed was not. I needed to get some work done during the night but your WiFi was designed not to be obtainable. Have someone who wants to retain loyal guests see if this abomination is to save money in some way or just used to drive off guests.

Have already lost too much time and sleep trying to negotiate how you managed to complicate the simple.

We actually did not end up staying because the front desk woman was so incredibly rude and hateful when we tried to check in (after we finally found her!). She had the worst attitude, wouldn’t look at us but just immediately started yelling, like we were bothering her by trying to check in. The entire place smelled like marijuana as well, so we decided not to stay. We felt unsafe with her yelling and the weed smoke .

The staff here goes above and beyond to make sure you’re stay is all that you want. They make sure you are comfortable, safe, and a clean and quiet room. They are all very friendly, especially the lady that tends to the food and the breakfast. I’ve stayed there many times, and she by far stands out above all staff. She is very friendly and very accommodating.

Hotel stay for Doctors Appointment

I made the appointment at the Baymont because I had a medical appointment near that location at 6:00 am on October 3. Unfortunately, when I booked the appointment, I meant to book it for Thursday night, October 2 and check out on the morning of October 3. But because Hotels.com books +or - 1 day of the day you request, the reservation was booked for check-in on October 3 instead of October 2. Unfortunately, I didn't look at my confirmation closely enough to see the check-in date. When I arrived at the hotel, the clerk saw that my reservation was actually for October 3. She was very courteous and helpful, and cancelled that reservation and gave us another room for Thursday night, the night I actually needed. I realize the reservation was non-refundable ... and I did not purchase the insurance because I intended to keep that reservation that I had intended to book. And it was my error in not reading the reply from Motels.com confirming my reservation. However, if it would be possible, I would appreciate a refund that was charged to my credit card on 10/03/25.

I traveled with myself and my toddler plus my service dog. Staff were extremely friendly, especially the staff working the breakfast. Food was great and plenty of options within walking distance as well. We were there for a week, and will definitely stay again if work brings me back to the area.

1st floor reservation not provided-no one at desk at checking- my friend who tried to check in early was told there would b a $25 charge she left-after checking clerk gave me keys and said u r in room 206-tried key and could not get in-kind housekeeping lady said she would check and said the correct room was 216 my fault didn’t double check- moved to room 216-no hair dryer in room was nothing but a hole in the wall-called desk will send technician-tech brought his bc there were no more-installed his and it didn’t work-tech said he would find another even if he has to go buy one-found there were no towels in room-luckily HK lady was in hall and provided to us-soon tech returned with another dryer partially put together with a silver tape but it did work-we asked tech if he knew how to get into TV sure and this was their biggest complaint but he logged us in and left-all stations we attempted to watch said the network was unavailable so it didn’t work either-time to get ready for our event-shower did not work and looked like it was attached with caulk and string-washed hair sitting in tub not much of a shower-we got to our event about 40 minutes late-returned to hotel about 9 and note on door stating if u arrived after 6:30p then you must enter at side entrances if building-next morning tried breakfast and some people said there was nothing worth eating but I prepared a breakfast taco for my husband which turned his stomach-kitchen lady decided to sweep while patrons were eati

Unlike our last hotel, they have four wheeled luggage carts that are stable, sturdy and maneuverable for bringing the mix of luggage we’re traveling with. Interesting tile decor in the lobby with a comfortable mezzanine area for reading and relaxing. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious enough to accommodate all of our things.

The room was so clean. We enjoyed are visit. The only thing that was wrong besides our door sticking really bad. The elevator made something noises which was scary. Going to breakfast. The last day was a horrible experience when your breakfast staff accuses us all of stealing her plate. A man who was elderly and blind Accidentally grabbed it, and was using to eat off of it. She yelled and screamed and wanted the tape run back so she could find out who took her plate. She then went over and grab the plate from the old man, dumped it out onto a thing and told him and his traveler that they should’ve known better. That was really nasty, I struggle from PTSD and that did not help me at all made me scared and didn’t know what was gonna happen. I think that we were all that was in there that morning. We were very disrespected by this lady. The front Desk staff were so kind and helpful. They were just awesome.

The staff was friendly. Our room was really dirty. There was hair in the shower, on the towels, on the hair dryer, and on our sheets. We also had stains on our sheets. The floors didn’t even look vacuumed. We didn’t even feel comfortable sleeping in there. There were dead bugs in the hallway on the stairs as well. The pool says it’s open until 10, but it was closed when we got there around 9.

We had been in the car for a while when we got to thw motel, of course we wanted a shower. My boyfriend got in the shower to realuze there were no towels in the bathroom so he had to dry off with the hand towel. I asked the house keeper for 2 more towels the next morning when she was in the hallway. She said, she didnt have any on her cart. We were leaving to visit family, I didnt have time to wait.
The breakfast was free, i am glad for that because it wasnt very good. The BED was hard as a rock we both haf sore backs the next day. An employee said that hed try to get us another room, never heard back about that.
It looked way better online than in person. It did serve its purpose and i am thankful for that.

The only concern I have is there were no towels in our room. A lady with staff said they were running short on towels that she would bring some by our room in 30 minutes but so far we have not seen her ? She did give my wife one towel, no wash clothes or floor mat for the shower ? The dead bolt on the door does not work very well. Have to get it just right to make it work ?

I accidentally selected the wrong date. I immediately called hotels to change it . They called the hotel who needed to speak to a manager… all in all, I could not change the date and basically paid for a room I couldn’t use because I was traveling and would be out of state the next day. They refused to refund it as well.

Checked online so that was quick and easy. Upon arriving our room had dirty towels on a chair and toilet had urine on the toilet rim. They gave us a new room immediately and everything was fine until we found a dirty towel mixed in with the clean towels.

The hotel industry must have a hard time finding maintenance people everywhere I go lately things are needing repairs and with the price of rent it just doesn't add up.
