I would definitely come back to this place because of the breakfast. Not only because of the breakfast, but truly—believe me—it’s amazing. I’ve never seen an included hotel breakfast with this level of class and quality. Don’t miss out on it.

Parking was very easy as well. There were staff members taking care of the car, and whenever we needed it, we could simply call and they would bring it to us. The same level of assistance applied to our luggage, so we didn’t have to do any heavy lifting at all.

The reception staff were very professional and kind—truly wonderful people.

Note that our room had a \"see-through\" shower such that the shower was in a glass stall in the main room so anyone in the room could see the into the shower. Not a problem for us, but could be an issue if guests weren't close. Note that all rooms are not like this.

When I say this hotel went above and beyond, I mean it. I screwed up my booking and arrived a day early. They not only phoned around to find a close hotel with an opening for the night (as they were full that night), they got all of my luggage to the other hotel, gave me a complimentary drink, got my luggage back on my actual reservation day, and gave me the best recommendations for food and coffee. And that was just the amazing staff! The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and spacious. I can’t say enough good things!

Impeccable service

Huge room with convenient location. I was impressed by service of front desk staff who are always smiley when greeting guests. Shout up to the staff who work on Christmas Day and even prep some tea/ coffee for us while we are waiting at the lobby for our train ! Highly recommended !

If you want a good price don't book direct.
Breakfast was fabulously presented at 7am but nothing was left by 9am - the hot food wasn't always that hot.
The lobby bar isn't a bar
The rooms were big but my queen bed was 2 singles pushed together with 2 single duvets
Lights were out where they should have been working in the room. The towel heater didn't work because it was still summer!
It was in a good location
I think there are better options in what is a really compact city.
There were 2 staff members that were really lovely and treated us incredibly well

This is a really nice modern hotel located just a block or so from the main squares in town. The rooms have everything you need and we had zero complaints. Breakfast was excellent, and there are plenty of restaurants you can walk to from the hotel.

I loved the location. The people were nice and the property was very clean. The room was very small and the bathroom had a super slippery shower with nothing to keep one from slipping. I did see a long red string with a button on it to call in case of a fall. It would be much better to prevent falls in the shower by having mats than to come to help people AFTER they fall. When I asked for a rubber mat they were very nice and brought one to me quickly. The bed was very hard/uncomfortable.

We like everything about the hotel except for two things:

1. There was a miscommunication regarding breakfast. We were told that breakfast was included so we had breakfast at the hotel everyday. At checkout, we found that our room didn't include breakfast. We paid for all breakfasts that we had at the hotel. No issues but had we known this, we would have taken the opportunity to try out the cafes around the area on some mornings.

Breakfast however at the hotel was very nice. Good value. Service at breakfast was exceptional. Luca brightens up the place when he's there. There was one day that he had a day off and the place noticeably was missing his smiles and bright personality. I still would recommended this hotel to friends and family. And even if not staying at this hotel, try out their breakfast.

2. The walls of our room had marks on them. A lick of paint on the affected areas would have made a huge difference.

Reception demanded a smart phone to download a QR code which would act as room key. I am not adept with QR codes and did not wish to pay the daily roaming charges that this would entail, eventually got my way.
The bedroom was well equipped- the large shower with 3 glass walls, jutting into the room was exotic.
Breakfast was structured to be fancy, but the food was only average.

I don’t really ever submit reviews but tend to rely on them heavily so I’ll give it a shot. We were looking for a place in an unfamiliar city and tend to prefer boutique hotels over chains. Hotel Cubo met and honestly exceeded our expectations . The employees were extremely friendly and accommodating - they helped us arrange transportation to various outings and secure late night food delivery. We found the room to be modern and it had a comfy king bed (the carpet was a bit worn to me but my husband said it wasn’t a big deal). The room
was just fine and very clean. This place is walking distance to everything in terms of sights. One thing we absolutely loved - the breakfast, the breakfast was everything! We missed it when we left, Thanks Hotel Cubo

Hotel is modern. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Single rooms are small, typical of European hotels. Double rooms and junior suites are good size. Breakfast is amazing, creative and tasty. Location is excellent, close to shopping and restaurants. Ljubljana Castle and all other museums and must-see spots are walkable. Parking is valet. Transportation is convenient. Will stay again.

A lovely hotel for a visit to Ljubljana. Rooms are modern, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. A 5-minute walk to the river and old town Ljubljana, restaurants and museums. The breakfast is wonderful, many options and very good coffee and food. The bed is comfortable, the shower a delight, air conditioning excellent. Highly recommended.

We stayed 4 nights in Junior Suite in Hotel Cubo. Everything was wonderful in the hotel from the staff, room, decoration -- everything was just perfect. The breakfast was so amazing -- my husband could not believe how beautifully each dish was presented. We will definitely stay here again. This is a truly 10 Star hotel.

The staff at the front desk did everything possible to make the stay excellent. When a circuit breaker flipped, a person was up there in minutes to fix the problem

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Cubo in April. All the staff were beyond helpful and friendly, and the room was fabulous- immaculately clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable.

It was the little touches like complimentary mini bar, complimentary smart phone with walking tour app, and high quality robes that made it unique. The included breakfast was also exceptional. The location is great as well, walkable to great sites, shops and restaurants/ bars.

Everything about Hotel Cubo is old-school quality hospitality and I couldn't recommend it more highly

We stayed in the junior suite at Cubo and had an incredible stay. From the second we arrived the staff were absolutely lovely and incredibly attentive. The suite was lovely, free mini bar and very comfortable bed.

Hotel Cubo was just perfect for our stay in Ljubljana. It has a central location, the rooms are huge by European standards, and they offer free bike rentals.
