Large, comfortable room. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Public transportation was readily available, capable of connecting you to downtown quickly.
Fantastic, extensive fitness facility on site. Plenty of grassy areas outside to walk your dog.

We had the presidential suite. Was outdated but very comfortable. Could have been cleaner. the hot tub jets were dirty. But the sauna in suite was super nice. Some of the lights didn't work. But it was a huge suite and we really appreciated the upgrade and all of the room! Breakfast buffet was huge.

I liked opening the balcony door and spending the sunset down the weather was beautiful.
Also they had shoe polish,needle and fred and vanity kit and the best body wash (like what you buy at the body shop uk) quality.

also going off the subject i tryed the best stake ever at the Vinker cafe just down the road not far located (cognak steak) the best ever and the hotel serves the best orange juice for breakfast i loved it.

Just one remark - cold water in spa center pool. In past this was nice hot jakuzi, but now it’s cold. I’ll not use it next time.

Great rooms. Parking is extra and expensive.

Hotel room was very roomy and well appointed. Large bathroom. Very good front desk. Only complaint is that parking is 30 Euros per day. There is street parking nearby in the residential streets nearby that is free over night but is metered from 7am in the morning, but very reasonable at 0.50 euro per hour.

There is no attention to detail. Amenities are of poor quality and when used are not replaced next day. Telephone numbers are not known. If one goes to the gym, the room key doesn't work. When one goes to the reception, one is told that it will cost €8 per visit. If one wants to phone the spa, first one has to go to the reception to find out the number. No information about the services is available in the room.

NO Thermal pool! false advertising, listing, hotel

I chose this hotel because the advertising, and the hotels.com listing, said use of the pool was included. On arrival, it was closed because of CoVid. So this was incorrect advertising, I would have ordered a diferent hotel closer to the centre, if the information was updated. But there was nothing wrong with the hotel, good service, healthy breakfast.

Disaster! You should skip it!

They ask for the deposit to be \"safe\" that we are not going to drink everything from the mini-bar. We gave a bill of 100 EUR, but our change of 50 EUR was never returned (deposit receipt was on 50 EUR). Besides this, they were very unfriendly and unprofessional, while trying to accuse us we are trying to cheat them (married couple in late 50s). Terrible experience, choose another hotel for your stay in Ljubljana.

The rooms we had were standard but clean and comfortable. Receptionists can use some help. We waited in a long line for about 30 minutes to check in. And about 20 minutes to check out. And we were told to come back in line when we take our car out of the parking lot to get the card validated - who wants to wait 20-30 min more? We just ended up paying for parking ourselves to avoid waiting in line again. Location is a little removed from the Old City but close to the highway. They must get bus loads of tour groups. Reataurant was so loud but once they cleared out, it was pleasant. Breakfast was good though.

We were told there would be a free shuttle bus to the city (and return) at the time of making our booking. When we tried to redeem this service we were then told there was not enough seats to accommodate us (a group of 3). Then we were told that only a total of 7 guests would be transferred to the city and back. This 'free' service was also a taxi, not a bus. Reception staff member Mojca Volf was very rude and intolerant when we approached her on the situation, and simply repeated \"first in best dressed\" (repeatedly). She refused to offer us a completely transfer as promised in our booking. So we ended up paying for a taxi as everything was so complicated. Ironicaly the Taxi driver we payed was the same one providing this 'free' transfer service for the hotel. We also had isssues redeaming the 'free' service on the return from Ljubjana back to the hotel. We had a little girl sitting on her mothers lap illegally in the taxi because the hotel bouble booked the transfer service. NOT WELL ORGANISED, VERY DISSAPOINTING! We felt this marketing was false and misleading.
Breakfast was fantastic, free gym was fantastic and hotel room was well designed and impressive.

This is a large commercial hotel. Twin beds were very narrow and low to the ground. Bathroom had a large tub/shower and we were not able to step into the tub/shower as it had extremely high sides. This tub/shower is not elderly/handicap friendly so we had to do a sponge bath.. Room has a couch, work desk and chair and bed area could be closed off for privacy. Ordered room service and it was excellent. Breakfast next morning was amazing. Big variety of foods to chose from.

