We stayed just the 1-night and for that this hotel was perfect! The way to the room was janky and the walking path to our room felt weird. It felt as if the hotel bought the next door building and tried to merge both the architecture together but didn't work out.

The included breakfast spread was great with various many options and a first time I have seen champagne / sparkling wine available :)

Staff was great, room was spacious, breakfast was perfect as well. Location was magnificent. My only feedback is that the advertised pictures of the room on the website are a little over done. The room overall looked tired. Pink carpets looked a little dirty and furniture was also old. The only updated part was the bathroom (great Shape and modern) all and all, I would stay here again until f given the choice

Hallway to the \"back\" part of the hotel where my room was located was a little shabby. And view out to courtyard was terrible, with lots of trash piled up in the courtyard below.

My room was clean, cosy, and comfortable. I only had breakfast once. It was quite busy when I went down but I got seated quickly and the choice of foods was good. The staff were excellent and I was very grateful to check in early after an early flight. One small point to note is the windows are single glazed. I happened to be staying when the marathon was on which meant the city was very noisy at all hours. I was woken up multiple times on Saturday by people partying outside until 4am. I recommend taking ear plugs!

Great stay with wonderful staff & fantastic breakfast. Valet parking was a absolute dream (thank you!). Rooms were incredibly comfortable and clean. Communal areas (corridors) were a bit unusual with doors that opened outwards and some decoration required but very small point. We had a very beautiful stay and look forward to returning.

Check in was friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, only a few minutes walk from the triple bridge and main area of interest. Our room was very large and comfortable. This is a more \"historic\" hotel so the features were a little dated I would say, particularly in the communal areas, and the breakfast area seemed to be undergoing some renovations but overall it was very clean and presentable. Breakfast was good although a little chaotic due to the limited space. The lifts were a bit frustrating - old, small and very slow! That was our only complaint really.

Just around the corner from the main square. Great room with air conditioning! There is some kind of reno going on in the hallway. No problems but it looks kind of questionable until you turn the corner. Everything else is lovely. Would stay here again for sure!

Thank you to the employees at Hotel Slon for a memorable stay. Unfortunately this will be the last time we ever visit Slovenia again. It’s a very anti American country and our disrespectful to our country and our people. If you’re an American definitely skip Slovenia. The hotel we stayed at was good but the city and country are not. Never again. They will learn without Americans there would be no tourism in Europe. Never again and make sure you research countries before you go. The room rates at the hotel where reasonable and the location was perfect.

Breakfast was excellent, so many choices! Air conditioner leaked when I first checked in, but was fixed quickly! Shower was slow to drain. There was a wet spot in the hall rug that was a little slippery, and it was there for my whole stay. Some of the staff were super nice, some just ok. The hotel is absolutely central to all the sights! Overall, I had a very good stay... but they do need to fix a few things.

I was somewhat hesitant to book a best western hotel when visiting Ljubjana, but it seemed the most economical and convenient for our family of 3. We all loved it. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable for 3 of us. The valet parking made parking easy but a bit pricey that we didn’t mind paying for the comfort. We could walk everywhere from the hotel and the breakfast, which was included in the price, another convenience, was amazing. There was everything you could imagine for a breakfast and more, even sparkling wine. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Ljubjana.

The hotel is located in a primarily pedestrianized area with very easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and sightseeing. Valet parking is available which was well worth it considering the area and location of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and courteous and all of them speak English which made things a lot easier even though we used certain (simple) words and phrases in Slovenian. The room was small but adequate and comfortable. Well worth staying here.

The best part of my stay was the front desk staff ensuring I had good internet connection for two very important meetings. The first room had really bad internet signal. I was move to another room with great signal and overall a better room. My suggestion is that they check signals in the room. Outside the first room, signal was okay. Inside, it was terrible. I had no issue once I was moved to a room with a modem outside. The hotel is in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, sites, bus station, Transport etc. I would stay again.

