Staff are good cleaner is good too But the only thing that they didn't do it is the screen wire of the other bedroom need to fix please replace the screen wire.Because its for the safety of kid's from mosquitoes and also small insects.The family room that we was staying in is 21 and 22 the screen wire of the 22 need to fix so please need to be done that for other people as well.On the first day for our check in one of their staff was breaking the door key,we arrived thier on the 17 in a morning on Wednesday 2025 they said someone is goona go and do it,we spend 6 days in their no one was doing it we used one side of the other family room.PLEASE MY ADVICE IS NEED TO CHECK EVERYTHING BEFORE WE CHECK IN WE ARE HAPPY IF YOU GUYS TELL EVERYTHING IS NOT GOOD INSIDE THE ROOM AND ALSO PLEASE WE PAY MOTELS IS A LOT OF MONEY SO WHATEVER PEOPLE ASK TO DO IT BETTER DO IT FOR SAFETY OF PEOPLE AND KID'S AS WELL.OR REFUND SOME PART OF MY MONEY OK THANK YOU

The staff are truly amazing and friendly, and I greatly appreciate their warm hospitality. The only concern I have is with the beds in the room. Currently, there are two double-sized beds, which are suitable for two adults. However, for three adults, it would be more comfortable to have one double bed and one king-size bed. This arrangement would provide enough space for everyone to rest comfortably.

Aside from that, everything else was excellent—including the delicious and healthy breakfast. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I am very satisfied. This is my fifth time staying at this hotel, and despite this minor issue, everything else was perfect.

Thank you very much, and I plan to stay here again when I visit Samoa in the future.

Excellent customer service by all. I stayed 5 nights here with my 80 & 84 year parents. The staff were very accommodating to their needs and treated them with the utmost respect. They were loving, caring and professional always greeting you with a smile. Front house staff right through to the back house, kitchen, cleaners were a joy to deal with. We highly recommend Insel to those visiting Samoa it will be your home away from home with Island feels.

The room we had was spacious which we liked, but the shower wasn't as clean to a standard I would expect at a hotel. Also the shower cubicle is very small, so this is something to consider if you are plus sized. The pool was clean and the breakfast still one of the best on island.

The buffet breakfast was the same everÿday, bar changing from porridge to kokoalaisa. The cleanliness of the bathroom and toilet wasnt great, only change of towels. When we checked out the given amount was more than what I worked out and no breakdown of how they came to the amount. I have stayes at this place whenever Ive gone to Samoa, but the service has gone down and unfortunately wont he staying there again.

Pool was dirty and towels were dingy and old so best to bring your own. Its otherwise clean enough and staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms have all the amenities and are huge! Showers are a bit small but at least hot water was on daily compared to other motels we have been in in this area. I loved the continental breakfast and location is great. We had a very comfortable stay and its well worth the price!

We had our friends stay here as we no longer needed the reservation but they said they’d stay was good. Can’t comment on anything else’s, they only slept there and didn’t use the amenities. Convenient and close to the city and plenty of parking available. Reception ladies were lovely and very welcoming.

Location of hotel is great. Our room was located on the ground floor. Our room was dated and was quite unpleasant to stay in. The beds were very uncomfortable. The biggest let down is the bathroom. It's old and dated and just had a smell that didn't go away. I know the other rooms on the upper levels have been refurbished so maybe the lower level will eventually be refurbished too.

Place is real rundown had ants spiders and cockroaches in my room the staff trying their hardest to keep up but they need a whole New Remodel for this hotel.

The beds are very old and one of the cleaning Lady took my niece underwears and her husband’s Tank top and food from their room, she did came an apologized but she Never returned the tank top ect as she said she would.

It was addressed to the front desk and was never returned.

We will Not be staying here again.

A small problem that can lead to big issue

We've stayed at Insel Fehmarn many times while in Samoa. Their 3rd-floor executive rooms are the best bang for the buck, in my opinion, and complimentary breakfast is always a delight.

Yet, on this trip, when we stepped out for a quick breakfast, we left everything lying out (wallet, jewelry, passports, electronics, etc.) as we would check out right afterward. To our shock, as we approached our room, I noticed the cleaning lady three doors down from us and the doors next to our rooms slightly ajar. When we came to our door, it was also open.

I presumed they came by to see if we'd checked out yet but saw everything inside and closed the door, yet it was still open. The good thing was that no one else went in there, and nothing was missing, but they didn't offer a \"Do not Disturb\" sign, and there was no way to advise them not to enter the room.

This could have caused significant problems if someone else would have entered the room. Because we were in a rush, we didn't make a big deal about it, which can cause serious problems.

I hope they implement some procedures that will keep their guest's property safe because leaving a door open isn't a simple mistake.

Simple little gem

The superior room was a great place to stay. They rooms are very clean. Little things need maintenance like the outdoor balcony light flickered consistently like a disco, which i spoke to reception about but nothing was done during my seven day stay. Also towels were not replaced daily, which required me to ask for them to be replaced. The reception staff are friendly. As a 3 star place to stay it is nice choice for a reasonable price.

We had two interconnecting rooms on the ground floor. The rooms were very large but dark and gloomy (had to have lights on during the day). Combine this with the awful decor and it felt a little like being in a cell block. Also being on the ground floor, the garden view was actually a view of the carpark. Having said that, apart from one rainy Sunday we didn’t spend much time in our rooms.

Some of the beds were comfy and others were terrible.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and yummy and they changed it a little every day which was nice.

Overall, good value for money in a great location. Would book here again but would choose a room on the first floor; hopefully they’re a bit brighter.

Under par - We had 3 rooms for 3 nights. Room facilities including linen are old, rooms poorly equipped ie no jug in the 2/3 rooms we booked & no coffee/tea. Had to wait upto 2hrs for a jug to be delivered to our room. This hotel needs an upgrade & needs to scale up their housekeeping staff, either delay in room being serviced or not serviced at all. staff in dining area polite and professional, although not so much the case for those at reception. Location is good - close to town & there’s a nice pizza plc across the road. We wont be staying here again:(

It was less then ok , breakfast very boring and same no choice , first night was early check in gave us a room with cockroach and freezer was frozen with ice . Lots of ants . But charged us 100tala for first night . Moved us to second floor , lack of dishes and pots. Ants everywhere even when sleeping ants on bed and glass of water . We left a night earlier . But didn’t give us a break on the early check in with the conditions . I would like some compensation from that booking . One staff was very helpful others not really informed. We’ve stayed at Insel in the past a few times. As usual the staff were great & restaurant staff were lovely - a few changes to our room request upon arrival were met with efficient assistance. Unfortunately, cleanliness in the room has dropped significantly. In 14 days we only had 2 services(one being declined as we were staying in for the day). There were a few issues in the room I tended to myself over our stay but in general, cleaning standards & processes need a major overhaul if they wish to retain returning guests.
