Room had a stench, couldn’t even provide me with a second room key,bathroom had plumbing issues, the experience was so bad i checked out one day early as i was checking out they asked about what happened then said they were sorry as they’re fully booked so nothing could be done but i doubt that another room would have mattered

Construction under the hotel and constant road noise, far from a peaceful spot as the pictures portray the property book at your own risk my room was on the “executive floor” can’t imagine what the standard floors look like

We were on vacation from Canada and stayed for four nights at the Hilton Alexandria after our river cruise. The hotel and staff were very good and the location is good, right across the road from the private beach. The beach has change rooms and security and is very nice; however, you have to catch a shuttle to get there due to the extremely busy roadway in between. We figured out after awhile how we could have navigated crossing the road but it is not far the faint of heart. We have no complaints about this hotel and would recommend it wholeheartedly. We used Uber to get to the sights and the location was good.

We spent four marvelous days here to unwind after touring Egypt and Turkey for two weeks. This is the place to go. Everything at this hotel is excellent. Our room was spotless every day. Each of the several restaurants has a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Every plate is served as though it is a work of art. The servers were exceptional. The very large lobby overlooking the Mediterranean is very relaxing; and has delicious food service too nearly all day long after breakfast elsewhere. You won't be sorry you stayed here.

I had horrible experience with the check-in , I arrived the 10th of October at 9:30 pm from Canada that was my anniversary with my wife, we waited long time to check in two receptionists Mariam and Nagwa, both of them were helping one guest looks like they were trying to find him a room, after long wait over 20 min. It was my shock they were telling me that the hotel is sold out and no rooms available except the 3ed floor which is very near from the ground and the pool by the way there was a wedding and the music was super loud, any way we accepted the room, my booking was a king bed , we entered the room we found 2 beds it was a shock for my wife in our anniversary. I went down to the reception and asked Nagwa to read my reservation it is king bed, she answered no other room available, I was very disappointed, and was about to loose my calmness, she offered me an alternative room with king bed!! When we moved our stuff to that room I found it two beds too, I came down to the reception for the second time I was really angry because it is two beds and a smoker room although it is assigned as non smoking room, she did not apologize or shaw any empathy for waisting my time and effort, she said that is the only option available, I requested to talk to a manager she said no manager now, I requested to meet with him next day morning, and requested to go back to the non smoking room she refused saying it is already taken, she was rude careless and no empathy at all. I stayed at this hotel for just one night, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The staff and overall service were at an outstanding level.

A special mention goes to Kowther, who assisted me in the lobby. Her professionalism, helpfulness, and positive attitude were remarkable. She demonstrated the qualities of someone who deserves to be in a management position. Her service reflects both her own dedication and the strong support and training provided by the leadership team.

I also want to recognize the Front Office Manager and her team—they were equally outstanding.

Thank you to the entire Hilton Corniche Alexandria team for delivering such a memorable experience. I look forward to returning.

The private beach is closed and the pool was closed when we arrived and until 10am the next day (after we checked out) we were not informed upon checkout and they would not offer any compensation for this even though it was why we booked this hotel. The front desk lady just smirked and laughed when we asked if there was anything they could offer us as all of the free amenities were closed our stay.

The hotel offered a spacious, clean room with comfortable beds and a large bathroom, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful, especially the bellboy and concierge who assisted with transport arrangements. The café downstairs serves nice, affordable snacks and food with a lovely beach view, but room service was mixed. The pasta was fine (random bone in the spaghetti bolognese was off-putting), tiramisu was mid. The gym is small and can feel crowded quickly. The rooftop has beautiful sunset views. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, and noise from adjoining rooms and the busy main road made sleeping difficult for a light sleeper like myself. Overall, the hotel has great potential but was let down by practical issues and noise especially as a Hilton brand, so I would consider staying again especially if improvements are made.

This was a strange hotel located on the main road along the corniche in Alexandria. We chose it because it had a beach and an executive lounge. The beach was closed because of construction and in any case is located on the other side of the main road with the craziest traffic. The executive lounge facilities were available in the normal restaurant located in the basement of the building with street access from the main road. The private atmosphere was completely lost. The breakfast and dinner buffets were both very good. We ate in the cafe in the lobby a few times and that was great. There was entertainment in the hotel and there is an ATM. The rooms were fine but there was constant noise from the traffic on the main road which never seemed to stop. We did have a great sea view.

Good Hotel but Expecting Better for a 5 Star

It was a good stay. Just a bit disappointed with the
1. Lounge Access which upon check in I had to show proof and insist that I paid for a room with lounge access.
2. Lounge Access was really one of the restaurant in the hotel which is also used for breakfast. But food and service was good.
3. When we checked out, no one was at the counter and had to wait for 15 minutes for person in charge.

Not a relaxing place

My wife and I spent a weekend here, thinking we'd get away from Cairo and relax. We booked a sea view room. Little did we know, there is a massive construction project going on, to widen the road along the coast. It's baffling why anyone would want to ruin such a lovely coastline. There is nothing the hotel management can do about this, of course, but keep it in mind.

The room was fine. Problem was the spa - there are only hours for men, and women, but it was not possible to use the facilities together. I respect the local culture, so it's fine that there are some hours for men, and some for women, but why aren't there 'mixed' hours? Surely some Egyptians and many tourists would like to visit the sauna with their partners. It didn't really matter because the facilities are in such poor shape. The jacuzzi was cold. Staff were polite and seemed embarrassed about the problem but they couldn't fix it. The steam room does get steamy but it's not warm enough for you to break a sweat. The dry sauna was also not that hot, but it was good enough.

