We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton. Excellent bed, nice shower and extra towels on request. Samoa is prone to power outages and we were thankful for the generator. We took advantage of the spa for foot massages. We were in easy walking distance of the Samoan Cultural Village - which was a nice way to spend a morning. The Sheraton staff went out of their way to help us arrange transportation to the airport and back for a day trip to American Samoa to visit the US National Park. Only complaint I would have is there were no wipes in the gym. I suspect shortages of many items may occur due to shipping issues. I will be honest. We originally were not planning to stay here, but issues with air conditioning at another highly reviewed resort had us doing a last minute reservation. We are extremely glad we made the change as these facilities and the room conditions were far superior to our original reservation.

The place was great room was good, however the bath tap did not turn on, and it was the main reason why I had booked that room. No one whatsoever came and checked even after complaining about it. Also staff was very terrible, so many miscommunication and poor management when deals with problems. Not a good first experience

Right from the start we were welcome with an amazing staff. Check in was quick and easy. Staff assisted us with carrying all our luggage’s to the room while we sipped on the complimentary drink. Enjoyed our stay, we had the King Harbor view room, everything was perfect except the shower/bath which was very dirty and quite small, location of toilet was in a weird spot facing and almost touching the wall, no extractor fan in bathroom, ranch slider was stuck and difficult to open & close, othwise location of Hotel was perfect, with exceptional service. Comfy bed & staff welcomed us with words made out of petals n leaves on our bed to congratulate us on our anniversary which was a very nice touch, thank you 🙏

We booked our stay in advance and paid the same if not more then the rest of my family, but they all ended up staying in the main building and we were relegated right out the back, above the wellness centre. That was disappointing as my children were located far away from the rest of their cousins and felt isolated back there.

There was a direct entry from where we were, to the car park, but always felt a little unsafe as it was opened all night and though there was always people present near the gate, we weren’t sure who were employees and who were strangers lurking around the area.

Our kids loved the pool and we used the gym and spa were great! Some of the food didn’t seem super fresh and took quite some time. We also had an issue w the safety and security of our room and belongings but overall we made the most of our stay and had a good time. Most of the staff were lovely and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton!
From the time we checked in to the time we checked out the staff were so attentive, their service is amazing always greeting us with smiles, checking if we need anything, and so respectful! The security staff were also amazing going above and beyond to ensure that we are looked after.
Our room was cleaned and topped up everyday and the complementary breakfast was beyond what we expected, started everyday with full and happy belly’s.
My husband and I also enjoyed their dinner and drinks everything was delicious!!!
Will definitely stay with Sheraton Samoa again!!!!

Me and my fanily had an wonderful experience here at the sheraton, my son levar had made good friends with the bartender Sam ,he did more than look after my son and my family and myself, the staff team did more than expected. Clean rooms, my mokos where basicaly living in the pool, my son levar says that sam ,went above and beyond to make sure he was looked after and always good and safe, all the staff were very beautiful and always smilling and happy and making sure all guests were well looked after, and especially on our last night sam had went above and beyond for us. Sam and the team had put a little performance for me and my family, and it wasnt a good bye it was an see you again feeling,it made us all nearly all teary eye. Levar says thank you Sam much love uce.

The only thing that was a bummer was waiting extra for the rooms and also the door beign faulty at multiple times which made it harder, but they did look after us for those issues, which is amazing amd too the amazing team that went above and beyond to make sure the doors were working and they was always working and that we could get into our rooms 9105, 9106, but apart from that it was an amazing time here for me and my family at the sheraton Aggie greys, and my son is verry appreciated of Sam and his kind heart and humbleness, and being a top uso , and says that he is one amazing worker and mate , awesome to talk to and get along with as they connected and became mates and says thank you to sam the man

Friendly staff. The place is quite wear and tear, scuffs on walls, bugs inside shower. Quality of breakfast buffet was not great nor fresh, average. Amenities pool was great and convenient. Extra staff for staff service and flexibility with certain requests for example an anti-slippery bath mat and fresh towels. Security also helped with our bags as well as greeting guests upon entry with a smile and hello. Location was convenient to shops and restaurants with a nice view.

From arrival, we were asked to pay when we checked out, despite our booking already being fully paid via bank transfer. We were given a room at the back of the hotel where the area was empty.
There was leftover food, used linen, and a strong unpleasant smell along the walkway and inside the room. The smell was overwhelming, and we had to keep the windows open to get through the first night.
After making a complaint, we were moved closer to other guests, which we appreciated. However, although the hotel looks luxurious from the outside, the room did not reflect that standard. The bathroom was also very small.
Some staff provided excellent service, while others did not. Photos attached.

