Room 213 in bad shape. Had not been mopped properly and corners were dirty. There were dirty towels folded in the bathroom. We had to ask front desk for clean towels and helped ourselves to laundered towels in a basket. The towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall. The tub drain would not stay up for showers and had to be held up to drain the tub. The bedding was poorly made the covers were worn and not in good condition. The walls were dirty and looked like it had blood on them. Most of the outlets did not work and the room smelled bad upon arrival. Overall not satisfied and will not be back.

The location was alright and easy to get to. Rooms were dated and are in need of an update. The carpet is stained and the tables, desk, and walls are all in dated rough shape. It would be a really great place if they would spend some money to refurbish the place. 3 thin, old and small pillows for 2 people are not enough. When we asked for additonol supplies they were more then willing to accomodate. I wouldn't list this place with \"a breakfast\" with coffee, granola bars, and oatmeal for the offering. At least leave out a toaster with some bread and fruit??

This hotel has so much potential. A lobby and bar that is a 'ghost town.' Bar area looks nice however, never in use. Rooms could use some thorough cleaning. So much dust on tables, chairs & furniture getting run down. Needed a place to stay for one night however, next time I would rather pay a little more for cleaner & better amenities. Thankfully, bedding, bathroom & towels appeared clean. Staff was nice.

The room was clean was about the best of it. Reservation was made knowing that there were 3 people coming and there was no bedding provided for the other bed. When we checked in there was a sign on the front desk saying they were helping another person but after sitting in the lobby for 15 minutes I rang the bell on the desk and the front desk person came out from a door behind the desk that was an office. Every time we needed to get something from the front desk that sign was there and the person always walked out of the back office which always had the door closed. Poor customer service.

We came into Minot for a last-minute stay and the hotels I usually book were completely full, so I had to find something else. I found this one online and paid for it through the app. The pricing was good and the reviews seem good. From the outside of the building, it looked nice, but went downhill after that. When we came inside, there was no front desk person to be found. We rang the bell a few times and finally after about five minutes, someone came out when we got up to our room. The floors were absolutely disgusting so my husband and I decided that we just would not take our shoes off at all. I had a couple blankets in our car so we use those to sleep on and decided we didn’t really have a choice and it was a non-cancelable booking online online. We knew we wouldn’t be at the hotel very much during the day so we just had to suck it up. The furniture in the room was so tired and worn out, The blind didn’t go up at all the mechanism to move it up and down was missing. The floors were absolutely awful. The dust on the furniture was so thick, and I found it quite amusing that there was an envelope left on the coffee table for a donations for the housekeeper. The bar that was shown in the picture was obviously just a prop as there was no lights or people working at it the entire time we were there. The breakfast was a complete joke as all there was was crappy muffins, granola bars, and porridge. This hotel is so overdue for a makeover. DO NOT STAY HERE.!!!

Staff would not reduce my price to the current price offered through Expedia. No hot water in the shower. Temperature setting would not go to hot. Only one thin blanket on the bed. No coffee maker in the room. Window did not lock. Tires were flat on luggage cart. Furniture had sticky surface and was damaged. Looked like the whole place needed a serious upgrade.

I was told that I needed to empty my trash into the dumpster myself. Being GF I found nothing to eat at breakfast that was not gluten. Coffee available but if you wanted juice you had to buy it from the vending machine. No utensils, so I had to use my bottle cap to scoop up the microwave egg breakfast I bought at Walmart.

The rooms are very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave that we used. It also had stove burners, dishwasher and washer/dryer. I was not impressed with the breakfast which was granola bars and packaged muffins. Also, although the room was clean, the carpet was very stained with what appeared to be oil/dirt.

Upon check in, standing at the front desk….my spouse unloaded the car, filled the cart, brought it in, parked the car, walked in and…. I was still waiting for the front desk staff to arrive …upon their arrival a very strong smell of marijuana arrived simultaneously. Although she was very nice and friendly. We then went to our room, it was ok. Couch was stained, coffee table was so wobbly that we didn’t want to use it in fear of it collapsing. The floor appeared to be mopped via the smears and marks visible. Went to grab breakfast in the morning, 3 oatmeal packet options, 1 chocolate muffin, 2 types of granola bars…this is not breakfast!! Surprisingly disappointed as I certainly expected better. When we visit Minot again we WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE.

The carpet in the room was TERRIBLE! Dirty stained and just filthy! I should have cancelled the room after I read others complain about the carpet. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought they would have at least attempted to clean it. I don’t understand how the hotel thinks it’s acceptable to rent out a room with carpet in that condition. The front desk staff did an excellent job and were very helpful.

This is a nice looking property from the outside but it stops once you step inside. The room was reasonably clean except for the toilet (feces) and the furniture was very worn and used looking. The VERY limited staff was helpful at check in. We had a kitchenette but be informed there is nothing in the cupboards to use. I had to ask for ice as apparently there should have been trays in the freezer. In the morning there was vacuuming and cleaning right outside our room early in the morning...SADLY, I left my gold earrings in the room and was hopeful i could possibly get them mailed back to me. After several unanswered phone calls I reached a staff member with who i explained what happened and asked if she would go check for me but even before she \"checked\" she told me they were likely thrown into the garbage as that is what is done with items left behind. She was very impatient and annoyed to be talking to me and told me they were not there. Lets be realistic..no one is going to throw gold earrings in the garbage. I asked for the manager and asked for the housekeeper. I was told they had gone home. No manager on site at 3 p.m.? EXPEDIA gave me an email address for the manager which was not correct. Email was returned. I feel really dismissed by this hotel. THERE WAS NO EFFORT WHAT SO EVER to help or at least make me feel heard. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My stay was OK, but I got to say it could have been better!
I know rooms cannot be requested, but I ask when I made the reservation, then again when I checked in, and the front desk didn't even care to recheck as they had the check-in package ready...when I ask/arrived!

