It was very dirty. The only good thing was the cleaning lady that was lovely and the front desk worker was nice. The place doesn’t look like the photos. It was in a bad area. The bed was uncomfortable, the rooms were old. Won’t stay there again. Had no laundry when their website say they do. Door latch was dodgy and felt unsafe.

The room provided was small, with an awkward and small bathroom (smaller than a studio's bathroom). There was little road noise, but the noise of inconsiderate guests chatting away after midnight was disruptive. Also, a queen bed isn't the same length as two double beds attached. If there's nothing else, then maybe consider staying here. Otherwise give it a miss.

It was close to our appointment with specialist but was very noisy in room with traffic and could hear all the noise from rooms from either side not enough sound proofing between rooms. The cleaning was not up to scratch floors dirty. The bathroom was VERY small having to use toilet was difficult. Will not be staying at this place again.

The room was in the middle of being painted and there was fresh patches unsanded on the walls which they had attempted to cover the smell of with half a can of glen 20. Out of 6 lights in the room only one worked, the bed was free rolling around the room when we touched it. The door had so much of a gap around it that the cold air was rushing in and when I tried to speak to the person on duty they were very dismissive and said I could call on Monday at 9 to speak to the manager And that they Sērenes aware of the problems but they didn’t offer any further help

I didnt like the way you gave the wtong price. Expedia also put down the wrong date even though it initially came up with the date we wanted. It was after we booked the accomodation we recieved an itinery with the wrong dates, so we cancelled.

Noisy area/older place and relatively clean/air con kept turning off and approached management but it was my fault seemingly. No washing machines to use, cleaner had to do it for you. $15 a load. No cutlery or plates.

Ease of location, parking availability
The only negative which is minor I had I had to change rooms as I was booked into an upstairs deluxe single room able to change to a ground floor room but it definitely in my opinion was not the deluxe single room which was pictured on the site
The manager was very polite and helpful in changing the room but I was a little disappointed with the bathroom facilities and only a double bed which was clean and comfortable other than very happy with the motel

Reception hospitality fantastic, couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and comforting experience.
The rooms were tiny and the bathrooms were in corners that even a small child would struggle to fit into. Loud banging on the roof of one nights stay which kept us awake most of the night, other guests allowing their children to run up and down the pathway upstairs and making loud noises and banging of doors from other guests coming and going. Every time a truck passed the motel the room would shake.

Disappointing bed and bathroom. Take earplugs!!!!!

Arrived at welcome Inn at 5.30pm, after check in, found room still being cleaned.
Night 1 terrible sleep due to banana shaped mattress, so bent on waking my back and neck ached.
Night 2 moved to single bed also in room ripped off bedding and slept with my head at the foot end. This seemed the better end.
Bathroom-tiny. Shower good with shampoo conditioner and body wash in pumps on wall. Washed my hair one squirt of conditioner and bottle was out.
Going to the toilet, so close to the basin my head almost touched it, you have to reverse your behind in to use the toilet because there is so little room. Getting up each time resulted in hitting my left arm on the basin. Fridge, microwave, no cutlery or plates. Would NOT return.
Lastly its on a main road with traffic lights out front. Trucks and loud cars heard all night stopping and on take off. Take earplugs!!! Room and curtains smelled of cigarettes.

Stayed for 4 days inconsistent in replacing bathroom towel sor shower mat. Property although at least 45years old still needs some fixing, no toaster provided although you can ask. No cutlery or plates provided if you want to make own breakfast. Reasonable pricing but very basic.

Welcome Inn 277 was very welcoming. I was late arriving and the staff rang me twice to confirm that I was still arriving that night and to confirm the time the office was open till. The unit itself was quiet, exceptionally clean and with a wonderful hot shower. The only thing to comment on was that although grateful for the use of a toaster, there was no plate or knives (although there were teaspoons) to take advantage of the inclusion. Other than that I was grateful I could purchase a 5Ltr container of water upon arrival from the office. The 'Inn' is close to all amenities. Although located on a busy road, I slept well as it was not too noisy. Thank you to Management and staff. K. Brisbane.

Couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room. The manager was very helpful and friendly. They do not supply hand towels or face cloths any more as apparently people steal them. Servicing of the room was a bit hit and miss, cleaning done well but I had to go over twice to the office to get towels as they had been forgotten and also to get coffee mugs. I would still recommend it as it was handy to good restaurants and easy access to town.

We were not happy with the room.
The bathroom was the size of a toilet room, with toilet in with shower and handbasin.
When you shut the door, you hit the handbasin. No room to dry yourself after shower.
Booked for 3 . No room to move in room.
Have booked a lot of motels in adelaide and not fussy people, but this one was very tiny.

