Very poor experience. No instructions before arrival, no staff on site, and no communication at all during the stay. The room was smaller than advertised and the listing didn’t even explain which door to use, leaving several guests confused.

The headboards were too low and right under wall plugs, which made the setup uncomfortable and unsafe. Nothing about the stay felt welcoming or properly managed.

Wasting time to do the check in beacause the website couldn't approve the documents prepared.
It was too noisy and i was in room number 13 near to toilet and i heard all noises by the morning. I couldn't sleep well. The toilet was not clean. In total I wasn't satisfied and I don't recommend this hotel. This was my first bad experience in a 10 days journey.

This part of Šiška is charming and serene. I would choose Family Guesthouse over any hostel or hotel in the city center. You get a view of suburban life here that those other locations can’t offer. The Kino Šiška bus stop and Mercator are close.

Nice hostel. Rooms are big enough and we'll maintained. bed were comfortable. Full kitchen available to use. Free parking. Only down fall was the check in was confusing but I figured it out eventually.

Quiet, clean and affordable rooms. We stayed in one with shared bathrooms but may not have soap and shampoo so bring your own. Kitchen access. It comes with parking. 45 minute walk to town center or 7 minutes drive to center. Reception is unmanned so make sure you read directions on door.

Family visit to Slovenia

Be prepared when you check in, you scan a barcode go to a website then upload your passport photos and pay the local tax. Then you get the passcode to get in. Not horrible but should be full explained before you book. -Maybe it was but I didn't see it. Not sure why you can't do it all before arriving at the door. PLace is OK but not deluxe.

The place was very nice and clean. Check-in and check-out was very easy and convenient. The hosts were readily available to help with any needs or if we had any questions. The plants and postcard collection made it feel very nice and pleasant.

Brought my 4 person family here. Loved the city!
This is pretty much a Hostel. SHARED bathrooms. We were not expecting this. Thought was 4 bed 2-bath apartment. It is not...missed the note about that.

They charged us for cleaning when we arrived and the place was filthy. Spiders, stains, food crumbs from previous tenants, cat poo everywhere outside, I have many pictures to post.
I also complained before I arrived because they asked for extra money when I had already paid Expedia for city and property taxes. I needed to pay an extra €17.60 for cleaning and VAT. As I mentioned already the place was filthy. Hairs on the floor around the shower, black mold everywhere in the shower. It was worse than a hostel. When I tried to explain I had already paid taxes and show the receipt the owner was very stern that I still needed to pay more. I had already paid €86 for the dump! I'd like some money to be returned and this property to be taken off Expedia.

Cheap and cheerful

I stayed here for 10 nights and the host Sergi was extremely helpful whenever I need something. The place is in quite residential areas and 30 minutes walking distance from city centre. All the amenities are provided for self catering. It is cheap and cheerful place for short stay.

The guesthouse was clean and had everything you required. The location is in a Residential area which makes it quiet but its excellent for going to the museums, getting into the city and finding decent bars. The host was polite and courteous, nothing was ever a problem and he also did a good breakfast one morning for me.

I didn't like the bathroom situation - it's a mutual one. Otherwise the room was clean in generally. The room doors were ancient and should be changed. Staff was friendly.
It was relativelly cheap and it provides what you pay for.

Lovely, affordable accommodations in Ljubljana.

I had a wonderful stay at Family Guesthouse! My room/apartment was very clean and comfortable, the staff also very helpful and accommodating. A bit outside of the center on a nice, quiet street and nearby to many restaurants and bars.

Ljubljana 2 day trip

Needed to take one bus then walked for 5-10 mins to get there. Buy bus card (2 Euro, refundable w receipt) and load 1.2 euro pp per trip to card at info center or bus station. There is a supermarket at bus stop but closes early on Sunday. Breakfast with fee was not available during my stay. Due to old wood farm house we could hear people talking and walking on second floor where we stayed but there are only three rooms so the noise was brief. Arriva bus to Lake bled stops at the same Niko Sista stop. Pay 5.8 Euro pp one way. Free bicycle rental card provided by owner at check in.

