A lovely stop over with our dog. Room was fine and bed comfy. Ensuite bathroom was also fine and clean. Food in the pub was good and fresh especially the breakfast.
Dog given a sausage which he was very greatful for.
A perfect stop over in a peaceful location

Room was pleasant but was not serviced on second day. Cooked breakfast was reasonable but there was no cereal to start with nor toast and jam to follow. One cup of cofee only which was served 30 minutes before the cooked meal arrived on the second day. Mains were good but starters and sweet menu was limited and fairly expensive. Overall we were not unhappy but would not have wanted to stay for a third night and would be question if we would use this chain again if this is typical of all their venues.

8am for breakfast.

My only grumble is breakfast dose not start until 8 this is to late.
This is becoming a bit of a thing since Covid not just this Hotel. Charge for breakfast in the room price and then it starts when you have to be at work.
Have a separate charge that can be added on arrival.

The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The food was fantastic and the open fire sumptuous. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfy. Dogs were welcome in all areas and he had a great time. Thanks for the great experience.

We were attending a funeral in Wells at 2 pm, we'd travelled for 5 hours and thley kindly arranged the room to be ready at 12.30 so we could change.
The room was lovely and clean,there were complementary drinks besides tea and coffee. Only a small choice for breakfat, which was fine with us, even offered a plant option. We ate in their restaurant one evening and again was lovely. The manager and staff were all helpful. We only stayed for a couple of nights, but we would definitely stay again.

We stayed for one night before a wedding and the room was cosy and spotless! Bed was super comfy and the staff were kind enough to give us bacon baps after service closed so we could have them for our breakfast as we had to leave super early and miss out! Really lovely place. We will be back to try the food!

A fantastic little jem.

We stayed to visit friends nearby and found our room clean, bright, airy and very comfortable. The included breakfast in the morning was a delight with plenty of options. Customer service was spot-on too, I mistakenly left an item of property in my room which was posted on to me which was greatly appreciated. Without hesitation we would stay there again.

Lovely place to stay and amazing food!

I stayed overnight as a friend was getting married at Coombe Lodge nearby. The pub is nicely don't out and feels clean and fresh - as does the room I stayed in. Just recently refurbished it's clean and bright and feels very cosy.
Stewart the manager is very friendly as were the rest of the staff I dealt with which helped me feel 'at home' whilst there. Will definitely be staying again when I'm next in the area 👍
PS - best English breakfast I've eaten to date!

We stayed for 2 nights, 2 adults and a child. Very leasant experience, staff was very helpful and went well out of their way. We has child with special dietary needs and they accomodate is very well. Great location for many attractions. Definitely wil stay there again. Keep up your great work and thank you!

Evening meal very reasonable but the food was superb.

If you have the complimentary breakfast, make sure you're hungry. Quality breakfast and LOADS of it. Looking forward to staying again.

Rooms noisy as a Ring O Bells!

Outside looked very shabby on arrival,
Good olde world pub interior.
Good choice of beers and ciders.
Service efficient, but not particularly friendly as you would expect.

Few customers but food seemed popular (Only eating place in village)
Quite expensive (Burger £12)
Room excellent and clean.
Paper thin walls... could almost hear them breathing!
Good Wifi provided.
Difficulty getting cell signal and sat-nav in car.
Had to leave at 7.30 for flight, so too early for breakfast? (ended up with a single sandwich and a packet of crisps... not exactly the English cooked breakfast I was looking forward to.

Lovely cosy pub inn.

Really lovely room, very clean and well equipped.

The food was lovely and so were the staff. I really enjoyed my stay here and felt very welcomed.

My only note is that it says check-in from 2pm
But I arrived at 1730 and it was locked and said it didn’t open until 1800. Not the end of the world but the phone number that hotels.com emails you is also wrong. These are minor things as the overall stay was lovely and I hope I will return!

Really pleasant stay for 1 evening at the Ring O Bells. Nice Pub with lots of Character, looks like it would be lovely in the summer with large attractive garden.
Lots of parking space and very good breakfast.
Comfortable room, very comfortable bed, slept very well.

Only negatives which are not really negatives room was cold when we first went in as heating had not been turned on. Soon warmed up. There was a breakfast order form in the room but did not see any other local information in the room. Not a problem for us but might be helpful for future guests.

Lovely Pub, lovely area. Would book again.

Room cold on arrival, however warmed fairly quickly once heaters switched on. Access path leading to accommodation not well illuminated in the dark with a couple of steps outside the room door. Room spacious enough and clean as was the en suite. Sufficient tea, coffee and milk in the room. Hearty breakfast was served in the morning by pleasant polite team of staff.

We liked everything about this. The staff were great, the room pretty large and very quiet, and the restaurant for dinner was excellent. When we missed breakfast due to having to catch a flight, they prepared a magnificent packed lunch.
