Do not stay here. Room smells toilet leaked doors do not lock securely. Steps are broken and unsafe. You book and pay for a king but you get a queen mattress on a full box springs if you sit on the side you will slide off. There was open wires stained horrible carpet. The pictures are not of this place the rooms look nothing like the pics you have no access to lobby or front desk. There is no iron ironing board no amenities. Also they will demand to see what you paid and require a deposit they say is for amenities but there are none. And you will not get the deposit back it is actually extortion if you want the room you pay 2x the listed amount. Unsafe unsanitary horrible place and people!

Do not stay here looks nothing like the photos. I got to the room and there were period stains on the sheets. I told the people downstairs they didn’t understand English and my room wouldn’t open. I had to keep going down to ask them to open my room a bunch of truckers come there and it’s really loud at night with a bunch of stray. Dogs and cats do not book.

While my ratings reflect my experience, I want to first say the bed was comfortable and the A/C was very good, which is my minimum requirement.
When I pulled in, all the vehicles were pickup trucks, which hinted at low cost rooms for contractors, so I had realistic expectations. It's an old property in disrepair and the room was bare minimum. The tv didn't function, the flooring and walls showed exposed concrete in places, the trim between the bathroom and living area was gone and the gap was full of debris.
To be fair, you get what you pay for and it was bare minimum acceptable. I needed a place to sleep and I got it.
The woman was nice enough, but insisted on a cash deposit of $30...from behind a glass barrier, a hint at the neighborhood.
That said, I did get my deposit back, although the next morning the gentleman produced the wrong receipt for my room number. It was from the previous guy who demanded a refund.
Bottom line, keep your expectations low and accept it for what it is and you'll be ok.
It's best for tradesmen trying to keep costs down while on a job, or like me, a guy just needing a comfy bed with A/C for a few hours sleep while traveling.

The staff was very friendly. The building should be demolished. The bathroom door handles completely missing, just a hole where they used to be, the tub and shower worked, but the tub drain held in place by tape, the tile on the walls pulling away. the sheets appeared clean, but full of burn holes and stains. the floor not vacuumed at all, food trash behind the bed. This was the only option available at our last minute health related travel delay. The hotel's deposit of $30/room was a surprise. This property, and possibly hotel chain is now at the top of my - DO NOT list.

I could not get a refund back so unfortunatley I had to stay there but the room was disgusting,you could not lock the door,the sheets had stains on them,there was crap on the ceiling,there were holes in the door and wall that someone punched,and the staff was absolutley rude!! I came in to pay and had a card and he asked if I had cash and when I said no sir I don't instead of just asking nicely he demanded I go to the gas station and pull cash then when giving my change back he threw it at me!!The next moring when I went to check out his wife looked at me like how dare you wake me up to check out!!

The tub was nasty and looked like the enamel was worn off. The sheets were stained with what looked like grease and blood. There was no way we were going to use the tub or sleep in those sheets so we didn't even stay there. I booked a room at another hotel and stayed in the other hotel. Beware of this property.

When I arrived the man at the desk had no idea how to do anything. I am glad I printed out my receipt so I had proof of my reservation and price I was quoted.
He then asked for a cash deposit of $10? That took me back. I had to fill out a generic sales slip, made sure to include my price of stay and the $10
The room condition wasn't great. Microwave was dirty and the rotating tray was mia. Holes in carpet, fridge wasn't very cold, and the bedding had makeup smears on them. The fire detector was gone, the hairdryer was gone. Provided 2 bars of soap and a small lotion sample. Had a few plastic cups...no coffee machine and the large ice maker outside didn't work. They are too cheap to update the cards in the direct TV boxes so only local channels available and they were hard to get in. Won't stay again.

This hotel was horrible!

The walls were dirty and had multiple stains and bad patch work all over. The bathroom and shower curtains were dirty, the tiles were cracked, the carpet was dirty and had multiple stains.

The window had a big crack, the door to the room was misaligned and kept getting stuck.

The A/C would not cool down the room enough.

There was no microwave oven or refrigerator. No rod in the “closet” to hang clothes.

The TV did not work.

The swimming pool was drained and dirty.

The people at the front desk were rude and wouldn’t bring me fresh towels to the room when I called, they told me I had to come down and pick them up myself, then when I got there they gave me a hard time asking why did I need more towels when there were already towels in the room.

