The first room had no windows and smelled like stale cigarettes. People had use to smoke there. When i asked for a window suite, the staff were amazingly accomodating at no extra charge and the room was amazing and clean for the price. Breakfast was decent.

Super convenient location, 3 minutes' walk from Xinbeitou Station. Near the attractions and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Good variety of breakfast which tastes surprisingly delicious. The hot spring bath tub is supurb - nothing beats a relaxing hot spring bath after a day of walking around.

Highlight of the stay is getting hot spring water by tap into the tub! (takes awhile to get used to the sulfur smell but its normal)

Very accommodating staff, they let us leave our luggage after checkout to explore the city hands-free. Room view isnt great because it faces the backyard but its ok, we kept the curtains closed.

Location is very convenient, within walking distance to Beitou Thermal Valley! There's Carrefour, Japan Medical shop right next door, convenient for buying snacks and souvenirs. It's a good stay.

Location is fantastic as it is situated near the Xinbeitou metro station. Restaurants and stores are nearby. The hotel is old and the room is old too. Many hotels offer hourly stays if you want to spend only a few hours in the area and use the hot springs tub.

Overall, the property is old and all fixtures were, at best, semi-operative. Air conditioning was so mild that if one is happy with 23.5°C, then the rooms maybe okay. We had to swap room three times, still ended up asking a fan for a sleep able night. The only good thing is the included breakfast, which is quite decent. Otherwise, definitely NOT worth the money.

The hotel is close to the XinBeitou Station and is next to a lot of food options, a convenience store, and a 24 hour grocery store. It's easy to walk to some landmarks such as the Beitou Library and one of the Beitou Museums which is surrounded by beautiful greenery. I liked how there was a hot spring within the hotel room, but the room's design is more old fashioned; the amenities themselves were modern though. Reception was quick and kind as they let me run to the convenience store next door to grab an umbrella upon check out. I would like to ask again if you do see a 粉紅色香蕉夾 from room 209 to let me know. Thank you for the pleasant stay and I'd like to stay again!

Hotel is few minutes or opposite the Xin Bei Tou MTR and is just digonally opposite the junction. Room is small but nice as solo. In room proivde many TV and movies option and can hot pool if need. Nice. Walking distant to library, night market and beside is Carefour and pharmacy. Nice and relax place.

1. Only one side of the bed has electrical outlet and has the light switches.

I got the Japanese suitebed configuration room. The bathtub was unique and pretty cool. There wasn't much noise so it was easy to sleep.

The hallways smelled like the carpet's haven't been cleaned in a while. There was a leather chair/bed type thing in my room that seemed like it was molding or rusting...not a good look for the room. Also, the so call E. center (assuming entertainment center)...isn't much. A very small room with one REALLY old looking computer, one washing machine, and one dryer. It looked like it was just a storage room as if you open the curtains, it looked like there was a bunch of extra supplies. Since there's only one washer and dryer, you might find yourself waiting to use it.

Enjoy my stay.

Near to Xin Beitou MRT station. Eatery all round the area. Hot spring water jacuzzi bath tub attached. Supermarket just beside the entrance. Beitou Park just opposite. Bus 230 going to Yamingshan just opposite too. They make you feel welcome prior your arrival. You will received message from them of welcoming you and inform of check-in time and will enquire about your check-in time. I arrived before 2 pm and my room was ready. Good service. Once you left the hotel, key must pass to the reception staff. When you are back to resort, the staff recognised you and pass you the room key.
Will come again. Thank you!

Decent hotel for the price. Carpet could use a cleaning. Had a musty and somewhat smoky odor. Hot Spring water tub took forever to heat up. Had to drain it and start over. 2nd time was way hotter. Breakfast is so so. Room was very quiet. A/C was good but control panel gave off too much light.

1.I wish the shower head has a holder against the wall on the top. I had to hold it and cleaned myself at the same time, it was not friendly to use it.
2. the towels were torn. they should be changed as soon as possible.
3. the bath room was having bad smells from the bottom of the bath tub constantly. not sure if it is something to do with the natural hot spring source.

This hotel is very close to the metro station which is very good. But this along with relatively cheap price is the only pros I can think of.
For the cons, first of all, the facilities of the hotel looks and feels very old. All the furniture looks like it was dated from the early 90s.
Secondly, the bathroom is smaller than I expected. After all, this is a spring resort and one would expect to lay your whole body into a hot spring and relax. However, disappointingly, the bathroom of my room is small. It is so small that the only way I can ditch myself into the hot spring is to have my knees bend and hold it against my chest!

This Hot Spring Resort is very convenient, just 1 min walk to and fro Train station. Though the reception counter is small but their service is very good. The room size is pretty good, wifi ok, bathroom and tub are big. They even care us to do a survey to improve their service and still have free gift.
However, we are caught in surprise when we check-in that they expect us to pay extra NT500 for my child which need not anything. Hotel.com didn't tell us that we need to make extra payment.

