For a roadside stop, it was well kept and breakfast was a good addition. My daughter and I went on the waterside more times than I can count, and the rooms were decent overall.

My biggest gripe was the lack of care by the staff with regards to the room. No one thing was particularly standout, but it felt a little lackluster.

I was impressed by the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, and I'd come back here the next time we visit.

Booked a room months in advance for our trip from Canada. On the day of, I received a phone call from a North Dakota number. The caller only let the phone ring twice and didn’t leave a voicemail. Thinking it may have been the hotel, I sent them a message with our projected arrival time. When we arrived, we were informed our reservation had been cancelled because the card allegedly didn’t go through. We were also told by the staff member they had attempted to contact us earlier. However, given the extremely brief phone call attempt and lack of voicemail, we were not properly notified of any issue. As a result, we were forced to rebook at a significantly higher rate costing us more than our original booking. I understand that payment issues can happen, however, I do not feel that a two ring phone call without voicemail was anything close to a reasonable attempt to contact guests who had a confirmed reservation and were actively travelling to the hotel. I would like management to review the situation and consider reimbursing the difference we were charged due to cancellation

The property was dirty in almost every respect: stains on the carpet and couch in the room, stains and rips in the towels, the shower sutras. Looked like it had mold on the bottom, never replaced the Kleenex, an item that was not trash was mistaken for trash and taken, the elevator flooring was ripped, the elevator sound like it may fail at any moment, ripped paint on the mirror, poor lighting in the bathroom, the pool area had trash and cigarette butts, and the pool is very cold - not heated as advertised.
Some of the staff are great, but others are surly and seem to be upset that you are there.
This hotel needs a complete refurbishment.

My family and I love to stay here. The rooms are so spacious and we love the breakfast. Although, I think our bathroom could have used a better deep clean and the pool area either needs better ventilation or some serious chemical adjustments. My kids ALWAYS struggle to breathe after swimming here.

The wood trim in the bathroom could be replaced. The bathtub could use a safety mat as it was slippery when the soap in the dispenser was used. Good location. Quiet room/hallways and efficient heating system.

We chose this hotel for the swimming pool. Was a terrible choice as the pool was so freezing my kids didn't want to be in it. The hot tub barely warm at all as well. Was extremely disappointed in having to pay nearly $200 for one night and be able to enjoy a pool.

Everything was great aside from the car that was parked with sliced tires. Was a little sketched out at first, and also the waterslide being down for upgrading was a bummer but we still was able to swim at least. But overall we still had a great experience, room is spacious, wish they had fridges with a small freezer. Friendly staff, breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast and my kids enjoyed it. Thanks again!

The water slides were under renovation, would have been nice to have a notice about that. The pool was very cold; the rooms were run down and don't appear to have been deep cleaned in a significant period of time. The tv has some sort of mystery shut off set, there's no sleep timer or any timer set on it, it just shut off every 20 to 30 minutes.

We were given a room that had bedding covered in fur. They switched us rooms but gave us a room that was already assigned to someone else. We ended up walking in on another couple. The third room had a clogged toilet before we even used it. Rough stay all around but the front desk was helpful and courteous.

The breakfast was good. It had the normal hotel breakfast items: waffles, cereal eggs, breakfast meat, fruit, yogurt, etc. The kids absolutely loved the pool. There were two slides that they really enjoyed. The hot tub the first couple days there was quite cool. The third day it was hot. The pool had an area that is just over 3 feet, so the grandkids could touch bottom. Rooms were mostly clean. Though the first room we got, someone had \"exploded\" in the toilet, and left it! They quickly assigned us another room. My room had 2 queen beds, and a pull out couch, so could sleep at least 6 people. I did not try out the lounge area or the food, but it is available! Staff was very good!

The room was in very poor condition. The pull out couch bed mattress had multiple stains and there was trash and a pair of socks under the bed. The beige lamp shade on the desk had multiple stand on it. The ironing board had a broken leg and when we called to see about getting a replacement the front desk told us to put the ironing board on the bed and that was all they could do for us. There was appeared to be mold around the caulking in the tub/shower. The dining room was to have open hours until 11:00 pm. However the “night manager” insisted our group leave at 9:45 pm due to “noise complaint” however there were children running in the halls, screaming and yelling in the pool, adults in the bar being loud. Our group of teenagers that were playing board games were forced to sit on the floor in the lobby in order to continue their games. Breakfast was not stocked when it appeared the hotel was sold out and should have planned for additional help.

