Visible dust and cobwebs on the ceiling, moldy shower edges, and no drinking water. Only one bottle of water was provided in lieu of the 'unsafe' tap water. Room generally felt dark and dated, with not even a kettle to boil water. Breakfast was OK, limited selection of just two hot foods and food area was cramped. Location is convenient but a bit dodgy as next to a dimly lit park.

The room was exceptionally clean with a lovely view of the castle. Rok had upgraded us to a deluxe room on the 12th floor. I think it's really cool that the hotel is part of the Bee Path with bee hives on the top floor outside. They were hibernating when we were there in December. Rok had also provided toothpaste & toothbrushes, since our luggage had been delayed. TY Rok! Very good breakfast hours & choices. Best mattress in our 3.5 week travels. B&B Hotels are very environmentally oriented.

Nice hotel just a short walk from the centre of Ljubljana. The room was clean and had everything we needed including a mini fridge and kettle. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The only issue was related to the key cards - they could only offer us one key (for 2 people) and required an additional deposit for this. Apparently they were having some issues with the key card system so I assume this affected everyone. Besides this minor inconvenience, the hotel was very good and I would stay again

Overall the hotel service is good, only thing bothers me is the light in the room. I understand they try to be environmentally friendly, but the room is so dark. I turned on almost all the light it's still dark. They probably should use the LED bulbs which is bright enough and low on electrical usage. At the same time, the room is minimum for everything.

Highly recommend the Hotel Park. I stayed here 25 years ago - it had a plain student dorm sort of vibe then. It’s been upgraded and modernized but still has a sort of simple minimalist design, which I like. No unnecessary fluff. Great location. Awesome breakfast.
We found a commercial parking garage two blocks away. It cost 30 euros for about 24 hours.

The hotel is in a quiet location, but within easy walking distance of the town centre, which makes it ideal for short stays, either for business or to see Ljubljana. The room was basic but comfortable, clean and well maintained. The free WiFi worked well and it was easy to connect to, but as there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, I went out to a cafe to do some email catch up instead. On the whole, I can recommend the hotel and would use it again.

A great B&B hotel!!

I really enjoyed this B&B hotel. My previous experience in Italy wasn’t that great. The breakfast was fabulous and they had great filtered coffee which I had been missing quite a bit when I was in Italy. They offer bags storage even after check out. Walking distance to the train and bus stations.

Excellent séjour confortable à l’hôtel B&B Hôtel Ljubljana. L’hôtel est bien situé somme toute dans la ville, à 10 minutes de la gare de train et du terminus d’autobus, mais également à 5 minutes de la section piétonne du centre-ville. La chambre était confortable et propre, la salle de bain moderne. C’est un grand hôtel sur plusieurs étages avec beaucoup de clients. La vue du 8e étage était belle. Le petit-déjeuner était un peu « léger », mais tout de même frais, propre et beaucoup de tables disponibles.

We were able to store our luggage and came back later for check in. The staff were kind enough to prepare us takeaway breakfast as we're leaving early and not able to enjoy their buffet breakfast. Great place to stay for my family

It is a perfect junior suite for my family of 3 people. The location is also great for exploring the city and it has good selection of restaurants for dinner.

Breakfast is sufficient and that's what you need for a city that has very good selections for lunch and dinner.

Service is great. The view of the room is an added bonus.

The property is in the convenient location. It closes to main attractions and bus/train station. the room is small and there is one chair in the room, so we have tosit in the bed all the time, which cause my backache. In addition, both our side and corridor are noisy. Kids are chatting every night at 10 pm. outside people in the park are also very loud.

At first glance, this place checks all the boxes of a hotel - it looks like one, smells like one, and operates like one - but the hospitality was seriously lacking. The staff showed little effort or enthusiasm in making guests feel welcome.

When we requested a refrigerator, we were flatly told that only \"superior\" rooms had them and there was nothing they could do. The only alternative was an ice machine in the lobby, with small drink cups as the only option for transport—hardly convenient.

The real disappointment came when we asked for a to-go breakfast for an early flight. Apparently, orders had to be placed by noon - something that was never communicated. The staff showed zero flexibility, wouldn’t even leave a note for the morning team, and offered no alternative. Not even an apple for the road.

While the hotel displays cheerful quotes about smiling and service, our experience was anything but. Dirty glasses weren’t replaced when our room was refreshed, and the paper-thin walls meant we heard every noise from our neighbors. The location is convenient, and it provides a place to sleep, but the lack of effort from the staff left us disappointed.

This hotel was fantastic! Very clean and easy to navigate to and from the city on foot. The main bus station is only a 10 min walk away as well, making it an ideal location to get to neighbouring cities. The breakfast was pretty basic, but good. To my surprise, the room had a mini fridge which was a nice bonus. No safe in the room though. Hotel staff was very kind, especially Naža, who went above and beyond in helping with any issues I encountered. I’ll definitely be back!