Room is big with a nice layout , It has living room , an office like area , separate toilet and bath , comfy mattress and 4 pillows made my 4 night stay comfortable . It feels like I am in my own home.
The free shuttle service to and from hotel to city centre made my stay very convenient since I don't drive.
Buffet breakfast is excellent lots of choices .
The food price in winner bar is reasonable , I love their burger

Breakfast buffet was great; and they really do it up right. Easy to get to location. 95% of the staff I encountered were friendly. The in hotel restaurant has a friendly staff - their food was good quality, fresh and clean. The room was decent only, but we’ll worth the price. Overnight parking was 10 euros nightly which came out to 13 euros including taxes. I would stay here again.

Awful, a significant number of staff speak to you like you are there to serve them. The room was terrible, the heating control didn't work, the telephone was unable to call reception.
When I tried to register this complaint at the end of the trip I was glared and didn't even receive an apology.

Nice hotel in the heart of Ljubljana

I really enjoyed staying at Austria Trend Hotel in Ljubljana. It is a hotel where a lot of people on business trips stay, it was very quiet, relaxing and felt like home. I also used the wellness spa which was fantastic and they gave me a discount because I was staying at the hotel. Room service was precise and quick to deliver and answer any needs I had. Check in and out was easy and quick but I did have to pay extra for tourist tax which was €1.20 per day.

A pleasant hotel but the location is not that great unless your are on business. There is little around at night but the centre is a short taxi ride. The hotel staff are okay but the bar staff can be a little pushy with trying to self their “specials”. The gym and spa part are separate business and incur additional costs when you use them

warning - not a good hotel if you want to sleep!

This facility is very nice, but we had a major problem. We stayed in early November and they had converted to heat for Winter. When we entered our room, it felt like being in a sauna. I turned off the fan, which they had set to blow on high, and we left the room. When I complained at the front desk, they told me to open a window, which I did, but only one window opened, and only a few inches. Even after being gone for a couple of hours. when we returned it was still a sauna. We had an unbearable, unsleepable evening. Terrible. When I complained very early the next morning, the desk person checked with the manager, who said \"nothing was broken\" so they could not adjust my bill. I was appalled that they do not treat their customers better and I therefore cannot recommend this hotel. The breakfast was good, and the room was nice, except we could not sleep in it - which was priority one for us! Also, be aware that it is located in a business area, so only a few dining and shops are within walking distance.

For a 4 star hotel. I had lots of problems with the AC. It was like 25C and staff came to fix it and never got it right. This is after a few calls. I go to a 4 star hotel to be comfortable. Otherwise I would have give it 100% in almost everything.

The hotel is big and it has very good amenities. It is located about 3.5 miles from the city center. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the city center about 6 times a day (the last one is at 10 pm). We found car rental, exchange office, very few restaurants and bus stops within a couple of blocks. We did not use the bus but it seemed easy and safe to do it. They upgraded us to an executive suite and it was very nice, clean, well furnished, with a lot of room, a nice view and we were impressed. Everything looked new. The breakfast had a vast selection of food but there was a lot of tourist groups staying there and it was very noisy. We tried to go for breakfast very early or late, to avoid the crowd that would check-out on that day.

Hotel is a bit away from city, but we used shuttle on available hours. it has fixed schedule
-departure from Hotel to the city center: 09:00, 11:00, 17:15, 19:00, 22:00.
-departure from city center to Hotel: 09:15, 11:15, 17:30, 19:15, 22:15.

In the night used taxi for transportation and paid 5 euro to taxi. Hotel conditions and personal are perfect, they helped me about early check-in. Also, breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Only, problem in room is bath supplies, The bathroom had large size sampuan and shower gel. The guests who used it before us filled the bottle with water. I think disposable bath products can increase in quality

Offered airport transport was not available on the airport so had to take a taxi. From thr hotel back to the airport it was more expensive and less comfortable than with a normal taxi.

People were walking into my room without knocking als saw it happening with other hotel guests.

Breakfast was good but too many people for the tables so waiting for everything if it was not finished.

Room itself was comfortable, clean and large. TV had bad signal but this was no problem.

The staff was excellent. Frustrated that a party of 3 can only have one key, and a key must be in place if you are in the room. So if members of the party want to leave and not disturb someone when they return, they must ask the front desk to let them in. That is impractical.

the hotel was good but the thing that made upset is the extra fees that they asked and the deposit that they asked me inciting on the fact that without the deposit I will not get to my room event if the room was already payed.