I like the set up of the room but definitely needs updated. We couldnt use the couch bed. The mattress needs to be burned it was so gross and you can feel every spring. So we just used the cushions between the two beds for our youngest. All my kids came out of the pool bleeding. So i had to run to CVS for first aid stuff to bandage them all up. The Staff lady we had when we checked in was good. Breakfast was fine for being continental. Overall, i will not return to this hotel

I thought it was just the first night but it wasn't and after talking to other people who were staying there, they had the same issue. Hotel was very loud - parties going on, on all floors, kids running around. The 10 o'clock quiet hour was definitely not enforced.

I’ve stayed at this property many times as I use to deem this one of my favorite hotels to stay while in Minot. Sadly this time the stay was absolutely horrible. My family and I stood at the front desk for over 20 minutes before someone came to check us in. When he finally did come to the desk his attitude was beyond funky. He then check us into an un cleaned room with the furniture stripped and all over the room as if the room was being repaired. We went back to the desk he checked us into another room to which the bedding was nasty. My husband took pictures and went back to the front deck to request new bedding he was rude and non chalant about the conditions of the room. We asked for new bedding and had to argue just to get new sheets and blankets. When he handed us the new bedding it was even more stained. Not to mention the pull out bed. That crap should just be burned and thrown away. My kids were terrified to sleep on it. At this time me being 9 months pregnant and just needing sleep as I was scheduled for a C-section in the morning was over the lack of customer service and dirty bedding my husband had to drive to the near by Walmart to get a sheet set for me to lay on. I have removed them as favorites and will never stay there again.

My reservation was canceled and they would not honor the one day I was there. They canceled the entire reservation with no refund. I then booked again for the 2 days so I paid for 4 days and only stayed 2! The lady at the front desk was very rude to me and also hotels.com when they called. No manager was on duty either day I was there. Our TV in our room shut off every 15-20minutes. The volume and picture were not right. The hotel was extremely loud in early morning and late evening. The wrestling kids were running up and down the halls! The fact of being charged twice and the front desk lady being unhelpful and rude did not make a good stay.

We reserved a king suite- the pull out mattress was BAD! It was stained and ripped, springs poking out the sides. Just terrible.
We ended up switching the mattress with a next door room- but beware and make sure you check them! Quality was not great. The front desk staff was great in helping with this.
The hotel is outdated and bathrooms need upgrades. Breakfast was ok.
The hotel was 2 stars max.
I would try a different hotel next time.

Web site listed 24 hour free airport shuttle service. This is not true as you have to make reservations for the service 24 hours in advance. Once we checked in this information was disclosed. Uber and Lyft recommendations also failed as no drivers were available at the time of need. Front desk was completely unwilling to assist in any way. I had our flight adjusted to a time that the shuttle was already scheduled and once again the front desk would not guarantee or try to help with the service.
Buyer beware when using this hotel for flights out of Minot.

The first room we checked into had a dirty floor, there was white stuff all over the couch and foot stools. We went back down to get a new room and that room had the white stuff all over the couch. We didn’t sit on the couch at all because of it. At least the floor was clean in the 2nd room. Most of the staff was friendly. There was a you g man that was snarky with is when our jey wouldn’t work to get into the room. I can say that we will never stay at this property again.

The rooms are big and great for a family. The pool are was great for kids. However, The property could use cosmetic updates. Our room was in desperate need of pairing. There was rust spots all over the bathroom that was eating away at the trim and bathtub. The paint was coming off the walls in multiple places. Multiple mystery stains all over the floor that made me not want to walk barefoot. It took a great room and made it ok. The hotel has the potential to be great/expensive hotel but the looks of the room make them look dingy and dirty. The room quality does NOT justify the price. Hopefully it’s not all rooms and maybe just ours (#106).

Overall, I really don't have many complaints. The staff was nice, but not overly friendly or happy. Our room had a lot of places that could have been dusted. The bathroom fan was full of chunks of dust and the lighting is HORRIBLE. The pillows and mattresses are very uncomfortable. Even my 18 year old said she was very uncomfortable when sleeping. The breakfast was good. Everything was hot and they did a good job of keeping things clean. The pool area is older, but kept up as well as they can. The walls are SOOOO thin! We were woken up numerous times by people laughing, talking, stomping and at 2 in the morning, we were woken up by people being SOOO loud, including their young child. (Not the hotel's fault) just know you'll hear everything through the walls! We would probably stay here again, just not on a weekend , because of all the kids and noone has any consideration for others any more.
