Since staying ive started to get spam mail and phishing again. I'm really careful about giving out my email. So its either expedia or the parking. Either way i wont be booking again. Also they had no zero alcohol beer options. just sold out of all except cider so had water instead. Poor. Breakfast was ok ish. Back to Premier for me I'm afraid. Also heating didn't work so used a plug in. bathroom was freezing had to stand plug in heater part way into bathroom to make it useable. just a bit dangerous, also no shelving in bathroom, that's weird. just balanced everything in and around the basin!

The first room clearly had not been hoovered with food on the floor and the second room had not been cleaned properly either. Sticky table, glass rings on the night stand, hair in the bathroom and coffee drips on the coffee area. It's a shame as the room looked nice.

Had a fantastic stay. Hotel is very clean & lovely staff. Everyone from manager/reception/breakfast & cleaning staff - everyone spoke, although often think you get back what you offer. We always speak & express our thanks to all members of staff. Great position for walking into city centre. Have to pay to park car but expected this being in city centre & area felt safe so no worry’s leaving car.

Great quiet room lots of space and very clean , Exeter is lovely with great transport links , stunning architecture and id say the best 'spoons in the UK ' the Imperial' . Theres a swimming pool a 5 min walk away from hotel , staff very polite and helpful. Good coffee at brekky, food not great but was a great rate for the room.

Good buffet breakfast although overcrowded at peak times with a queue to get in to the restaurant. Local car park gets full but there is another just down Tudor Street with plenty of spaces available.

3 dodgy guys smoking outside entrance so unease and a fog of smoke was first impression.

I spent two nights in this hotel along with three ex colleagues, all of us in our seventies. We each had our own room and the hotel put the rooms close together. From the time we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Probably the most friendly and helpful reception I have come across in a long time.
We were all happy with our modern clean rooms. These hotels are not meant for long stays having no safe, cupboards or drawers. There is a wardrobe hanging space though and a table and sofa. The bathroom is superb. Excellent walk in efficient shower with Dove Shampoo and shower gel. I never use hotel products usually ,but the shower gel was lovely. Dove soap by the modern sink too. The bathroom lighting is first class.
The bed was comfortable with a choice of hard or soft pillows. The soft pillow was not soft however, not by my definition anyway, but for a couple of nights I managed!
The breakfast room is light and airy and there was everything needed for a satisfying breakfast. We visited the Cathedral on our last morning, checked out early and reception looked after our bags.
For info, we had arrived at Exeter St David’s Station and used an Apple Taxi, with its office at the station, it seems to be the taxi of choice. It is certainly cheap, it cost just £8 to take the four of us to the hotel and the same on our return!

It was ok for one night. The room was small. Drinks were expensive. Parking overnight was also expensive at £16 a night. However reception staff were approachable and helpfull, cleanliness was good and the breakfast good.

Booked just a couple of hours ahead post a week in Cornwall and wanting to see Exeter before heading home Sunday. Great location and handy for stations, the quayside area and shops. We saw the cathedral and visited the super underground passages. Also took the train to Exmouth. Breakfast was included but was SO busy and queues were v long. Staff worked hard managing this v professionally but I felt for them as it simply was chaotic! Ok quality though but I prefer no dogs in the dining area even if they are staying in the hotel. One was barking :(
We didn’t realise we had to pay for parking - £16 for a 24 hour stay - no guarantee of a spot either but we were lucky but bear that in mind. Air con was good on a hot night.

Clean hotel, unfortunately the dining area is far too small when the hotel is busy. Although a dog friendly hotel, you are asked to sit in a specific area and if it's busy, you may have to wait an hour or so, or take breakfast in your room, despite tables being available and the food area being separate from the seating area. Overall not too bad price wise, by the time you add on parking and the pet. We stayed for 4 nights in the May holidays, worked out around £100/night. Staff were friendly and attentive.
