Not Cheap,..not stylish, 'just expensive.

It is an average, hotel with expensive, rates, The water tap from the sink, we could not close it...very hard.

The noise from the cars passing by,.. was bit annoying.

The fridge, looks like been in Ukraine,..broken cabinets, and no holders on the door.

Bus stop right outside the main entrance & when heading into the city the stop is only a 2 min walk on the opposite side, so very easy getting to & from hotel.
Property is on a very busy main road, so can be noisy.

Water dripped from ceiling

Terrible. Water dripped from ceiling above dinning / setting area after heavy rain at 7pm. Needed to place a buckle to hold the water. No response from hote till 11:00am next morning. Response from hotel: \"no problem. if worry, change room.\" In the changed room, the lock in the bed room was broken with the handle come off.
Called Hotels.com, from online chat \"System did not allow called you back on you registered mobile phone,sorry\". No response from Hotels.com!!!!

If your on a budget - this is a winner.

Suited me well - mostly on price.
My room was close to the busy road and i was not bothered by the traffic noise - though i do live regularly on a busy road.
Late checkin arrangements worked well and owner was very friendly. Very clean room with plenty of hot water and comfy bedding.
Location is probably best if you have a car, though i did see busses running into city - probably 10mins max away. All major food takeaways within 5 mins walk as is a terrific supermarket.
Certainly recommend if you are ok with the above and note if booking on Agoda or Hotels.com you can only see this motel if you are staying 5 or more nights.

Although we were in a budget room there were a couple of things that need repaired. The wardrobe door would not slide and the handle was broken and the hooks behind the bathroom door need to be replaced as there was only one towel rack to place towel. Otherwise everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

budget close to CBD

Well located budget motel very close to city, transport and supermarkets.
Unit was quiet and off st parking available. We arrived after the reception had closed but instructions for after hours access were easy.
The Family suite apartments are 1bedroom containing a Queen bed with 2 single beds in the lounge kitchen area. Onsuite has to be accessed through the bedroom. Overall good for the price and location.

Great stay!

Beautiful and comfortable place to stay at! Kangaroos, emus and rabbits running around and cockatoos just outside. Clean enough and very accommodating. The only thing I didn’t quite like was that the girl on the reception wasn’t as friendly and welcoming in her approach.

Really convenient location

The motel is right by a bus to the city, and in a lovely area for after dinner walks. Three supermarkets are very close, and several choices for evening dining. The host was very obliging and friendly. The only downside was that the room was a bit dingy and dark, and crowded, but equally, it was a very reasonable price!

Booked the family room and location is good with a functional kitchenette. Somehow felt carpeting was dusty and kitchenette laminates flooring with sticky feeling to step on when we arrived. Overall experience was okay.

Great family value!

First impression was great, the room had a nice clean appearance and a pleasant smell. Bed was very comfy and although we took our own pillows, the pillows provided were comfortable too. My only problem was I was late booking a room and had stairs to go up, with hubby's crook knee it would have been better to have been in a ground floor.
Didn't see staff, clean towels were left in our room for second night stay.

Staff were not present on arrival or departure. Room was closet size. Clothes hanger was a rack which had the pillows and blankets balanced on the bottom framework therefore nowhere to hang clothes. Iron & kettle on floor in basket. Suitcase stand was folded in bathroom but nowhere to put it up if we wanted to use it. Very noisy front room and window glazing was not sound proof glass. I have travelled in many disadvantaged countries and have never had such poor accommodation. Absolutely disgusted

Had 5 sleepful nights, beds comfortable aircon worked well. Facilities were great with plenty of room. Only issues were shower dripped continually and O ring missing from vanity plug causing water to drain quickly.

We needed a hotel last minute for 2 adults and 3 kids. We were lucky this was available and so affordable! The place is perfect for what we needed. It could do with some modernising and some fresh paint but it's otherwise really great. The man on the desk was easy to talk to, friendly and helpful.

First room we were put in was smaller than my dogs kennel and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke which they tried to hide with a wall perfumer that was extremely overpowering. Also didn't contain amenities that were in the room description. When I complained they tried to argue that this was the room I booked and eventually moved us.
The room they moved us too was bigger but was dirty, filthy under beds.
I don't think the sheets or any bedding has ever been replaced.
Still can't understand that they believe it's ok to put people in a room that clearly smells of cigarettes.
Would not recommend and will not be staying there again.

For a group sharing this would be so cheap - as long as some don't mind sleeping on a pullout sofa. Full stove in the first unit we stayed in, gas cooktop in the second. We weren't cooking so didn't care. Would be a good place for a longer stay as we were - had a week there. It is surrounded by cheap to flash eating places. Down the road is Frewville Foodland which is like a subset of the Central Market for choice of food.- go there and play the piano in the fruit and veg section. Central to the north or south of the urban spread, and so-o-o-o-oo convenient for getting into the square mile of Adelaide. Glen Osmond Road isn't too hard to get onto or off as far as traffic density is concerned.