I stayed in the Bungalow suite and was very impressed with the room, extremely spacious with a seperate lounge area, couch and tv and the bedroom area also has a tv - both come with seperate air conditioning. The bed is very comfy and the bathroom has a bath and shower with all the amenities you need. The staff are very friendly + helpful always on hand to assist you. The pool was great to cool down and enjoy - there are 2 pools, the main pool and a lap(lane) pool on the premises. The food was so good, with fresh ingredients being served and food coming out quickly from the kitchen - all reasonably priced. Thank you Sheraton Aggie Grey's, I will definitely be back :)

Unfortunately the only negative I can give which ruined our experience is the 6 days of bearkfast we had, only one day did the bacon and egg lady remember we had ordered. The other 5 days we would wait 15min to 20mins then eventually get up to ask for our bacon and eggs which was somehow forgotten. This ruined my appetite as waiting around and then our order was forgotten was very disappointing. Staff at reception were nice and the cleaners always had a beautiful smile.

On our second night the fire alarm went off in the early morning hours twice - an hour or so apart. It was loud it woke my husband and I up. We have stayed at many hotels and have never experienced this happening. We couldn't get through the phone to reception so my husband went down to see what was going on the first time. Second time the alarm went off I went down and expressed my frustration to be woken again and no proper fire protocol or procedure was in place. Was told maintenance was looking into it.
Reception was aware of which room we were in and it was very disappointing management didn't contact us regarding the matter.

Arrived late for check in after 3pm, around 3:45pm still had to wait 1.5hrs to check in so sat in the lounge area. Room was falling apart the cupboard broke off the hinge and fell on my partners foot, outdated room, shower in the bath tub (not ideal for anyone over 5’8) toilet pretty much at the wall. Pool was murky, opened at 7am but the pool was still getting cleaned all the way until 9am and rusty nails sticking out on the side of the pool. Staff were rude just standing around giggling and watching tv, breakfast buffet was subpar compared to what we had at taumesina and coffees ordered upon entering the breakfast buffet weren’t served until we almost finished eating after 2-3 follow-ups. My parents bungalow was leaking they couldn’t even stay in their room the first night, my sister had no hot water in her room and after complaining to reception nothing they could do, reception phone was unanswered most of the time, had to go down to see them if you wanted someone to answer. A 14 year old was followed to her room by a random man and distraught crying along w her mother that didn’t speak English and yet there was nothing the staff or security could do especially with no cameras in the hall. There were also condoms on the staff doors which is completely unprofessional and not great to explain to children. Always ran out of pool towels and when asked it took hours for pool towels to arrive so we used our room towels. Will never choose to stay here again.

Before we even got there issues started you’ll get communication a week after and that’s after following up multiply times.

For our 2 day stay there was no hot water, I called reception twice no answer so went down and found all the staff standing outside. They sent someone up to our room and he said he fixed it. Surprise he did not!

The showers are slippery and disgusting like they have not been cleaned.

The floors are sooo dirty when you try to get into bed you have black soot on your feet and this was after a cold shower.

My mum booked into the bungalow and it leaked so she had to be moved not once twice. The first room she was moved it was freshly painted and reeked of paint fumes. So she went back in the pouring rain for another room and didn’t get to sleep till 1am.

I was called at our room to ask when I was checking out as they had another guest who wanted to come early so if we could check out earlier. I’ve never had this happen at any other hotel.

What was the worse! As we were waiting check out, we saw a teenage girl clearly shaken with her mother. A man has followed this girl into her room and locked the door behind him. I asked the receptionist if they had a camera and she said there are no cameras.

The staff did not nothing for this poor girl and her mother.
If you have teenage daughters this place is not safe!
The staff are rude and do not want to help in anyway, the rooms are disgusting outdated, cracked windows, roachs! Yuck

Very nice location, excellent customer service, the check in was smooth and beyond my expectations. A lovely lady who took me to my room, she includes all resort information also the most interesting sightseeing of Samoa, Later on I knew her name is Hannah, director of customer service of the hotel, outstanding communication skills with guest, well done.
Breakfast buffet has various options for local and international cuisine, I do like their special coffee with soy milk;
Friday night there is a dance show with fire dance, is absolutely amazing.
Overall is a great place for vacation in Samoa.

Rooms need an upgrade/refresh. Didn’t like the frosted window panel from bathroom to the room - there’s no privacy for those taking a shower. Some items on the menu weren’t available - menu needs a refresh too? Quite a walk to our room - terrible signage. Expected more for a Sheraton but hotel seems run down. Staff were friendly, though didn’t advise they downgraded our hotel room booking. No communication on email with them - non responsive, even on chat. If you phone - you either get them or no answer.