The hotel is conveniently located near Xinbeitou Station and there were restaruants and shops like Starbucks located just beside the hotel. The staff were very friendly, serving us with sweet smiles. Worth a night stay for a relaxing private hot spring bath.

It's very close to Xinbeitou station. The staff have limited English but you can understand by their sweet gesture and smiles. You can fill your bathtub with the water from the hot spring. The breakfast was OK. But I don't get that when you went outside, you need to give your room key to the front desk.

Wonderful location in the Bai Tou Hot Spring valley. Great room with sauna and biiiiig tub that can be fillled with normal water or hot spring water. Interior a bit dated and air condition had some difficulties to cope with the hot outside temperature - but eventually cooled down to comfortable.

Each room comes with a hot spring tub but it does not look as nice as shown in their website. However, you may enjoy your privacy using the hot spring. Reasonable breakfast and good service. It is surrounded with eatery and is 2min away fom the Xinbeitou Mrt.
It will be a good choice if you intend to hike the Yang Ming Shan.

We checked-in after 6.00pm as indicated. Room was clean although the design was a bit outdated. Liked the bathroom - spacious and BRIGHT (especially for those who need to wear the toric lens). The spring water was steaming hot but took some time to fill the tub. Needed to add cold water before soaking. Location wise was good. There was a Wellcome supermarket on the ground floor where you could shop for the local groceries. The breakfast served was GREAT! A good buffet line with varieties, very healthy food too. XinBeiTou MRT station was only 2 minutes' walk.

Recommended for whom take parents or children with because the location is superb! just cross the road from MRT Xinbeitou :D The hot spring in the room is great! At first I was worried about check in time is so late but I reached there at 1PM, the receptionist said the room is ready. You get what you pay for

Stayed here for one night because of their hot spring.
The hotel was easy to find and was really close to the mrt station. We've got the room with hot spring in the bathroom. Check in was smooth. They still use keys to open the doors and you have to leave the key when you leave the hotel. The room is very old fashion and not a lot of light. The room was very big. However, there was a cherry tomato behind the sofa... and there wasn't enough hooks in the washroom for towels. The water from the shower would leak out. The hot spring was fine, but it's very very hot 39-40 degrees. The price was cheap and overall the room was clean and have hot spring. Can't ask for too much

Superb! Will definitely stay again

This place is superb. Location is wonderful, near to metro and many eateries, fast food, supermart, etc.
The room is big with big big tub for spring bath.
The breakfast is good, although not many varieties, but it is consider good as I compare to many other hotels I know in Taiwan.
The staffs are extremely polite and friendly.
I will definitely recommend to friends and I will stay again in future trips to Taiwan.

Great location but really could use an update

The location is super convenient- right across the street from the MTR station. However, the rooms and common area are really heavily used (the rooms are rented out as spa rooms during the day) so they are dated and carpet is dirty. The check in time is 7pm, luckily the hotel offers luggage storage. The breakfast is decent.

Overall a very disappointing hotel, room is small and old, no windows, no fridge, no safe, dirty floor, dirty wall, bed hard as a rock, check in at 7pm! I arrived at 2ish, they won't let me check in because they will rent the room out \"hourly\" for other guest until 7pm... will never ever visit again even if it's free.

And it's really those two things you're paying for here. The room itself is a bit outdated, and the hotel is very basic. But the tub is absolutely amazing. Soft stone tiles & really large, with a separate faucet for water directly from the springs.

Location is really convenient - located right near food & grocery options, and just around the corner from Xinbeitou Station. It's also at the base of Beitou Park, which is a very nice stroll, and just a kilometer or so from Thermal Valley.

Great place to explore Taipei from while taking it easy with some amazing nature.

Well located with very friendly service.

The location was terrific. It was located almost directly across from the Beitou Springs Park entrance nearest the Xinbeitou metro station. There were many restaurants and convenience stores nearby for food. Also, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful; however, the room's air conditioner wasn't very effective and the time-of-day restrictions to the use of the laundry facility made it almost impossible to use the service. Additionally, there is no airport shuttle from the hotel. The hotel has an arrangement with a taxi service for a flat fee of 1,000 NTD (when travelling to TPE airport). This is a competitive price for a taxi from the city to TPE. Let the hotel know when arriving that you need a taxi and they will arrange your pick-up from the hotel. It's important to know that you can pay for the taxi in cash or with a credit card. Most of the businesses in the city do not accept CCs. I'd also suggest calling the verify your check in time. My check in time was slated for 7pm but I was able to check in when arriving to drop off my luggage at 5:30pm with no trouble.