Unfortunately, I was given room 101, which was on 1st floor, very noisy as everyone comes in-out through the back door, so they bang door and steps and talk loud like a lot, so every morning, or evening...was a challenge to be able to rest!

The back door is absolutely not acceptable as the handle is broken and don't work as needed, so anyone can come in/out of the property, even if they are not a guess.

There is a piece of steel cord attached to it, which definitely doesn't make it SAFE for anyone!

and on top of that, room was not clean/touch at all during stay, not even garbage cans, towels, etc.

We arrived at 8 PM and was told that our room wasn’t ready “because a lot of people just checked in before us…” Did she give our room away?!?! We had to wait for the desk attendant to go clean our room.

We were looking forward to sitting at the bar after checking in, to be told that they are still working on getting their liquor license and there was nobody at the bar. Lights off and no staff or customers.

When we entered our room, it was an ice box, when we found the controls on the wall behind the TV and put the heat on it smelled like burning plastic so we had to unplugged the whole thing.

While checking out the room, there was a random toothpick on the desk, fan didn’t work in the bathroom, rip in lamp shade, food crumbs under bar chair.

In the morning, while checking out, the office person was sleeping at his desk.

The facility met basic requirements, Roof, HVAC, Bed, Bath. Breakfast was a disappointment, Instant Oat meal and packaged muffin and coffee. Room carpet was badly stained and even if vacumed it gave the appearance of being FILTHY!! room 202. Had to take our garbage out to dumpster ourselves. Kitchen utensiles and dishes were available upon request at front desk but not stocked in room. Facilities infrastructure were designed for a premium stay , cabinets were available for full breakfast service and it even had a bar area. nice outdoor patio with grill.

The room looked as advertised in the photo. The check-in staff was friendly. However, the \"funny smell\" we noticed when we first entered the room just seemed to get worse during our stay. A \"wet dog\" smell that seemed to be in the air vents and permeated the bedding. The floor also felt gritty, although the other surfaces looked clean. The room just smelled bad by the next morning. We we eager to leave and will not be back. I don't know if there was a pet-free option available, but I wish we had checked. The odor alone made the stay disappointing for us.

Carpets were terribly stained. We had asked for a different room, but they said they'd all be the same as oilfield workers must wear their boots all over the rooms. Apparently taking them off at the door isn't in the cards. Anyway we had also tried to move on after the first night, but the property refused to budge with the third party provider of the reservation on the three night stay so we were confined to this one. I always hate when the customer has no leeway on these things. But with some companies its all about them. Other than that, it was fine.

This used to be our go to hotel. It WAS elegant and felt luxurious. Not anymore. The property has not been kept up.

The lobby area and the patio outside are in need of a good cleaning as are the rugs in the rooms and hallways. The bar in the lobby does not function as a bar anymore and the advertized vending machine, to my knowledge, only contained soda. The hot breakfast no longer exists. Instead there is packaged oatmeal and muffins in plastic or a granola bar. There is not an option of juice, fruit, or anything that is more than the bare minimum of a grab and go breakfast.

The layout of the room we stayed in is a great idea - a living room with a kitchen and a separate bedroom. The furniture in the room's living areas needs a good cleaning (or to be thrown out and replaced). The pull out was very uncomfortable. The coffee table was worn and water stained. The kitchen is not equipped with supplies in the room (as it used to be) but you can request they be delievered to the room. The pot and pan we were offered were teflon and very scratched and ill kept. I had to go back to the desk several times to get dishwashing soap, dish towels for the sink, sheets and piillowcases for the pull-out.

Overall, this was a disappointing stay. We had invited several family members to visit us at the hotel and I felt I had to apologize for the condition of the hotel.

We were greeted by polite and friendly staff who were helpful and promptly changed our room when we raised concerns. Unfortunately, the first room had a strong, unpleasant odor and numerous stains throughout. The second room was only slightly better — the smell was more tolerable, but still off-putting. The carpet was filthy, with what appeared to be dried vomit near the coffee table.

Although we had planned to stay for four nights, we checked out after just one and found another hotel.

This place desperately needs a deep cleaning and a full carpet replacement. The staff tried, but the condition of the rooms was unacceptable.

The property and staff were acceptable, aside from hallways and stairwells in need of cleaning.

This stay was booked via Expedia, by way of Travigo. I specified that we required a pet friendly listing (and traveling with my wife's support dog).

Upon checking in we were informed that we were REQUIRED to spend an EXTRA fifty-two dollars in pet fees, for a two-night stay.

Both my wife and I have disabilities, and money is carefully managed. Two years ago, we booked at the same property (with same said dog) about half as much night and NO added PET FEES.

Extended Stay, Expedia, and Trivago I am very displeased with everything about your dishonest BAIT AND SWITCH style of discerptions.

I wish that I knew which entity that we could ask for apologies and refunds.

I can not afford to travel much, but this experience greatly question whom I can trust in the future.
