Smelly room, housekeeper left their pee in our toilet for when we got there and the sewage kept leaking back through the toilet. Not very nice. Reception was hard to find and receptionist was rude and acted like we were stupid because we didn’t get an email showing us where to go. Good location

The location was brilliant and was close to the city and food areas. Basic amenities such as a soap tray in the shower and a place to hang the toilet roll was lacking. There was a large storage hole/loft in the ceiling that was a bit confronting at first. It was more like a hostel, not an apartment as there was no closet for clothes or anywhere to unpack.No cleaning took place for the duration of our 5 day stay. Some cleaning was needed due to the wet weather, etc

Only good nothing going for this hostel is its location. Right in the middle of it all. Less than a 2 minute walk to the Dragon Bridge. Unfortunately being in a heavily pedestrian area, you hear everyone talking outside your window. And there’s a bench right outside, frequented by teenagers smoking. Not a great place to catch some zzz

Great location!

Very basic hotel, a bit noisy at night time, but I was still able to get a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly. Just keep in mind that you check in at a hostel a few doors down, but the staff will walk you to your building. The hotel's location cannot be beat!

The hotel/hostel is right on the canal, a minute from the Dragon Bridge. It is a very basic hotel but was comfortable enough for us. We stayed 2 nights and found it to be enough for what we needed.
The bathroom had hand wash and shower gel. There was AC which worked well.

Good location, just check complete when you stay.

The room renovation not complete 2 room lights and 1 bed light missing and side power not enabled and no side table

Aircon not working and very hot room, mgmt tried to check setting but unable to resolve. As ground floor street window, too noisy to keep window open at night, room very hot and stuff no ventilation.
Bathroom was not really clean.

Reception staff above and beyond try to help. Very friendly, great local knowledge and good food suggestions + transportation logistics useful.

Have stayed at other places co mgd beside this property
All good.. just an unfitness unfortunate blip.

Call for first keeping to clean again if not to standard. We were tired so skipped doing this. But they are very helpful so I'm sure they would accommodate.

Highly recommended

This property was a nice and a welcoming way to start our European trip. The staff reserved a taxi to pick us up from the airport, which was greatly appreciated, especially since we arrived late night. While it was difficult to find the entrance to the rooms, I later found out that the staff had also enclosed directions how to get to my room, thank you. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The main reason we chose Rooms Sincere is because they offer private bathrooms rather than shared ones. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The USB charger I brought did not work and they lent me one during my stay. I recommend Rooms Sincere 1830.

Great budget stay!

Is it fancy? No. There are some marks on the walls and other small things, BUT if you're like me and don't care about small cosmetic stuff, this place is perfect! Very centrally located by the Dragon Bridge, the bed was comfortable, A/C worked great, WiFi was strong and quick, room was clean. I travel with my own pillow, ear plugs and eye mask, so I can't comment on that stuff. I would definitely stay here again!

The location is good, but the room was very basic and the WiFi didn't work most of the time we were there. The credit card machine didn't work either so we had to go get cash to pay the bill. The room and bathroom were okay, but it didn't seem that the bathroom had been that thoroughly cleaned (I saw hairs on the towel rack that definitely didn't belong to me or my partner, and the tiles on the walls didn't look like they had been wiped down). The tap on the sink was loose, so whenever you turned it on it moved around. The metal side table next to the bed looked like it had been burned by cigarettes or something and was really stained, which was just not a very welcoming or comforting look.

This property was okay and sufficient but I was aspecting better based on reviews. It is a very basic room- expected and totally fine. However, the cleanliness was questionable and disappointing. There was a visible through the sheets mystery stain on the bed and debris and hair were on the clean sheets. There was also a faint sewer smell throughout the stay. The room was stuffy with no way to remedy. The staff were extremely friendly and the location was great. The price was raised because we stayed over New Years so it definitely was not worth what we paid.

We had a challenge finding the property when we arrived, because it was in the evening and the street is poorly lit. Thankfully we had a flashlight, which we suggest is a must if you are arriving after dark. The service was excellent, the room in good condition and clean.