On first arriving the property looked a little rundown, the thing they call a pool wasn't even size of my pickup and obviously hadn't been cleaned or working in years. The lady at front desk was very rude, came to the window, said no check-ins before 3 and left. If I hadn't already paid I would not have came back. My daughter and I toured Wichita Falls while we waited. We came back after 3 and a very sweet older gentleman was at the desk window. He gave us our key and thanked us for staying at his hotel.
Only things bad about hotel was lack of pool, (they need to remove that from their website), the interior doorknob kept falling off and room smelled musty....
The sweet older gentleman was the highlight of that motel experience.

Man at the front was extremely rude the entire time. When we first got there he acted like he didn’t even want to give us a room even though we had already booked it and paid for it. When we got to the room there was no remote for the tv and the switch next to the door controlled the power for the whole room so you couldn’t touch it. When we called for a remote we were told we would have to wait until someone else showed up in the office so we could get one. I have worked multiple front desk jobs and it is your duty to put a sign up and do what your guests need you to do regardless if you are by yourself or not. There was no bed spread on the beds. The room was not very clean. The pool was not open and excuse I was told was “no one has a pool because of the river,” but we had already found another hotel with an open pool. We were in the room less than 30 minutes and checked out because we were so dissatisfied with everything. I do not recommend staying here unless you absolutely just need somewhere to sleep for the night but be prepared for extreme rudeness and poor customer service.

Hmm where do i start well when i got there i had to wait in the space between the lobby and the outside because the lady was asleep on the couch in the lobby which took 30 min ,then she had the worst attitude ever
She then demanded 10 $ for a deposit which is fine but my thing is i had already paid online what if i didnt have that 10$ cash on me then what . I paid for a king and i told her that she gave me a 2 queen size bed room which was nasty there were people loitering all over the parking lot ,all in all it was just a terrible experience i didnt even stay 10 min and left. My goal was to find a decent place to stay on a tight budget. I was very pleased with this hotel. The room was spotless, and the staff was friendly and professional.

The pool was not yet open for the season, and there was no coffee or breakfast provided, but one would not expect there to be at this price.

Raise for Paula, and maintenance needs to do job.

Front desk lady (Paula I believe) was great. Room was not. Most of the lights didn't work in the room, the TV and everything was unplugged, the sockets for the plugs were so loose that I had to move the nightstand to pinch my phone charger from coming out of the wall. The lady next to us checked into a full trash can that she had to bring to the front to get emptied, and to top off EVERYTHING ELSE no bathroom door. Poor Paula was just trying to keep up. She needs a raise.

After securing the reservation with a credit card, at check-in the front desk informed me that they would not take a credit card and I had to get in my car to drive somewhere to obtain cash. When I resisted enough they went ahead and charged it to my credit card without issue. The room smelled fine but later that night the cockroaches came out in droves both from the headboard and the TV stand (on opposite sides of the room). I caught 4 cockroaches under 1 plastic cup. The next morning they were not very pleasant about \"inspecting\" the room and refunding my $10 (cash) security deposit, but they did.

You get what you pay for but this was below par. Light in bathroom didn’t work, tv remote didn’t work and no phone in the room to call the front desk. Smoke detector was unplugged from the wall and laying on the desk. They also required a $10 cash deposit refunded at checkout, I had to checkout at 4am , and it took 10 minutes to finally wake up the very unhappy person, in order to get my cash back. He was not at all interested when I tried to explain some of the issues with the room, OYO On Your Own… pretty much covers it.

The stay was terrible. Our first room had wet, literally wet moldy carpet. They got me a second room which was just as bad. The beds were dirty. The counters were dirty. We had no running water in our room either.

My rooms door also had a crack in it where you could see into the room. Also did I mention, NO RUNNING WATER. Not even a handle on the faucet... I feel like I was ripped off. This place also only accepts cash for the stay so I had to go to an ATM after arriving to pull out $180 in cash to pay for disgusting room. Hotels.com should be ashamed for advertising this hotel.

The housekeeping team were awesome and did a great job considering what they had to work with.
Pretty sketchy location and interesting \"temporary\" clients and visitors.
Carpets were damp to wet on the edges. Repairs were shortcut. Bed was comfy though.
Didnt enjoy the insecticide smell after cleaning.
Lends itself to be a okay stay for laborers and others needing a quick place to stay along the highway.