Finally, if you want to relax in your room and watch a football match, think again. They didn't have Bein Sports in the room. It is a standard channel in this part of the world. Instead, they had it in the bar (which lacks a non-smoking section), presumably so people who wanted to watch a match would also consume alcohol.

Anyway, the room was fine, but if you are going to Alex for a relaxing weekend, you can probably do better.

Our stay lasted two nights and it was wonderful. We had a spacious suite for three adults. The suite was clean, well decorated with direct see view. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of varieties and they leave it open till 11:00 am. In our opinion, it was a good value for money and we will definitely make it our choice the next time we visit Alexandria.

I was given a free upgrade to a full ocean view suite (up from a deluxe ocean view, I think) which provided a huge suite with an expansive view of Alexandria and the ocean. The buffet breakfast was very good, except it was very crowded on the first morning. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at the Hilton hotel and was very disappointed with my experience. I paid for an ocean view room, but the view was obstructed by construction, dirt, and trash.

When I brought this to the attention of the front desk staff, specifically Sagy Taher, I expressed my dissatisfaction and mentioned that I was considering canceling my stay early. Unfortunately, her response was dismissive, indicating that it was not their problem.

This lack of customer service was frustrating, and ultimately, I had to book another hotel room. Overall, my stay was far from pleasant, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

I am so disappointed in my stay at Hilton's. We travel a lot and our go to hotel has always been the Hilton's unfortunately checking in to this Hilton has made me not want to ever use Hilton again. The room has a nasty oder, the bathroom was dirty, the pillows and so old and deflated. I felt grossed out to take a shower in that bathroom or to even lay in that bed. We let the front desk know and they sent someone to clean it but it was still so nasty. And omg the smell, traumatized even thinking about it. I don't think I will stay with Hilton in the future.

The food and restaurants are excellent as is the staff managing these. We had a number of meals at Gourmandise and Santorini and they were perfect.

What I didn't like was the time takwn to che k in, took more than 30 minutes, even though we arrived around 3 pm. Room for the tariif was too samll and the bathroom more so.

Pros: a pretty view of the water, comfortable bed, and spacious room. Cons: pretty far from the main sights in Alexandria, it wasn't the cleanest (there were poop stains in the toilet when we checked into our room), and I disliked how they didn’t allow me to order food to eat in your room from delivery apps. Hilton Alexandria Corniche is a wonderful hotel, 10 stars. My 5 days stay was full of great service from the moment I stepped in until my check out. The pool service staff is wonderful in special Kawther Ahmed, I can only say she is simply wonderful and provides excellent service to the guests using the pool, same with the life ward, this young boy pays close attention to whats happening and makes kids to feel welcomed by providing pool toys, specially making sure they are safe. The Spa service is above and beyond, I had a 1 hour massage and a Marrocan Bath plus a .5 hour massage. The only downgrade is the timing for massages, I am a fibromalgia patient, and I need at least 90 minutes massage in order to feel pain relieved. However, Habiba Tamer made sure those 60 minutes were worty, and gave me one of the bests massages ever. I felt very relaxed and achy relieved.The restaurant in level B2 is delicious, the whole restaurant staff can't be more attentive, and the chefs in special the evening buffet chef is wonderful. The service in overall is exceptional. Excellent service, excellent hotel, excellent room service, clean, and stocked. Definitely I will be coming back for sure, and staying in this marvelous hotel.

This resort is like a little jewel by the beach. Compared to what is around it is WAY BETTER.

The staff are absolutely impeccable they are driven to great service and making sure the customer is happy. Always GENUINELY asking if the experience could be better. Staff were amazing. The property itself is a bit old and there Are taxi drivers around the property ready to take advantage and over-charge tourists! Make sure you only use Uber in Alexandria. You will be guaranteed an air-conditioned car for CHEAPER than the yellow and black cabs.

Do yourself a favor and never stay here. First when I went to check in they had me wait in lobby for over 3 hours. I was understanding because I’m partially to blame Checked in two days late to reservation which are absolutely not refundable. Had to wait for a person name Ahmed to check me in guessing is the manager of hotel reception. My stay was from the 13-19 asked them to change it to 14-20 they inform me not possible then they proceeded to downgrade my room cause apparently my room is booked (smh). Next day I try to explore but realize need to exchange currency ask the reception who inform me about an bank atm in lobby which kinda hidden I’m guessing for privacy. I insert $480 and the machine take all my money not returning a dime or receipt. Spoke to the front desk hoping they would be able to help who make me wait an hour to see a manger and the manager tells me the machine is out of service “did you not see the sign “ told him there is no sign he checks and the sign is on top of atm manger reposts sign and tells me to call the bank and speak to them. I explain to the manager I don’t have a eqyptian number and the call won’t go through. After refusing to help me any further I leave to try to enjoy the rest of my vacation. Came back to to hotel and see a guest arguing with reception about my same problem i check to see if the out of service was removed. Sign removed and not even on top of atm. Returned to my room and my dress shoes are gone ( I’m only here for wedding).

We stayed at the Hilton for 17 days. Mai who cleaned our rooms and Mina at La Gourmande were sweet, caring and funny. All staff were wonderful and gave a little extra. Loved the Christmas concert by a school and the lovely Christmas music everyday. Would be nice if there was a store inside where we could by candy bars, chips.

Excellent hotel by the sea.

Overall it was a great experience. The location, service, cleanliness except one aspect (see below), friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were outstanding. The shuttle to go to the private beach across the street was a fantastic touch considering how busy the road is. Only one thing was missing. The bed while comfortable and clean otherwise did not have a top sheet between the bottom sheet and the comforter. We prefer not to be in contact with the comforter so that was the only complain.
