The room was not clean. There was someone else’s hair tucked into the sheets on the bed. When the jetted tub was turned on black gunk came out of it. The room smelt bad. The price of that room is disgusting based on the cleanliness and look.

The staff was super friendly, but other than that, this was pretty disappointing. First of all, the exterior doors to the hotel do not lock at night. One near the back was left ajar. As a female traveling solo, this was very unsettling. Also, the hairdryer was broken. Phone was broken so I couldn't call the front desk and the TV remote did not work. There was a dirty towel left in the room. The hallways smelled like potpourri and it was enough to make you nauseous. Good thing for friendly staff!!

Clean but a used wash cloth from previous occupant left used on shower curtain rod. When cleaned the following day staff just left it. Gross. Stand lamp in corner didn't light when attempted. Inspection revealed no bulb in fixture and the housing separated from its base

Water pressure in bathroom shower was awful. After you have the temperature you want, it turnsto scalding. Then you readjust it and within seconds its freezing. Size of bathroom...the door is millimetersfrom touchingthe toilet. You can't go i. And shutthedoor, its too small, and you can't sit with the door open. TERRIBLE DESIGN. No ice machine on 2nd floor. Eggs for breakfast looked like jello eggs. My dog, refused to eat the eggs. Bacon was overcooked, not burnt, but super-duper crispy. Sausage was meh. No good non-carb options or even healthy options. They do let my service dog stay, but not alot of potty areas for the dogs.

This is our choice hotel while visiting our son at Wake Forest. This was the first time we had an issue with our reservation. It was cancelled somehow. Still not sure who is responsible. Terrance the manager at the hotel was helpful in securing a room for us. Breakfast was delightful as always. Staff is very friendly. Walking distance to Allegacy Stadium.

We arrived at the hotel and they refused to honor our reservation, despite the fact that we had made the reservation 5 months prior, had our confirmation number as well as emails confirming our upcoming stay sent only days before. The staff was obnoxious, lazy, and totally unapologetic. They acted as if it was OUR fault. As we left the property, we overheard several other families who had the same issue. Unforgivable!

Staff I came into contact with were pleasant, helpful and seemed happy to help. Breakfast was awesome, our room was very clean and the pool & gym were nice. I do wish we had a microwave in our room and one of the elevators was out of order, but it didn't make any difference for us because we used the stairs. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

My room smelled very strongly of cat urine. As did the entire hallway. The air conditioner worked periodically and was actually falling apart. Paint was peeling off the bath tub. Carpet was torn up in some places. It was quite awful. Complimentary breakfast but it’s not serve until well after you’re already gone in the morning. I travel all over for work and stay in many hotels, this one is definitely in the top as one of the worst!

Our experience at the Best Western Plus began with the main entrance doors that were out of order. We then had to wait for more than 10 minutes to check in despite only two parties ahead of us and two agents at the desk. Next, we had to fill in vehicle information on the check in agreement despite providing all of this information using online check-in. The agent gave us keys to a room that a) did not work and b) was occupied so we had to go back down to the front desk to secure keys to a new room. The agent was non-apologetic about the mix-up. We headed to the new room only to find a carpet that is soaking wet and made the room very humid for our stay and disgusting to walk on. Had we not been trying to get to our evening engagement we would have asked for yet a third room. Besides the carpet issue, the bathtub had been refinished at some point in time but about 1/5 of had cracked off. The built-in wood door hinges for the refrigerator were defective and would not close all the way. The self-serve coffee maker made pretty bad coffee. The hotel’s second elevator (closest to where we parked our car) was out of service (but no marked as such). The back door exit to the parking lot required you to press a red Exit button on the adjacent wall to exit the building. Just pressing on the door release bar would not open the door. I can’t believe this meet building code. On the positive, the bed was clean and comfortable Needless to say, we will never stay at this hot

The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and responsive, which made our stay more enjoyable. The lobby was inviting, and the pool area looked well-maintained and appealing.

The hallways were clean and in good condition.
Our room, while basic, met our needs adequately. The beds were comfortable, and housekeeping did an excellent job; we arrived to a clean and cool room, which was a great welcome.

A few drawbacks: The elevator and gym were uncomfortably warm, which detracted from our experience. Additionally, the air conditioning in our room began making noise in the middle of the night and continued to do so, disrupting our sleep.

A significant concern was the presence of large cockroaches in the breakfast area, which was quite off-putting

I was a little anxious atter reading several recent negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! The room was very clean with several pillows on the bed. Refrigerator got really cold and both it and the microwave were clean. Everything was fully stocked. The bathroom is a little small, but not inconvenient. I will say however, that the tub need needs redone (not replaced) bc it's peeling a good bit. I loved the water pressure and toiletries. The AC worked wonderfully. The tv remote didn’t work 100%, but we weren't awake long enough to reakky watch it anyways. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I seen people talking about the bland breakfast. I appreciate this because a lot of people can't have salt due to medical reasons. Breakfast had a lot of options (hot & cold). I will definitely stay at this location again in the future. I wasn't ready to leave!

I would not recommend this hotel.

The entry automatic doors were broken and remained so for our entire stay. They were instead blocked off with luggage carts and labeled with a handwritten sign. Entry traffic was rerouted through an adjacent door that once belonged to a now defunct/closed bar area. The door handles and glass were covered in finger prints and were never cleaned during our stay.

We arrived a few hours early and while we were allowed an early check-in we had to sacrifice our king beds for two queens. Housekeeping never showed up once.

Some staff were friendly and helpful. Others seemed thoroughly disinterested and couldn’t have cared less.

The elevator to our room was filthy and cramped. Fingerprints were on everything and crumbs and debris were all over the floor.

The bathrooms were small and cramped, the shower fixtures were old and outdated. The shower stall was heavily caulked and discolored by mildew.

Pool area was always out of towels. Used towels were left discarded all over the pool deck and were never picked up by staff. When I asked the front desk for towels an annoyed woman got me a few hand towels.

The patio adjacent to the pool was occupied by several youths dressed for the street, drinking liquor from glass bottles and smoking marijuana. Halls often stunk of marijuana, too.

The TV remote died. Staff fumbled through an ice bucket of mismatched remotes and had none that worked and no batteries. I left and bought batteries myself.

Stayed here multiple times over the last 2 years. Things are getting bad at this property. Decent price for a decent room was my go to for a quick getaway. But the rooms have slacked in cleanliness. This last stay the door would not latch on it's own. It was in the middle of the night when i realized it. Just had to rig things til the morning. Bedding seem to be just thrown together. Dirt and dust on the headboard. At least linen was clean this time. That's the 1 good thing i can say. Might not come back anymore

Let me start off by saying this entire hotel is in rough shape!!! Front doors where broken, they had to stay open all the time. Door to room had to be slammed for it to even latch. Tub drain stopper wouldnt stop a mack truck much less any water, so no bath for the kids. Several exit doors were out of order, so we had to walk all the way to main entrance everytime we left and came back. Pool was out of order and was never told at check in. Just an all around bad experience!!!!!