This stay was outstanding!! The best location right by the old town pedestrian area. Breakfast was included and was outstanding… the Front Desk staff were absolutely incredibly helpful…..Giving recommendations for restaurants, where to do laundry, how to take the bus to Lake Bled etc. highly recommend and would stay again. The only downside is that they are doing construction on the inner hotel rooms and we had room 301 and you could hear the hammering and construction happening around 8:30 AM in the morning. But it was not a terrible hindrance to the Visit.

We loved the central location, very close to the main walking area, restaurants, and public transport.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was fantastic. Comfortable beds, very quiet, blackout blinds, and great shower with tub. We sleep amazingly!

The breakfast is delicious with the widest selection of hot and cold food items we have ever had in Europe! Highly recommend

Really good stay here, the hotel is lovely, breakfast was good. The rooms are a little dated, but clean comfortable with good air con. One downside is the shower head wasn’t the same fitting as the pole so we had to hand hold it, the shower layout in general seemed to not quite fit right.
But overall great location and great hotel

We had a great stay here. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. Arriving was tricky as we were driving but the hotel is located on a promenade where cars are not allowed. We finally found out that hotel guests have permission to drive up to the hotel. Check in was easy and quick. The room was comfortable, beds were nice and they even offer a pillow menu. Great view from our room of the promenade. Breakfasts were amazing with a great selection of items offered.

The location couldn’t be better. Hotel is located within walking distance to the river, shops, restaurants and all of the sites of the old town.

The valet service was excellent. They even retrieved my iPad from my car after I left it.

We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location, breakfast and customer service. The room was spacious and overall good though there were a couple of problems with the room as well. First night there, tried to open the wardrobe and the whole door comes off. Thankfully the receptionist got it sorted the next day. A couple of other little fixtures looked like they were on their last leg too, bathroom door hinges for one. It would have been nice to have space in the fridge for water to keep cool etc instead of a full mini bar, I didn't dare move anything in case there were pressure sensors. However the constant restock of cartoned water did make up for this. Air conditioning worked a treat too. Overall, I was very pleased. Absolutely would stay here again.

Location: Ideal. The hotel is situated a short walk from the main train station and an even shorter walk to old town main sites. It is a busy area during the day but very quiet at night. Hotel: Very nice and good for a longer stay. The included breakfast was very nice. Room: We had a nice room overlooking the Main Street, but it was very quiet. Well equipped and clean. Certainly, sufficiently spacious for our 2 night stay. Staff: Were very nice and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

Location: Perfect. Easy walk from the train station and a very short walk to the old town centre. Restaurants, sites and shopping within a couple of blocks. Room: Perfect for a short stay. Clean and comfortable. The inner courtyard is currently having some construction so a little loud during business hours but very quiet at night. Staff: Were very nice and helpful. The staff at breakfast were very efficient and nice. I would stay here again

Good place in very good location

We selected this joker mainly because of its location - within a walking distance to all main touristic attractions. The building itself seems guitar old - like maybe even 50 yrs old, but renovated and modernized inside. The room was quite comfortable with all necessary equipment. Not quite sound proof so we could hear a lot of noise from the main hall as a group of guests had vivid discussion at about midnight. Also noise from the renovation in the backyard was rather annoying. Breakfast buffet - good variety of foods, good service. The staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

This property was impossible to drive to. It is in a pedestrian area only and none of the navigation directions using the two provided by the hotel as well as the actual hotel address took us to the front door of the property. There is no big sign so when you're within the block or two where the navigation takes you to, you cannot visually see where the property is. We drove around the neighborhood for over a half hour before finally drove down into a parking lot, parked the car and then walked then to the street address of the hotel. I wish when these hotels list paid parking that they specify that it is not on site because then I probably would choose a different property. We were traveling from a different country and we did not have phone access to call the property for directions. There is a sauna and a steam room and a gym

Food breakfast, pleasant vibe in the bar, everything else not great. It’s a very aged hotel with everything just being depressingly below the average.

During my stay there were also major demolishing works - you really need to let people know if they’re booking to diggers and drilling working throughout the day. It’s a noticeable hotel policy not to mention anything as the reception staff also don’t mention it anything you can choose between courtyard and town view rooms. Disappointing three days.