The people that do house work forget to leave bath mat, hand towel and they use old looking bath towels. They also forgot to take dirty drinking glasses to wash as there’s nothing to wash those in the room. The beddings are not changed daily.

Great Service, Disappointing Room Experience

Stayed at Sheraton Apia and what an experience! From check-in to check-out, the staff were absolutely amazing — warm, friendly, and always going the extra mile. The kitchen service was also wonderful with so many great food choices. Honestly, the omelettes were the BEST my husband ever had at any hotel. The bar cocktails were another highlight — perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and every one I tried was delicious.Definitely a must if you’re staying here. Unfortunately, the room let us down. While the view was beautiful, the bed comfortable, and the air con strong, the fridge was noisy and had cockroaches crawling inside. The closet didn’t function properly, it’s squeaky and noisy, the bedside drawer is kinda stuck and when you pull it open the whole table moves. The bathroom was in poor condition (loose toilet seat, stained bathtub which still has markings of previous non slip mat), worn tiles, and unfinished shower work). The shower drain looks like it’s blocked, it still flows but very slow. Our last night was the worst part—a birthday celebration was held on our floor, with loud music, kids running in the hallway screaming, laughing and pressing doorbells on every room including ours. Several guests, including myself, were disturbed.
I don’t understand why celebrations would be allowed on the same floor as paying guests who are there to relax. Amazing staff and great food, but the poor room condition and disruptive noise made this a disappointing stay.

What I didnt like was the food, Breakfast excellent, I ordered oka and poke (raw fish) Answered, fish is frozen. Ok I ordered 2 fish and chips 2 soups. Expecting soup with fresh vegetables but they used frozen peas. Fish and chips was horrible its like left overs, over night food.I ordered dessert ok. I complained they said sorry. They still charge me $190.00 for the 2 fish and chips and 2 soups. Taste of soup too much pepper
Anyway they gave dessert free of charge a
cheese cake 2 tea. To me they shouldnt charged the 2 fish and chips. I dont mind paying the price with good food. From then on I never dine and lunch there except breakfast..
Sorry is not worth it. Even free dessert to cover up.

Lift was not working, hotel needs a good clean around facilities. Rooms had plugs blocked, called reception maintenance did not arrive.. Rooms were nice but outside of rooms really needs a manager to oversee cleaning, carpets were not vacuumed flies hanging around back areas, even in stairwells that guests have to use were dirty. Cleaning and maintenance really poor for Sheraton standards.

We had a lovely welcome when we first arrived. Staff are fantastic.

The gardens are lovely and we enjoyed using the lap pool.

The breakfast is amazing, good selection of hot and cold food, they make a very nice omelette and the coffee is great.

Had one meal at the restaurant, arrived cold, should have brought this to their attention.

1st room we stayed in was not up to standard, blind fell down twice, we were woken with an alarm going off at 6:30am 1st night and didnt get turned off till 8am. This was after telling 3 people, they then took the smoke alarm away and never replaced it, power went off fixed 2nd day, then two men came to look at the telephone it wasnt going they did nothing. 3rd night the power went off again and power was returned but then all switch's didnt work. We told reception they send man to fix he says its major will have to move. We hear nothing for another half a hour so I go to reception to see if we are moving finally get the manager and tell her the above we are upgraded to a nice room with no issues.

As they rectified the situation I would stay again.

All the staff or so lovely and welcoming, they certainly make it a special place.

Cleanliness even tho the runners were a bit dirty, but the rooms are beautiful and I hope you keep up the cleanliness. Staff as I have said in the survey, that the communication is key and I know that you have staff undergoing training, but other than that it was a pleasant stay, lets just say it was way way way better than Le Uaina.

First and last time

Booked a room and got a bungalow. Thought that was great until the stink of fresh paint hit me when I opened the door. Windows don't open so to air it had to prop the door open with the chair that wasn't broken. Seemed to improve or I got used to it after a couple of hours... In the middle of the night. I know I should have asked for a different room but was exhausted after the 2 hour shuttle excursion from the airport. As I closed the blinds, 3 fell off their hinges so I herring back into place. Can't leave the blinds open as the bungalows have zero privacy. You also hear people going past at all hours.
As others have said there is a lot of variety at breakfast but otherwise food is poor. Service is mixed.
Booked an expensive shuttle through this site, then the hotel tried to charge me again for it. Twice. The bed was comfy and I slept well.
Definitely not what I expected for a Sheraton. Many better places to stay in Apia for less.

The buffet breakfast was outstanding at Sheraton Mulifanua, the bed was very comfortable, internet was good, it was unfortunate that i was u able to chromecast from my phone, transport was good I caught a taxi to the airport.

I had the best stay at Sheraton Mulifanua the staff were awesome, I will definitely come back to stay.
