The staff was courteous. The room was in good condition except the A/C /heater system. The room was very cold when we entered. It was tricky to find how to turn on the heater. Once we got the heater on, it smelled like a bunch of smoke blew into the room, probably a bunch of accumulated lint.

Rooms were clean, staff great. But parking was a nightmare! Could not find a place to park. Too many containers in back, and parking in front, you had to wait for a car that's using the gym or yoga to leave so you can use a spot. And not sure why I was charged for parking when I had to park in a general parking lot away from the property. Not happy about that.

The hotel lobby was under construction. Entrance was awkward. Our room smelled of wet concrete all night. The breakfast was served from a "suite" room and was pretty sub standard.

There was construction in the lobby and office that was not that I was not notified about prior to booking. There was no 24-hour coffee and it was cold breakfast by 8:00 a.m. The construction crew working on the property took up all the available parking spots and the employees had an overall negativ approach to everything. We cut our seven night stay down to two nights.

Found the bed too soft and was surprised by the almost $17 a night parking fee - that was not specified in description- it just stated parking and I realize agreement says they can charge for extras but should be stated in description. Wifi didn't work. Required getting a call from some third party service to get it to work. They charge for parking, which is ridiculous considering the area and that I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member. The rooms are better than they were when I last stayed there prior to a renovation, but the bathroom / closet format isn't great. Parking isn't easy, especially if you want to park once when you're checking in. The coffee at breakfast was not good. It's fine but not the best mid-level hotel in the area. I like having a kitchenette but didn't stay long enough to get much use out of it, although I did notice that the handles to the cabinets need a major wipedown. Pretty gross. The hallways are a little depressing. A reno can only do so much sometimes. But it was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable, and I liked the desk space.

The room was clean and the in-room kitchen was very well-equipped with full sized appliances, dishes, utensils, and even a small sponge and bottle of dishwashing liquid. They thought of everything. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were even able to grill steaks and corn on the outdoor grill by the pool.

A nice little hotel for a quick trip to Thousand Oaks. Front Desk was helpful, unfortunately we had to deal with them too often as there was no sheets on the beds when we got there, and when getting a second pass for a family member we were told that we din't need to pay for the parking pass, although I already had. So that was strange. And even though it is a non smoking motel, the halway stank of Smoke very bad.

The room was nice but it was not clean. There was residue on the "clean" dishes so I had to wash them before using. There was goop on the microwave buttons and light switches and a used kleenex between the bed and night stand.

Took my family on a trip and this was perfect! We had the right amount of beds and room separation for everyone to sleep well even on a trip. The kitchenette that I expected surpassed my expectations because it was in fact a full kitchen with supplies. I don’t know if I can go back to a single room with multiple beds again. This was great!
