Extremely kind and friendly staff at the front desk. Breakfast menu was small but was sufficient enough to have a meal set option of Chinese or Western food.
We got the Love Suite and it was more than enough space for a couple. The room had an amazing Mountain View and a private spa bath overlooking the outside views.
Hotel location is fairly close to all the BeiTou attractions. Love the free shuttle service between the hotel and the nearest subway station. Will most definitely book here again!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff were all very kind welcoming and excellent. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The bed was very comfortable. I loved having a private onsen and was surprised by the healthful effects of the hot spring water. There are nearby hiking trails. On a rainy day I took the free shuttle to the metro station and visited the excellent museums in Taipei. I would love to visit again for a longer stay.

We booked forever suite with mountain view, but the room they put us in didnt have mountain view, we called, the lady at front desk said that room has it, but was dark (night time), so we couldnt see it. i called back letting them know there's no way it has the view, because outside the window it was apartment buildings and streets, that was when they said they upgraded our room without extra charge, becasuse we asked for an extra bed, and since i didnt specifically note i wanted mountain view, they didnt think it was a big deal. I dont like the fact that i had to call them back for them to tell me what actually happened, plus the description of the room already says mountain view, so why would i specifically note i wanted mountain view?
Thry ended up giving us the room we booked, we did have view of the mountain, but most of the view was apartment buildings, the wall of the hotel, and their interior landscaping. To call it mountain view is bit of a stretch. The TV is broken, the AC started spitting out ice in the middle of the night.
Staff is friendly, the interior design but the furniture is dated. The bedding is comfortable.

I had come to the hotel thinking that an additional bed could be requested on-site, but realised such requests needed to be put up earlier. However after my initial disappointment , I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Andy, the manager, who told me he can't promise anything but will try to do his best to see if the additional bed could still be arranged. It ultimately came thankfully. 🙏 Their breakfast was better than expected , and I would rate Asian dishes a high 8 . Their service staff were very helpful with our other requests and even changed our room because of wifi issues that night. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Only con: distance of the hotel from main road is a little far , even with the short- cut but the shuttle- on- demand service made up for that. And so, a more peaceful stay in return.

We loved the friendly staff. Service was great. The location is within 15 mins walk to the city where restaurants, stores and transportation can be found. The hotel grounds and rooms are kept clean. The only thing they could make better is to repair the wall plaster peeling off from the outdoor shower that was in our room. The indoor shower was fine. Plus our room had a hot tub that you could choose to have water from the hot springs or regular tap water. They served us the complementary breakfast at in our room. It was great.

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. They arranged a free shuttle service every time we went out, and the car came promptly.

The only downside to our stay was the cleanliness of the property itself. The vent for the AC in our room was caked with dust, and it looked like it had not been cleaned for a while. The same goes for the vent in the elevator. The bath towel was also dusty.

Also, remember to bring your own pajamas as the hotel does not provide a bathrobe or night gown.

Nice little get away.

The staff was very friendly and very quick to help with anything. The shuttle was very handy and they were quick to call the car for us. I personally didn't enjoy the breakfast, but my husband was into the waffle maker. The hotel was a little off the beaten path but it was nice, we had a lovely sunset view and enjoyed the spa tub. The water was hot but not as pungent or as milky as we expected (perhaps perfect for those who don't want the stronger smell). The room was really cute, I loved all the wood and the design but as mention by others, more pictures on the site would be nice. It's a little more rundown than the pictures indicate. I should have taken pictures but I didn't think of it. Overall we enjoyed our stay (we were in the love suit).

A Good Break @ This Hot Spring Hotel

There were quite a number of mixed reviews on this hotel but my stay was quite a pleasant one. Other than the fact that the tiles from the hot spring area was a little old, the room was pretty clean and comfortable. Service was good and the shuttle bus service was very useful for guests whom did not drive. The sauna in the room was not working but they did offer us a change of the room just that we were all settled in and were too lazy to change. Other than that it was quite a nice stay.

Beautiful room with a light and clean feeling perfect for relaxing. The room has a wall of windows that can be opened while soaking in the hot spring tub, and glass doors to separate the tub area from the bedroom. The bed is huge and has a large electric blanket covering the matress which makes it so comfortable. The flatscreen tv is enormous. Most importantly, there are professional make your own Belgian waffles at breakfast.

Hotel Double One is also under Leader's Hotel. I think they are under the same umbrella of companies.