Had a choice of rooms upstairs or ground floor. I chose the latter not a good choice the bathroom was size of a cubicle you had to have the door open or you could not fit in. Basin plug was faulty water would not stay in basin. The hot water from the shower fluctuated from hot to cold and if you turned on the cold water tap along with hot water tap the shower was barely luke warm. Staff were friendly the room rather than tired but c clean.

when I arrived I walked into the office and there was a man who was doing some paperwork and did not even look at me or acknowledge me. After 3 or 4 minutes of this person doing this paperwork he then asked for my name and my drivers licence which I provided, he then photocopied my drivers licence without my approval. I made my feelings known and he just shrugged his shoulders in an I don't care attitude. I then went to my room and was constantly disturbed by very young children running up and down the walkway yelling and screaming, this was at approx 21.00 no one from management was available to ask them to quieten down. When I went to drop the key back at the office there was no one there at 09.30 in the morning and then I found the key drop box on the outside of the building, all in all a terrible experience and a place I will not use ever again

I had booked adjoining rooms at the Welcome Inn 277 for one night ; for 4 adults & 1 child. Bright, friendly greeting at the office, very clean & comfortable beds & rooms. Bathrooms, while very clean; were a tad small. Great value overall & I can’t speak highly enough about the manager.

Basic old motel. We stayed 3 nights as it was a convenient location but would not stay again. Towels not replaced each day, coffee or milk. You hear the rooms either side shower, and their noisy split systems if they run it all night. We turned ours off due to noise. Neighbours car headlights shine straight into your room. Was woken at 2am by this. Ensuite tiny, can not towel off in it so need to stand in bedroom and I am a small person. Hard to pump out soap from the dispensers so used our own. Pillows related to large hard rocks. Have stayed in old hotels before and rated them high, but this one is a miss.

I needed to stay in Adelaide for business and while the room was basic it was clean and comfortable, which was all I really wanted at a budget motel,
The \"free wifi internet\" was woeful however and didn't seem to be getting fixed. The manager, I assume wife, and also other staff all freely admitted \"yes there is a problem but boss has to get it fixed\". It was blamed on too many people using it or other stuff. The fact the office was having problems too points to a bad internet service. It was out for minutes at a time then working for 30 seconds, then failing again the whole time. Devices connected to either main wifi router or the extra coverage unit ok but the internet kept cutting in and out, most of the time bringing up the modem has failed info page.
Noise from the local Glen Osmond road was minimal and I got used to that after 2 days.
Location was good for Adelaide eastern or hills suburbs access which is what i needed.
With a good reliable internet it could be an excellent budget destination.

Convenient for our purposes

We had a 21st party that side of town, and took my mother so we wanted an apartment, there are not too many around that area. We found that there was a multi room villa at the Welcome Inn, so snapped it up.
There was plenty of room for the 3 three of us, 2 toilets which is always handy, comfortable beds and clean.
I would suggest though that a little bit of time be spent tidying up the garden, everything was overgrown and as it had been raining we got wet having to push pass the overgrown shrubs. The outdoor area out the back also needed a bit of a tidy up.
Some general maintenance is also required, the shower door knob needs to be better secured, some of the lights didn't work - in the lounge, and extractor fan over the stove (light). Because we were not there long it didn't really bother us, but a family staying and using all the facilities would have been a bit put out - overall though it was comfortable and convenient, we would stay there again.

We found it to be quite comfortable with the city close by public transport was nearby. What we felt it lacked was the ability to open windows as we are used to at home. The bathroom needs a bit of upgrading as the water did not drain out of the shower stall completely. The staff in check-in and cleaning were very affable and welcoming and easy to talk to.

Lovely suburban motel couple of k's from Adelaide

The Welcome Inn in Glen Osmond, SA is a fabulous motel just 2-3 kilometres away from the city of Adelaide, and is close to Adelaide Hills.
Great infrastructure to the city and Mount Barker, Hahndorf, Stirling and other lovely towns in the Hills-perhaps the only drawback are the odd road train and Holden V8 (I love them) thundering past at night.
The manageress was friendly and very helpful, and the cleaning staff very courteous and efficient; the room was very clean and habitable-the motel is frequented by Australian patrons (families, businessmen etc, and I get on with them), and is recommended to anyone who is more socio-culturally au fait with Australia like me, and wish to dodge foreign touristy areas.
There is a Woolworths and a Foodland about 1 klick away, and heaps of restaurants in town.
Glen Osmond is a very safe suburb to stay or live in; it is geared to local Australians and I don't stand out there, and I recommend the Welcome Inn to anyone!

It is a mistake I book with Wotif & Welcome Inn 27

I booked my stay for 2 adults and my 10 YO son for 1 room . When I arrived Welcome Inn said I have to pay another $50 for my son as they don't sell that room for 3 people online.
Even I didn't agree they deducted the additional money from my credit card
I log this as a query with Wotif and no reply ever
Never book through Wotif or recommending to any one