Nice host, far from beach

We were disappointed that the description on Expedia didn't really match the location online - the hotel was nearly an hour and a half walk from the main town which was misrepresented in the information online.

We were not told until we were there that we would have to pay with cash, and were not allowed to pay by card which was frustrating as four nights accommodation for four people is costly.

Our room was entered every day by staff, but we are not sure what they did - floors remained unswept and the bathroom not cleaned which was disappointing.

L appartement etait au sous sol avec de petites lucarnes.Il etait propre mais la literie tres inconfortable, la salle de bain etait un placard avec une petite cabine de douche bouchée et un mini lave main + toilette, c etait bruyant avec un chien qui aboyait, le train passer et
on entendait les gens entrer et sortir et les roulettes des valises qui pasaient au niveau des lucarnes.

As roupas de cama e banho estavam limpas e cheirosas e o anfitrião é gentil e prestativo. Mas .....
O espaço não está limpo, tinha restos de comida dentro da pia, as louças mal lavadas e gavetas empoeiradas. Tinha roupa de hospede anterior na gaveta.
Precisa de muita manutenção e melhorias: o chuveiro vaza agua e inunda o pequenissimo banheiro. Mofo e paredes descascadas por todo canto.
Fica em um porão com duas pequenas janelas.
Sentimos frio pois o aquecimento não funcionou bem.

Trés bon séjour, un soucis sur la taxe de séjour

Le séjour s'est très bien passé, la gestion de notre arrivée tardive était très bien. La chambre, l'hotel... tout était super.
Dommage que l'hôtel nous réclame 12.52€ de taxe de séjour alors que hotels.com nous dit qu'il y avait 9,40€ de taxes à régler sur place.

Cheap, goodt location, but very used appartment.

In the basement. Everything worked, smelled like a cellar. Warm inside, the windows opened took long to cool it down. Only 27 celsius outside. Very friendly staff. Parking on road outside hotel.Wifi worked ok.

1, De gastheer verwelkomde ons nauwelijks want hij was alleen maar bezig met geld, hij had haast leek het wel en geen aandacht voor ons als gast.

2, ik had een kamer besteld met een twee persoons bed en we kregen een kamer met 4 losse bedden. De bedden waren niet opgemaakt en het beddengoed en de handdoeken waren erg oud en roken niet fris.

3, De wc's en de badkamers hebben een opknapbeurt nodig, losse en oude wc brillen. Er zijn geen handdoeken om de handen af te drogen als je ze hebt gewassen. In de badkamer zit de douchekop houder op borsthoogte aan de muur gemonteerd zodat de stal horizontaal naar voren spuit. Het is erg lastig om normaal te douchen. Er is geen trekker aanwezig dus de vloer is nat en vies met de haren van degene die voor je is geweest nog op de vloer.

4, de keuken is vies en erg klein met oude spullen.

5 er is geen tv op de kamer terwijl die er op de fotos op de site wel is. In de keuken is een 15 inch tv-tje aan de muur gemonteerd maar de afstandsbediening is plakkerig omdat de keuken niet goed schoongemaakt word. Alles in het huis is eigenlijk een beetje goor.

6 op de kamer zijn alleen de bedden en 4 stoelen. Er is een kleine kast voor je spullen maar die willen we vanwege de hygiëne niet gebruiken. We leven dus uit de koffer. Er is geen tafeltje om te kunnen eten en alles is erg oud.

Kortom, een erg slechte lokatie. Ook al is het erg goedkoop is de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding verschrikkelijk. Ik raad het iedereen af hier te verblijven.

Bereits vor Anreise hatte ich Probleme mit dem Besitzer. Er war vulgär am Telefon, danach wollte ich die Unterkunft stornieren. Er beharrte jedoch darauf, obwohl Ebookers im anrief. Zudem legte er mir eibfach das Telefon auf! Worst Place ever!