The hotel staff as usual was pleasant and informative. There was a free transport to and fro the city centre. Location was slightly further then town, I specifically wanted a place slightly quieter.

We were given rooms in the basement. I didn't like that at all. Bathrooms and hot spring tub looks in need of revamp. The rest of the rooms are quite okay. I would not recommend people to stay again.

The room was extremely comfortable and of high standard. The in-room hot spring bath offered unmatched privacy and a chance to take soak in the water as much as you would like to, without having to go to the public paths or book expensive individual private sessions. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodative. They even drove me to the town to get some take-outs and then back at 9pm. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Bentou.

The area is amazing. The hotel provides free shuttle transport between New Beitou station (an short one stop extension of Beitou station), and the hotel on demand from 9 to 9 daily. Just call the hotel and the car will arrive within 10 min. This service was not advertised but should be mentioned.
The room comes with sauna and hot tub. However it takes a couple hours to fill. So fill the tub when you checked into the room and take a couple hours to visit the town and you will have a hot tub when you get back.
The facility is a bit aged but overall it is still pretty ok. The people in Beitou is super friendly.

The overall stay is good but the hotel is a bit run down, need to be refurbished. The tray used to place the toiletries is rusty and the wall paint is old. The front deak staff is friendly but the staff working in the breakfast area lack of some smile on their face. But overall the stay was good and the breakfast is not bad. One thing to add on is that the staff place some Birthday deco in the room as it is my partner Birthday which is a plus point.

Don’t choose the basement rooms

What I don’t like about was the dark gloomy feeling of the basement rooms. It doesn’t have the airy and bright feel shown in the photos. There was rusty parts and mouldy areas in some parts of the room and it really need a good clean up and renovation. What made it a little better was the cheerful and friendly staff.

I had a below-ground room -- so this may not hold for other floors -- but the room was huge, with a huge hot-spring fed tub, both an indoor and an outdoor shower, and an in-room sauna. Despite being below ground level, the outdoor shower and room window both opened into small atrium-like openings allowing outside light in and providing an open, airy feeling. Over-all the hotel design is excellent, though wear-and-tear suggests it is not very new.

Apart from the friendly staff, the room condition & cleanliness is in a status of \" \"Rundown\", not only the hot spring tub was filthy the toilet tiles were stuck with dirt. I booked for the \"Love Suite\" and will not be recommending or coming back to stay. The hotel was also a challenge to find, for the amount of money ypu are planning to pay for this stay in this hotel, go book another.

It was great to have both hot spring bath tub and sauna. In my case, the view from the bathtub was not good. Breakfast was not bad. Staff are kind and friendly. It is good to take advantage of the hotel shuttle from/to Xinbeitou station, where you can find restaurants and shops, especially if you have a large luggage, because it is a 20-minute walk on the hillside.

Make sure your room is not in the basement

Our room is in the basement, which was not clear in the original description (or I would not have booked it). The hotel only had partial renovation. The tiles of the bathtub are old and some of them came loose. The cleanliness needs some work especially at the corners and shower. Bed is comfy and breakfast has many options. People worked there are very helpful but the overall facility really needs a facelift to make it worth the cost.

This is a high CP value hot spring hotel near new Beitou metro station with free shuttle service upon request during 9:00am to 9:00pm. Only \"Forever\" and \"Only\" suites provide private sauna and hot spring tub. All other rooms are equipped with hot spring tub.

The hotel provided free shuttle service to and from XinBeitou station. When you arrive at the station, there's pay phone available to call the hotel. The free shuttle service runs to 9pm on weekdays (not sure about weekends) when I stayed there in December, 2017. I stayed on the third floor and the gated sliding panels by the window-side tub are a bit tricky to operate (if you find that they are stuck, the lock could be down or the sliders for the netted windows are loose). Lovely view in room 306. Comfortable bed. The front desk staff Zoey was super helpful and even drove me to Beitou Station so I'd need to make one less transfer to the airport line.

Good hot spring hotel. Definitely a relaxing area.

We stayed here on a Friday night. A walk from XinBeiTou MRT Station took around 20 mins, but the hotel also offers free shuttle services if you require. The hotel is set in a quiet location, and is very peaceful (apart from the guests staying there, which isn't really the fault of the hotel). The hot spring tub was the reason we came here, to escape the 'city life' for a night at the end of a busy week. The tub was big enough for two and was located on the balcony of our 2nd Floor room. The room inside was fairly clean, which we were happy with.The TV channels were a little grainy with it being next to the mountains, I guess.

We would stay again.
