We loved the little cation and our room had an amazing view of the castle and the center of town. Our only disappointment was the dated nature of our room. While the massage chair was a cute touch, it was worn and not inviting. Our balcony had only plastic uncomfortable chairs so we didn't spend anytime there. The breakfast was a surprise with a wide variety and local flavor.

Great location and a lovely pool

I used the pool each day and really enjoyed the swim. Breakfast was good. There was plenty of choice on the buffet. We did use the cafe and the cakes were lovely but it is a shame that the restaurant doesn’t have a better choice of evening meals. Our room was very clean - the chairs were not comfortable for us to use for a long period of time.

Lack of a bath math

The hotel is very beautifull and located. People are friendly and helpfull. The reason they did not get a 5 star was thw lack of a bath math in the shower. Important and extremelly needed for elderly safety.

Overnight stay for a quick visit.
Perfect location to centre.
Room and bathroom was nice and big with a small balcony with a great view of the castle.
Personally we would say the pillows were way too soft and would have been nice to have an option.

Poor house keeping. I Left a note and tip for extra towel, she took the tip but there was no extra towel!!! For our 3 nights stay, she didn't tidy up the room. Only bed was done. Ao frustrating.

Decor is extremely old and tired, cockroaches near lift on 2nd floor and the design of the shower made no sense.

Lovely hotel in an excellent and very central location. The room eas newly refurbished and had a great view of the castle (705). The only issue was with the A/C in the room, which had a mind of it's own and therefore disrupted my sleep. It wouldn't set to what I pressed, and also couldnt turn it off. The people in the next room had the same issue, so maybe a teething trouble with new kit.

City visit to Ljubljana

The hotel's location was perfect for our stay in Ljubljana. The hotel is not super-new (the room felt a bit old), but everything was very well organized. We liked the breakfast. The room was very clean. We definitely enjoyed our stay, and if we need to go back to Lubljana again in the future, we will stay here again

Generally excellent hotel close to the centre. The buffet breakfast is ample and very good. The television in my room did not work and could not be fixed during my short stay. The tub/shower arrangement is a bit treacherous getting in and out.

The staff is extremely helpful and very polite. I had a double booking issue and the manager, Zorzo, solved the problem expeditiously.

The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. It’s located within 100 feet from a super market and about 100 yards from the city center.

The breakfast is great. Food is fresh and there are a variate of it. There is also a small gym and a pool.

I highly recommend it.

On arrival, reception said they had a maintenance issue so had upgraded us to the sister Hotel Union next door. Therefore my review is really for that hotel, but the two hotels share some facilities e.g. swimming pool and will have some shared standards and staffing.

Service was excellent throughout, especially when they found my husband's lost property.

Breakfast very good, with great quality and selection of food.

Location is brilliant, walking distance from sights, shops, restaurants and station.

We really enjoyed our stay.

This was a great way to end my trip to Slovenia! The staff were the friendliest that I had encountered during my trip. I had stated at a different hotel in Ljubliana at the beginning of my trip but much preferred this one. It was quiet, clean, everyone was friendly. I chose to self park and the stalls are a bit small/tight but that’s common. I could have done valet which would have been easier I am sure. The pool isn’t heated but I knew that and am used to swimming in cold canadian waters so I loved it. Refreshing! Walking distance to everything. Easy to get around. I loved it and would stay again!

The property was amazing! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and sauna were a perfect place to either start your day or relax and unwind at the end. The hotel is only a stone throw from Prešeren Square. Anytime I come to Ljubljana this is where I’m staying!

Front desk made it seem like I inconvenienced them by asking for a room with a working toilet. They gave us a new room which had mold throughout the bathroom. We had a disappointing stay at Eurostars uHotel. The booking was for one night. On arrival, we were delighted to find out that our room had been upgraded with a Castle view. The room was clean and initially met our needs.

However, in the evening, when we were getting ready for bed, our toilet did not flush and the cistern was not filling up with water. We called down to reception who sent a member of the reception team up to check. The gentleman said that he would check if a maintenance person was working and would let us know. We did not hear back from reception and called down again as we were tired and wanted to go to bed. The Receptionist informed us that there was no maintenance person available until 8am and that they were fully booked so there was nothing they could do.

This was extremely frustrating as a basic need of going to the toilet could not be met and we had to travel from the 7th floor down to reception during the night to use the toilet. This was unacceptable.

In addition to the toilet, the air conditioning did not work and the room was extremely hot throughout the night.

We alerted staff to the issues in the morning but by this point, nothing could be rectified as were leaving.

The hotel could not offer us any form of a refund as booked theough Expedia.

We feel very disappointed with our stay and having spent a lot of money to not even have basic needs being met. Despite the room issues, the hotel staff were welcoming.

Eurostars was a nice hotel with great rooms, windows to look out at the city skyline, and nice amenities. We had two kids with us (12 and 9) and we were disappointed to learn that the pool has a max capacity of 20 people in two hour shifts. On a hot summer day the kids were very bummed out to not be able to cool off for a bit. The parking garage also has a small capacity for less than 40 cars so it was full when we arrived at 4pm and had to park and walk to the hotel. The front desk team was amazing - super helpful and friendly. And the breakfast buffet was impressive. I felt like royalty with the wide range of offerings and large dining room to enjoy a meal with my family. Extremely close to the river and restaurants, location is ideal! Would book again. Great stay. Thanks to the great staff.

Description of \"Parking Available\" is a little misleading as for our entire stay we didn't manage to het into the car park once as it was full so we had to park at the expensive commercial carpark.

Pool is nice but again far too small for the size of the hotel and you need to book the day before.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location. Bang in the center of the city with the river just a couple of minutes away. Loads of restaurants nearby and along the river bank. The staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Our room was very nice and large but there was a lot of empty space where they could have put some chairs/sofas to relax in or provided some extra storage space for clothes as what was provided was very limited. We would also have liked at least one English news channel on TV - either BBC or CNN. Very unusual for a 4 star hotel not to provide this

Great quality hotel in the centre of Ljubljana. A bit noisy, right by a number of churches but we slept fine most of the time. Great breakfast and the pool was a great treat on such a hot few days. Would be happy to stay again.

This is a beautiful hotel with rooms with many amenities. Very high end, 4 star hotel. The staff was very helpful with directions and pointing the way to a store for specific items I needed. Very central location - within walking distance to town square, great shopping, and tourist sights. Their buffet breakfast was amazing, one of the best I have been to in years. Parking on site was available, but I got one of the last spaces - was very tight. I highly recommend this hotel - you will not be disappointed.

Great location, right in the center of the old town. Walking distance to everywhere. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast was good and with fair amount of varieties. The only downside is the hotel condition which is rather old and needs some tender loving care.

Although the staff are nice and the facilities not bad for an inner city hotel, the room was very dated and just generally needs a refit. Slight smell of smoke, I assume from people previously being able to smoke on the balcony, and a strange massage chair in the middle of the room - not quite what I had expected, still nice to have a pool

Hotel is dated, but nice. Think clean 70s vibe. Location is good and very easy walk to both train/bus station as well as city center. If you are there on a Friday, be sure to take advantage of Open Kitchen.

On a negative note, the hotel had difficulty locating our full reservation (2 rooms, not one) and we were passed off to another service member. This pass off was poorly done and the situation not fully explained. As a result, the new member again attempted to check us into 1 room. This is a small hiccup, but as this billed as a 4-Star hotel, this first impression of the hotel was not as strong as it could have been.