Wonderfully central. Nothing fancy; this is a a hostel with private rooms. Good water pressure and amount to get thru 2 long showers without difficulty. Kettle in room, but only tea no instant coffee. Beds a bit hard for my taste but not bad! I would consider this property again on returning to the city.

Great location for a city break

A short city break to Ljubljana.
Easy walk to this riverside place from the bus station ( 15 minutes max).
Good location for the city centre. a short walk to bars and restaurants.
Bit worried it would be noisy, as its right by the road, but it was quiet at night time.
Recently refurbished ( with some work outside still to do )

The place is within a couple of minutes walk from the Dragon Bridge and about 10-15 minutes from the railway station and bus terminal, location is great. There's also a supermarket just across the river.
It is clean and comfortable. Our room had 3 beds, best for 2 adults and a child, with a leafy riverside view.

Compact family room with mezzanine beds above the double was clean and big enough for a weekend. The best thing for tourists is the location, literally on the doorstep of the main sights. Only minor negative is the shared coffee machine in the hall is very noisy, cheap acceptable coffee though.

Better than it looks from the outside

Don't be put off by the graffiti. This is being dealt with I think. This was much better than it looked and incredible value for the price. A mix between hotel and hostel there really a few converted houses in the row. Friendly, helpful staff and very clean. Good shower and brilliant location right next to city centre. Really quiet at night and in day in spite of location. Excellent speedy WiFi included. What's not to like. It's not just appealling to the young hippy backpackers as us old crinklies found it excellent considering the price.

Reasonably priced hotel in a very good location.

Check in is at the hostel a few doors down, the staff were friendly. We stayed in Room1 which had a bed, a kettle and some built in shelves - basic but clean. The room was well insulated the heating worked well (essential with 4 inches of snow). The bathroom was modern and the shower surprisingly powerful. Location wise I could not fault it, right on the river a few metres from the Dragon bridge and lots of really good bars and restaurants. It was very quiet and we slept well. There are arrangements with a couple of local restaurants for a reasonably priced breakfast roll and coffee or orange (5 euro's). We did get diverted to Zagreb as the Ljubljana airport was snowbound and the transfer was a bit of a nightmare as you have to go through two borders and then we got stuck in traffic which lost us most of our first day. We went to the castle via the funicular rail rather than walking- it was 10 euro's including the castle exhibits, but you can get to the grounds for free if you want. We only went round the city centre but it's lovely, interesting old buildings and some great bridges with an abundance of classic and modern statues and sculptures. We plan to go back in the Summer one day!

Nice hostel in the city center

The hostel is near the dragon bridge in the city center. The rooms are small, clean, with very little furniture and not even one poster. Please, buy Audrey Hepburn in IKEA at least. Bathroom is new and clean. You get clean towels every morning. The tea is on the house. The staff was friendly and helpful. One of them even spoke with me in Serbian, with respect like I am a valuable customer. The other one booked me the shuttle in less then 10 minutes. The only thing that was awful was air-conditioning that couldn't have been switched off. It's so loud I had to turn on the music to fall asleep. I didn't ask them to switch it off, though.

Nothing glamorous, could do with a bit of paint but was comfortable and spacious enough, and for a great price and excellent location. My only gripe really was when lifting the toilet seat, I put my finger straight onto someone's old sticky urine stain, which was not pleasant! However, I would stay again if ever in Ljubljana.

The location was great! Close to the old town.
But it was clear that the hotel had ongoing refurbishing. Still a lot things missing in the room e.g bed lamps (it was prepared for it). Shelf in the bathroom and shower. More clothes hangers, Hooks for clothes and towels.
that is adjustable and a higher shower cabin, Coffee mugs that were not damaged. Tea spoons.
A lot of good things though - wifi and air condition great!
Good light in the ceiling. Good TV.

But the position is good, so they take advantage of it, exploiting tourists.

Super dichtbij centrum en drakenbrug.
We mochten ruimschoots al eerder inchecken omdat kamer al klaar was. Prima service, enige nadeel was schuine wand in de kamer waardoor ruimte flink wordt beperkt tov opgegeven vierkante meters.
