The hotel is totally renovated. Each suite has the kitchen with a full fridge that has an ice maker. Bed is very comfortable and lots of choice for pillows. If you miss breakfast hours they still have fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea and milk available if you prefer to sleep in. Staff is always asking if you need anything just ask. Close to the mall and eating places. We were there for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The room was dirty and smelled bad. I asked for a different room and was kindly taken to a new one. It smelled better but wasn’t that clean. The breakfast was terrible with hard rock biscuits and day or two old hasbrown/egg mixture. There is also strange transactions on my visa that I have to call and clear up. This place is not recommended.

We checked in at 8:00pm and when we got to our room they were still cleaning it and we had to wait in the hall for 20 minutes listening to two cleaners complaining about having to clean the rooms and they should just mark the last few rooms clean. Numerous profanity was also being used. When we did get into our room the microwave, refrigerator, and bathroom toilet were not cleaned and our rooms was not very clean but we had disinfectant wipes and wiped down everything ourselves.
Then our second night, around 11:30 pm someone was vacuuming in the room above us for about 5 minutes. It was really frustrating.
Luckily we didn’t need to spend a ton of time in our room but it could have been a better experience.

Hotel.com advertised pool and hot tub, which the hotel did not have. Hotel and room was outdated, with stains on rugs and mold in the bathroom tiles and in tub. Halls smelled.
When we check in, had to wait 5 mins for someone to come to front desk.
We got to breakfast the next morning at 8am and majority of it was empty. Had to ask food and coffee cups would be refilled. Person at the desk was not very happy to help.
Disappointed for the value we paid to stay in the hotel. Pictures on hotel make this hotel much more updated.

The location is great. Service was great. Bed was comfortable. Carpets need to be replaced. Starting to look dated. Needs to be refreshed. Health options at the buffet would be nice. For example fruit or yogurt would be nice.

Found a used bar of soap in the shower there was a bad smell in the room when we walked inside, found the garburator was giving off the smell. There was noodles left in the sink as well. Smelled like someone was smoking in one of the rooms. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

I didn't like that there was no house keeping; towels were thin and badly worn. Breakfast was minimal. Space around the bed was tight so it was difficult to access the bed; when requested a better room, we were told the rooms were all the same unless we upgrade for more $.

The room itself was stinky, beds aren't queen when you ask for a queen. The bed linen weren't very nice smelling. Smelled like dirty hair. The carpeting in room smelled like toe jams. Not good experience.

We chose Mainstay for the price, but found it excellent and met our needs well. I especially appreciated the later (11:30) checkout, and they were even flexible enough to give us a little longer. Thank you! The room could be a little bigger for having a kitchen and eating there, but it worked out OK for that. Walls are a little thin for noise, but not terrible.

The duvet was dirty and torn in multiple places. Drapes were falling off and you could see they had attempted to tape them to the wall unsuccessful. When we came forward with concerns about the duvet the front desk clerk was quick to correct the situation and said how embarrassing this was. I give her full credit for her response.

Checked in at around 10:25pm and was greeted by friendly staff.
Room was nice and cold, which felt wonderful after being at the hot state fair all day.
Everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable, quiet on the floor we were staying on.
Breakfast was okay, simple—about normal of what you find nowadays.
Would definitely book there again.

This hotel does not match its rating on Expedia. When we arrived it was far from good. Firstly, was given a room that was not cleaned between guests. The 2nd room was in very rough shape. Ceiling light in the shower was falling out of the ceiling. The tub faucet was loose in the wall. Hot water was minimal. Fan unit made horrible grinding noises. The area is VERY loud with vehicles and upstairs footsteps are disruptive. Will never stay there again.

Good budget hotel. Only queen beds available. Little tired looking, but clean, safe and convenient. Right across the street from the mall and close to lots of restaurants. Very limited breakfast and unfortunately the water tastes very chlorinated.

The hotel hallway carpets were filthy. That didn’t leave a very good impression on the stay. The rooms were ok as far as cleanliness was concerned but a poor first impression is a lasting one. The carpet in the room was dark so not sure how clean they were.

Some good, some not so good.

The easy chairs, one had broken spring, the other had a leg that would fall off when moving it to watch TV, but the place was clean. Breakfast was not bad, but the biscuits were rationed and the sausage gravy was cold. The coffee (a personal taste) did not smell nor taste like good coffee... kind of a scorched taste. Finally the carpeted hallways looked well used and abused.

The beds were super comfy. Fresh cookie in the afternoon. Fresh fruit offered throughout the day. Breakfast was sad. First day they offered two things, a burnt omelet and sausage. No toast. Truck didn't come? Second day had toast but the food looked yucky. Wouldn't stay again.

Woman checking us in was miserable and unfriendly. Same woman checked us out, same story…miserable. Tv wasn’t working properly, she said she’d send someone to take a look. No one showed up. Safe in the room didn’t function properly. No maid service for duration of stay. Pillows were lumpy.

On the upside, the breakfast was good. Hotel was quiet.

It’s doubtful I’d book again next time.

Our stay at mainstay was great! The rooms are very spacious which was perfect as there was 4 of us! Full size fridge, microwave etc so that was fantastic! Would definitely stay again!
One note, you have to leave hotel to use the pool/hot tub. We would have but it was an insane blizzard so we couldn’t/didn’t but just a heads up.

Booked, got to the hotel to book in and was met by a miserable customer service rep who claimed Expedia can’t tell the difference between clean rooms and dirty rooms. Then was snarky when she said they had no rooms available. I said I had booked and it was non-refundable. I promptly left and contacted Expedia for a refund. Terrible service!!

Our room had old garbage in two of the three receptacles in the room. The kitchenette had old food stuck in the microwave as well as on the stovetop. The carpet had not been vacuumed. The staff simply handed me the room keys and said, “You can go.”
BUT, the room was relatively inexpensive, so I guess we got what we paid for.

Carpets in hall were filthy. Walked into hotel room smelt like every spice in the pantry. Hotel room floor had debris it was not vacuumed. Kitchen sink had lettuce in it. Fridge wasn’t even clean or wiped down. Bathroom flooring was wrecked holes in wall bathtub was dirty. Toilet has feces debris in it could tell it was not cleaned previously!!! This property is in need of repair and absolutely filthy. In 4 days I never saw a maid or a maids cart anywhere in this hotel. The hallway carpets are the filthiest I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Dead bugs in entryways for 4 entire days. Not sure if the hotel owns a vacuum. Leak in ceiling near lobby with a bucket and hose hanging down. Water shut off for an entire day to repair leak so no showers or use of toilets. Rooms smell of smoke and not sure what else. No cups, shampoo or lotion. Breakfast is horrible. Stay elsewhere. So disappointing.

Betty at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. Very friendly! no pool directly in the hotel was a bummer. Had to walk over to another hotel to use the hot tub and swimming pool. The room was very comfortable and BIG! The carpets in the hallways were stained and had a slight smell. Continental breakfast was good.