Where to start originally we left out of Tulsa thinking we were good to go reservation in hand. 3.5 hours later, twenty minutes from arrival, the hotel calls us (oyo at I-44) to say they were out of rooms and to go to the Maurine hotel. We arrive at the Maurine hotel to the lovely street worker who propositions me on my way in.Upon coming in they tell me they have no rooms and they don't work with that Oyo. While I am inside a man apparently in a drunken stupor punches my truck now I have a small dent ( thanks truck manufacturer for making it aluminum) my kiddo is now crying as I walk out the door I see the gentleman trying to take my kiddos BMX race bike out of the bed of the truck and holler at him. Needless to say I am out $143 that the company won't refund and we are all a little scarred and much more reserved now. Stay away at all costs. It's a scam where they charge you double and terms and conditions don't have to, or only offer half back this is their scam to stay in business. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was absolutely abhorrent and people should stay as far away as possible.

Absolutely disgusting hotel, druggies and prostitutes hanging out in the parking lot along with broken down cars in various disarray in the back parking lot. I didnt stay and i guess i cant get my money back either. My pickup was a safer sleeping option in walmart parking lot. Door wasnt sealed allowing bugs in, could see thru the door frame into the adjoinining room (mustve been a suite), spiders, flies and who knows what else in the room. Bathroom was dirty and had no toilet paper, bed sheets stained and the room stank of i dont know what. The health department needs to go visit this place along with the police, what a disgusting dump, most truck stop bathrooms are cleaner.

No coffee pots in the room, the soap was like trying to wash with wax, and online it showed pictures of the lobby with a coffee pot. When i went down the next day to get coffee they had it locked with only a little window open for service, let me just say it was 9 a.m. in the morning. Online it showed the lobby with a coffe pot. What kind of hotel does not serve coffee.

If you are going to make a reservation at OYO hotels in Wichita Falls, be sure and write the address down. There are 2 on the same street, one easily found from I44; the other is on a frontage road. Since Travelocity doesn't give the street address on the website, I should have checked my e mail; it might have been on there. The first hotel did call and find my reservation, but I was concerned. And it doesn't help that with the plastic barriers, masks, and that the clerk's first language was not English and was hard to understand. The hotel does not have breakfast of any kind, but it was advertised as having it, which is one of the reasons we chose it.

This place is in need of serious up keep. 1st on the bathroom door, the handles on both sides of the door were broke. The bath tub drain is rusted with some nasty build up. People initials were wrote on the bathroom walls.there was not a chair 1 in the room and we did see a couple roaches. I have stayed at this motel before and it was completely different so maybe it was a bad draw on the room. The only thing good about this place is the price

When I checked in I was greeted by a very lovely woman named Paula, she was very sweet, polite, wanted me to have my best stay. I paid $37 and $10 for the deposit, the check in went smoothly, so i thought. When we got into the room it was clean at first glance, i checked the bedding and saw the red runner on the bed had multiple brown spots on it, it smelled clean so i assume they're just stains, the red Oyo pillow on the bed also had a strange white spot on it, we just left it off the bed. Other then those issues the room was spotless, smelled very clean, the tub even had a stopper so you could take a bath, the bed was very comftorable and the sheets we did use were very soft. My BIGGEST ISSUE with my stay was the next morning around 9am some women tried to enter our room WHILE WE SLEPT, no warning given. I assumed it was house keeping and told my husband not to worry about it. A little after 10am THE OWNER, an older man came to my our room banging on the door, if my husband hadn't stopped him he would have just barged straight in while i was in the bathroom. He SCREAMED AT US that we had not paid, accused us of squating. I had to name drop the women that checked me in for him to calm down and listen, after that he took my ID to make a copy of it. That was that. If my husband and I hadnt already booked another night and made plans we would have left that very morning, we didn't recieve a real apology, not from him, Paula, or the random women that had tried to enter our room.

I had to stay a week to transition from Colorado to Texas for medical treatment. The clerk Paula was great checking me in. The problem was the roof was under construction so a lot of noise and I tripped on the stuff on the ground and at six am I had workers banging my door to move my car from the parking lot and House keeping knocked and yelled and would just enter the room and if I locked the chain they would come back three or four times yelling and knocking even after I explained I was going through chemotherapy and needed rest not a quiet place at all so I left to another place

I did not like the condition of the bathtub, the loose fit of the door, the poor condition of the latch and lock, the loose screws on the safety lock, no chair, and worn carpet.

Room ok, check in shady.

Room was very clean. I had to rearrange the furniture to get the microwave plugged in.

But....
Check in was kind of shady. The woman at the front desk said I needed to put down a $20 deposit, and that it needed to be cash. When I said I didn’t have cash, she asked if I could go to an ATM or something. When I refused, she stammered a bit and then said I’d probably be fine without it. Seemed strange.
