Hotel Royal Beitou was great. Before booking, I didn’t realize the hotel was centered around “health.” The facilities and staff were great. I also liked having a private onsen. The hotel was very walkable and extremely close to the Xinbeitou station. There’s also lots of good food nearby - we walked to the Michelin rated Moon Moon Food.
One issue is that they offered some classes such as yoga and massage ball therapy. They were just okay if that. The classes were only 30 minutes, which felt short. The yoga was also a bit strange as it was called “potions yoga” where you hold a cup of juice and stretch with it. While my mom was entertained, the yoga practice was not challenging for her. Additionally, the gym consisted of a ping pong table, an elliptical, and two treadmills we couldn’t use because they were broken.

The place was clean and luxurious and we had a view looking toward the mountains which was so nice from the in room tub. Overall, we enjoyed our time and felt like it was clean and in a convenient location that worked for us (in front of the xinbeitou mrt).
The tub in the room had a weird, super loud draining noise, like need to cover ears, screeching high.

We wished that our toddler could soak or put his feet into the pools on the 12th floor but it was not allowed (not just not recommended). We ended up at the free foot spa location, but we paid to be at the hotel so that was a disappointment that wasn't clearly stated anywhere.

Location is great, right outside the train station . Loved the private bath in the hotel room. Also liked the public spa and hot spring. Wished the opening times were 24 hours though. The reception area on level 6 is not so appealing. Would prefer the reception area on the ground floor. I had the dinner and breakfast included. I expected Japanese dinner but instead it was western which was okay. Loved the breakfast buffet, it was so high quality. I would stayed again.

The hotel is just directly opposite XinBeitou metro station which is easily accessible by public transport. Around the hotel there are many eateries and two supermarkets which is convenient. In terms of facilities, the hotel has hot spring in the room, TV, aircon and comfortable bed, nice slippers in a big room. There are many wellness programmes arranged by the hotel and the breakfast provided is also very delicious with plenty of choices. It was great. We arrived at the hotel at 8:00 am straight fro our 13 hour flight from the USA. The check in time was three and our room was not ready. We left our bags and went to check the area out. We returned around 11am and found that the hotel staff, knowing our flight status, had expedited our room and we could check in early at no additional cost. The general use hot spring and hydro treatment pool area were first class. Great hotel with excellent staff. very good location by MRT and park.

Beautiful Beitou
Hotel was opposite the train station. The check-in was swift and staff took us to our room and explained what's in the room. We we given complimentary flip flops and water flasks. Breakfast was healthy with lots of fruits and veg. To the left of hotel 5 mins walk to the hot stream garden. A further 10 min walk to the thermal valley which is worth the walk as it's beautiful and mystical. Ti the right of the hotel are lots of shops and eateries. It leads to the night market. Enjoyed the stay very much and love to come back to rejuvenate our body. Thanks :)

The local tour offered by the hotel was quite interesting, the hotel tour guide Janette who escorted me was friendly and cheerful.
The overall service was just ok, I will stay at a international brand hotel in the city for paying such room rate next time. Found a small cockroach by the TV station late in the evening. What a terrible experience!

We were travelling with infant, and the hotel provided a bottle sanitiser without prompting which was very handy. The staff also kindly gave us an additional hour to the 11am checkout which was really much appreciated on the day. Cannot fault and would highly reccomend.

LUXURY HOT SPINGS GET-AWAY
This hotel checked all my boxes for luxury. Its conveniently located accross the the street from the MRT but has rooms that face the mountain. Check is a lat 3pm but the friendly, English-speaking staff kept my luggage and allowed me to store my passport in the room safe while I toured the hot spring attractions. The room and deep-soaking tub are huge and the bed was very comfortable. Added bonuses and daily replenished fruits and a free lounge and communal tubs. The breakfast is tasty and a mixed buffet/a la carte with many choices - never left hungry. I have already recommended this place to US and Taiwanese friends.

Hotel Royal Beitou is situated just steps from the MRT New Beitou station. The hotel staff is young but well trained -- all smiling and eager to help. Two beautiful designer chairs are good for you to enjoy free and special snacks (walnuts, almond, raisin, sweet potato, desserts). Even fresh mint leaves are given for adding to the hot tea. There are water boiling machine and coffee making machine in the room. King size bed is really really comfortable. Private hot spring, relax. Bath and toilet areas are seperated. 11/F lounge to enjoy free coffee and cookies. Lots of activities like yoga, body check, etc can be joined with no charge. But i haven't joined any because i arrived too late and i actually didn't know before. Must join next time. Excellent semi-buffet breakfast. Although choices are not variety, food are delicious. Don't know why expedia.com has no selection for package with two meals (both breakfast and dinner). Will come again.

It was the most wonderful two day stay I have ever had at a hotel and I can't say the same for the American hotel of the same caliber the service is just unmatched. I would have to say that if all the American hotels are like this I would stay for a week or more. The only tiny pet peeve I have is the fact I had to rebook my spa massage over three times to the tune of third being so close to my check out time that they have to extend it. I just wish they work out their schedule better and being this overbook you might make some guest that really needed this service angry about being push off the schedule so much times. They need to 1.increase their staff 2. get a better booking system and 3. warn people about how much people are booking that day.

Hotel Royal Beitou is conveniently located right outside the train station. The hotel is very well equipped and has an interesting program that promotes the well being of the guests. The programs are free and we joined the meditation class, morning walking guides around the Beitou park and also the spinning class. Hotspring water is provided in the room and is convenient for people who do not want to use the shared hotspring. Indoor shared hotspring area is well equipped with sauna & steam room as well, but the hotspring bath is small with no view, due to the hotel's location. There is also a shared gender jacuzzi pool. Buffet breakfast also offer interesting food options which are consistent with the health promotion concept of the hotel. Lastly, staff are well trained and exhibits excellent customer service.
