Beautiful heritage property right in the heart of Old Town Ljubljana. It is only steps from the riverbank and all the restaurants.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. The room and the property were immaculate. l'occitane bath products.

We stayed at Hotel Heritage in Ljubljana on our first night in Slovenia, and it was such a welcoming place to start our trip. The room was a little small, but it was super clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the location could not be better — right in the center of everything. Just a heads-up for travelers: you can’t drive up to the hotel, so you’ll need to walk about 5–8 minutes with your luggage. We were only there for a short stay, but we really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it for the location and the hospitality.

The staff at the Heritage were so amazingly friendly and made everything effortless, from the herbal tea when we arrived (super early), to storing our luggage and taking it to our room, the whole team were fabulous. The hotel was super clean and smelled amazing, and our room was so nice. The location is excellent, so close to the river and all the restaurants around. I would absolutely recommend the Heritage, and will definitely stay again when in Ljubljana.

Brilliant - lovely location, beautiful room.

Very tasteful and high quality with exceptional attention to detail. We loved it.

We had an upgraded room on the 2nd floor - the only slight downside was that our view was almost totally obscured by the building in front. Couldn’t be helped but a bit of a shame. If I leaned right out we had a nice glimpse of the river!


Loved the location. So quiet at night but in the midst of things during the day.


Breakfast was awesome - could there be some oat milk supplied please?

Lovely hotel. Immaculately clean. Room ready for check in when we arrived at 11 am. Ideal location. Courteous staff . Room cleaned daily and towels changed as requested. Breakfast served 7-10 . Lots of choice for everyone. The nicest small hotel I have stayed in. Well worth the money. I will definitely stay again .

I would say the advertisement of the “24hr shuttle service” is false advertising though because they just call you an overpriced flat rate taxi. I was able to secure my own taxi for much less. If I had of known ahead of time that it was just a taxi I would have arranged a shuttle for even cheaper. Typically if you advertise for a 24-hr shuttle service it is an actual shuttle service not a taxi that is more expensive than if you booked on your own.

We stayed here for a couple nights on our trip through Slovenia, Italy and Croatia. A little further from the water than I’d expected and on a really busy street but we were still able to get out. Our superior room had an excellent bed. We walked from the bus station that was less than 3/4 of a mile to the hotel.

Superbly modernised boutique hotel in a historic building in the old town of Ljubljana. Location is perfect for all bars, restaurants and places of interest. Staff are very warm and friendly, speak great English and are efficient and helpful. All areas are spotless. Breakfast buffet has a wide range of fresh and good quality food - pastries, cakes, breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, cold meat and cheeses, scrambled eggs, bacon, salad, teas, coffees and juices. Beds are comfortable and so is the temperature inside the building (many places in Slovenia were uncomfortably hot). Room contains a free safe. Shower is large and powerful. Mini bar fridge is the usual. The only minor issue is that there is limited hanging space for clothes. Highly recommended.

Although, the hotel does not have parking b/c of their location, there is public parking w/in a couple minutes walk. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to assist us! This is a beautiful hotel in the pedestrian zone of the old town. It is a short walk (roughly about a block), to get to the main street for taxis or Ubers.
From the hotel it is very walkable to all the main attractions (Dragon Bridge, Three Bridges, Market, etc.). Many dining options near the hotel. They offer a great selection at the breakfast including homemade items like fresh baked bread and fruit crumble.
Would definitely stay here again while in Ljubljana.

A Lovely Boutique Hotel

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location to enjoy old town Ljubljana. My room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely view. The reception staff was professional and very helpful. My only criticism is the lack of temperature control in the rooms. My room was just slightly warmer than I would have liked, but there was an oscillating fan to make things a bit cooler. The breakfast was also quite good. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent property. Staff great. Ultraconvenient to everything we wanted access to (Tivoli, Zoo, bus station/train station, major points of interest/shopping, and restaurants; we walked everywhere. Zoo would be an easy short bus. We had a car the first night and parked it in a safe underground parking garage at a nearby LIDL without issue and only a 5-10 minute walk away. There is no parking right next to the hotel.

Amazing stay in Ljubljana

An amazing and beautiful hotel. The service was incredible, the room was spacious and bright. It was a privilege to have a view of the castle from our bedroom! Breakfast was delightful and the staff throughout our stay were very friendly and helpful. The location could nothave been better!

Not impressed! I arrived at 11 am (check in is at 2pm) and had to pay 100E to get my room early. Happy to pay something but 100E seemed alot considering room rate for 24 hrs is around that price. Asked for late check out (2 hrs) totally inflexible. I had to wait in lobby for my ride as I was not prepared to pay another 100E for 2 hours in the room. Location cannot be accessed by car, so be prepared to walk with your luggage. Hotel rooms is small (older appearance). There are much better hotels in Ljubljana. Staff cold, business like and average. Will not be coming back here.