We liked that the hotel is a “member of Bee Path in Ljubljana” and that they ‘keep Bees’.

The shower holder was broken which despite being reported on check-in, did not get fixed during our stay.
The beside light was missing a bulb/lamp, meaning the connectors were potentially ‘Live’, despite being reported on check-in, did not get fixed during our stay
The Triple Room is too small for 3 people to be comfortable.
The towels were like small white sheets of sandpaper!
We discovered the lovely roof terrace with great views over the city which we hadn’t been told about at check-in!

It’s old hotel and need some renovations. For example shower into bathroom was broken, also bathroom was a little bid wasted. The breakfast was quite poor for the price of the room.
Also coffee was with terrible taste.
But the hotel is at great location and walkable distance from Dragon bridge.

It was fine...

Basic hotel room , rather sterile. I was disappointed by 2 things. The servers at breakfast seemed to be trying to outdo each other in making the most noise as they cleared dirty dishes. Very loud and made it hard to enjoy our meal. It was raining most of the time we were there and the hotel doesn't provide umbrellas. They only had them for sale for 9 Euros.

This is a very good hotel in a nice quiet area of Ljubljana. About a 10 minute walk from the bus and train. Slovenia has a focus on sustainability, so airconditioning in hotels is only ‘allowed’ during summer months as advised by reception. However when I provided feedback via hotels.com that the hotel’s advertising did not stipulate this, they provided me with access. The rooms are a good size. Beds are comfortable. There is a fridge and safe in the room. Breakfast was good. My only concerns were the rather threadbare towels provided and the very loud exhaust fan in the bathroom which is hardwired to the light, so every time you go to the bathroom it comes on! And the reason this hotel lost a star from me was because of the very poor internet. Was extremely slow or dropped out. Not acceptable in 2024!

Convenient and clean, v bad parking advice

The hotel itself was clean and service was friendly, with an average breakfast. There was no parking available so if you're bringing a car, this is not a convenient place for you. I had to go through a restricted lot (get out of the car to press a buzzer that would alert them of a car and lower some blockades that allow access) just to unload and then had to park on the street.

I asked the reception whether it was ok to park there and they assured me it was safe and it was free. Imagine my surprise when I returned two days later only to see two tickets on my car's dashboard after I had parked overnight. For travelers who don't know the rules of street parking (some are free while others are not), I had asked about street cleaning and whether I needed to move my car on certain days and he assured me it wasn't an issue. Moreover, the tickets weren't even easy to pay off. They had to be paid through an online banking system and if you don't have a bank account in Europe, you're kind of screwed. We couldn't even pay it through a machine so it was a huge hassle and annoyance that could have been avoided had we gotten sound advice from the hotel staff. I know we are responsible to read all the parking signage but I assure you there weren't signs in the vicinity of the space. Besides this pretty major oversight, the location was convenient, walking distance to Open Kitchen and city center. Breakfast could be a lot better. Juice was not freshly squeezed, eggs were unremarkable.

The room is a good size, bright, clean bathroom (the rain shower is amazing)! There is a mini fridge for drinks.

The hotel is surrounded by residential buildings with lots of families around.

It is about a 10-12 minute walk to the bus station that go to the airport, Lake Bled and Postojna Cave. The town square is about 5 minute walk- honestly with what you see around you wouldn’t mind the walk.

Located just outside city center you can walk to most areas. The hotel will provide you with a parking permit for €10 a day. That is actually a really good deal. Our room was clean. It was nice. Sometimes it was a little noisy and the noise was coming from the outside not within the hotel. I would stay there again they were very nice and accommodating to me.

This hotel is nicely situated near a community park and elementary school. It has 12 stories and a top communal deck that houses 2 bee hives and of course honey combs. The rooms are modern and lean close to the small size. We are people of 5’5” size and the rooms feels a little tight. The view is sufficient as it overlooks the park the city with its’ many buildings. This hotel was several blocks away from the main bus and train station which if I walked it at my own pace, would be about 10-12 minutes. We took longer due to the pace of my older mother-in-law. Uber is not an option in Slovenia.

The breakfast buffet was good with the many selections. There are many people in this hotel and the selections they have was perfect. It was 10💶 per person extra, which was not included in our checkout via Orbitz. We also had to pay the hotel/VAT tax for all the hotels we stayed at (just FYI).

The amenities were sparse here besides the dining area such as for the breakfast and a la carte dining times. There was no pool or sauna that was recommended or seen in the hotel booklet.

The front desk was a matter of fact with little to no smile. English was spoken fine with no issues.