Couldn't Find any Staff when we reached at 8.30 Pm.It was mentioned office will be until 9.00 Pm.But accessed Room Key.BathRoom wash basin was blocked partially already.Until we left the Room couldn't find any Staff in the office.I think they haven't checked the Room before Guest arrive or the House Keeper didn't inform the office about the blockage.Anyway,it was OK for the money paid.Parking Space little Congested for large vehicles.

Room was so small we had to shuffle sideways between the bed and wardrobe. Table was actually touching the bed. There was only 2 of everything, there was 3 mature age adults staying. Towels had holes. We did not see anyone in the office the entire time we were there. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Don't let the name fool you!

Having found this venue listed as \"Adelaide City Fringe Serviced Apartments\" I was expecting (fairly logically) to find myself in a serviced apartment. Not to be, however. My room was no more than a small hotel room, with no kitchen facilities (a bar fridge and a kettle only). While this was disappointing, it was even more frustrating to come home after a long day out, wanting nothing more than to kick back and chill out, only to find that this room wasn't even serviced! No bed made, no cleaning - just a new towel, tea towel and sink wiper left on the table. At this point I was angry enough to contact the manager via email (there are no staff on-site other than the cleaner) to express my \"disappointment\" at the standard of the venue, which included comments about the traffic noise on Fullarton Road (amongst othe problems). The response from the manager included:

\"we have given you exactly what you booked and we will make you accountable for any slanderous or vexatious comments as indicated in your email\"

\"We totally disagree with your email and this is a total misrepresentation of the facts and will enact the full force of the law if you make any false representation as per your email in any format\"
and
\"your email is totally unreasonable and defamatory and we will take action if you are to publish this misrepresentation in any format \"

Not the most hospitable of responses, and I would recommend anyone wanting to pay $85 per night to stay at Country Comfort - sa

Beware - the title does not say it all

When the title of an establishment includes the words \"Serviced Apartments,\" one could reasonably expect to be staying in a serviced apartment. It wasn't until we arrived at our destination that we noticed the words, \"and Motel\" tacked onto the signage. Our room was a tiny motel room with very few of the amenities contained within the promotional material - no microwave, no free wi-fi (the promo material provides mixed messages about this), no kitchen as displayed in the photos and barely enough room to swing a cat (again, the photos are misleading). Our room also smelt of stale cigarette smoke.

That's my advise: research very well before booking! I found that the manager is unreachable, on site only during office hours, when called sounded very brisk and annoyed.
The place was close to a main road, very noisy night and day. The room was close to the entrance therefore the hotel's lights were on all the time and coming through the windows, since the curtains were not fitted properly. The room itself was clean, though smaller than we thought. The kitchen was functional, but the water tap drove us nuts as it would not stop leaking unless tight really hard. The most disappointing was the bathroom, so tiny you could not sit without banging your knees against the sink. The shower leaked too. It had the cheapest toilet paper I've ever seen.
The heater was good as the small room heated up really quickly, but it was quite noisy. The beds were comfortable and the covers very warm.

This hotel is very simple and perfect for a couple of nights if you aren't going to spend much time in your room. It was clean and comfortable but the rooms are a little small. Friendly staff who were happy to come back in the evening after I had locked myself out.

You get what you pay for or some times a less

Prepaid through Wotif no problem. No staff at Motel for the 3 day stay, all communication done by after hour phone beside the office. Very little hot water pressure in upstairs 1 bed unit. Window frame broken so had no security had to patch it up myself as there was no staff around to have it repaired. Other customers also looking for staff and amazed that there was no one. Parking an issue as my tray back falcon ute was too long for parking space blocking access for other vehicles. Do not recommend.

When we arrived we were shown to an awful bedsit, right on the main road. Cracks in walls, no natural light, pretty awful. A man cleaning the units phoned someone, and for another $25pm (cash) we were put in a much nicer room with separate bedroom. I wouldn't stay again, but if you came prepared for a cheap, clean basic unit it would be fine.

We have stayed in several motor hotels with a similar format and this was the worst. It was clean but that's all we can say that is good about it. No one at the desk when we arrived at 7:00pm. Room was old & tired with basic used furniture crowded in the room and dated and worn decor. The price was high for what was provided. If priced at $60.00 it would be expected.

A self contained room had everything we needed, was clean and reasonably priced for us as a family :)

Didn't have any face to face contact with staff at check-in. All done via a phone on the wall. Did see people cleaning/changing linen, owners/cleaners? Never seen anyone at the desk, reception was locked.