Overall, this is a fair option for the budget conscious person and who may not mind the lack of amenities the hotel provides.

We arrived early (noon) for check in, and understandably, were told to come back as check in was at 3, as they had 115 people to check out/clean rooms. The staff person directed us to a parking ramp near by. He said it was less expensive than street parking (which had to be paid every 4 hours @ 1.4 euros/hour). We left our luggage (locked area), and came back at 3.
A woman was at the desk, and she said our room wasn’t ready and we had to come back at 3:30 or 4…as they had 115 people to check out. At the same time, another staff person was negotiating a room rate with a walk-in, and they got a room right away. When another young couple came in (without a reservation), and were getting a room I started to complain. Bingo, our room magically was ready. Low and behold…not a cleaning person in site to ‘ready our room’. So…check in was not pleasant.
I had booked a room with a ‘castle view’ over 6 months prior. See the photo of what the view was like lying in our bed, and the main view from our window of the building next door. We had to stand in the opposite corner of the room and stretch to see a view of the castle out our window. Take any other view but the castle one!

Also, the parking ramp was $28 for 20 hours just FYI

The hotel staff and location is what makes this such a great place to stay. The beds are on the firm side and the breakfast buffet is pretty limited, however it's a short walk away from the heart of Old Town and there are many restaurants in the area. As an added bonus you have the option to get fresh honey from the bee hives on the roof.

Absolutely pleased on the quality out of this budget hotel. I stayed 2 non sequential nights so got to use 2 different rooms. Both very new, recently renovated. I loved the very power showers, the minimalist design and the excellent breakfast (freshly baked croissants). Staff was also very helpful, gave me some needed tips and helped me out printing a document I needed. Thank you!

The hotel was clean. The check in process started with a 30 minute wait in line. Then the man checking me in questioned why I would need 1 room for 4 people, because “rooms are for 2 people”. I’m not sure why he felt the need to tell me this because we booked and paid in advance for 1 room for my family of 4. My children are 7 & 10, so I told him we are not in the practice of booking a separate hotel room for our children. Not to mention that they offer family rooms, with a queen bed and pull out double bed. It was all very confusing and pointless. We got to the room and shortly after we noticed a lot of loud club music playing. We went to dinner and came home around 10 and the music was still playing. I went to the front desk and asked if there was a night club nearby. They informed me it was a birthday party on the roof, (we were staying on the 11th floor) that was sure to finish at 10:30. We went to bed and woke up to the trance music thumping louder. We finally went back down to the front desk at 2 am and asked why the party was still going so loudly. They assured us they would have it shut down. We eventually got back to sleep. The man I spoke with at checkout did apologize, however, I would not recommend this hotel based on the general lack of good service by the staff from the previous day.

I had a great time at the B&B Hotel Ljubljana Park. The hotels location was perfect, right between the old town and central station.
I was pleasantly surprised by the room and the hotel altogether.
The staff was super friendly and helpful!
I would absolutely stay there again the next time I’m in Ljubljana.

The location is great
The hotel has running water that’s about it
The check out time is 11:00 but the cleaning staff will be hoovering outside your room from 8:30 daily
Walls are thin gap in the door allows so much light in you will know when anyone enters the floor from the lift they will also alert you with the slamming door. curtains do not shut fully so you will catch the sunrise

Nice comfortable hotel in the city of Ljubljana, staffs were very good at English and helpful. Within walking distance to the city centre, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast as we left the hotel very early in the morning.

Everything was very nice. The only issue is that this hotel caters to Chinese tourists.

Almost every morning while I was here the breakfast room was packed with said group, who are loud, pushy, and wasteful. It is more quiet and peaceful later on around 8:30 or 9:00. Almost every evening I was here, sometime between 17:00 - 19:00 a new group would come and completely block the lobby, stairwell, and elevators with no concern for others.

The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and kind. However, if management is going to make economical decisions that cater to Chinese tour groups, other travelers need to know, because it is not a comfortable environment.

The hotel itself is fine, a short walk (5 minutes) into downtown. My issue is the customer service provided and how greatly it impacted me.

I arranged with the hotel upon checking in to have a taxi ready at 5am the next day to the airport. I even confirmed a 2nd time. Long story short, the taxi didn't show up, there was no urgency on the hotel's part to order another, they kept saying it was only running 5-10 minutes late, and myself as well as another gentleman ended up not making our flight. We finally got in taxis at 5:30am. Part of the issue with us not making this flight is that the flight was greatly overbooked, but, it is likely if we arrived 30 minutes earlier as scheduled we would have been able to get on the flight. I was delayed more than 24 hours to my final destination as a result.

Do not trust this hotel to provide a taxi when they say they will.
