Nothing particularly flashy, surprised that this hotel has a 4/5 star rating. The location is very inconvenient unless driving, and the room generally felt in need of a refurb (very drabby toilet and dim room with musty curtains). Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Pool was small but the sauna was nice and large. I found that all the locks in the changing room didn't work though so a bit of a security issue.

We stayed at 3 hotels in Ljubljana this trip around the same price and the Four Points Sheraton was BY FAR the best one. The most comfortable bed, friendly staff, spacious room, very clean. One of my favorite 4 star hotels we’ve stayed at in Europe. There is a pool and a nice sauna in the gym available until 10pm, you need to set the heat for sauna hotter when you get down there. There is a small cafe/bar area downstairs very convenient for coffee in the mornings (she made oat milk lattes for me too very appreciated). We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to an even larger room and we were spoiled by it, we can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. Free parking for guests. Again, the most comfortable bed. It doesn't seem like it from the outside but the rooms have a luxurious feel. We will stay here again every time we return to Ljubljana.

O hotel é fantástico, lindo, moderno e elegante.
Localizada a beira do anel viario de LJU, de facil acesso para todo o pais.
Os quartos sao enormes, cama super confortável, banheiro enorme, com uma banheira que pode ser um inconveniente caso voce nao tenha muita mobilidade.
O banheiro possui uma locao corporal hidratante fantastica.
Gostei da pscina e sauna e usei as muito.
Academia e completa, mas alguns aparelhos possuem uma ergonomia bem ruim.
Mas da pra treinar o suficiente.
Em geral gostei muito e recomendo fortemente.
O staff e simpatico e inclusive as camareiras sao muito educadas.

Zero sleep

Main reason for the stay was to rest during a long travel with car. A good sleep was a priority we unfortunately got nothing off.

Our neighbours, not sure if it was next to us or below us was the loudest neighbour experiance ever. A combination of running (how is that even possible in a small room?), heavy steps, dragging furniture, smashing things (no idea what), loud volume on the tv and everything else possible made it totally impossible to sleep. This was the case 2 out of 2 nights.

With that said, not the hotels fault that people are idiots and don´t know how to behave, but the thin walls didn´t help us. The second night i went down to the reception to raise awarness about the \"war zone\" next door. The answer was they will check but that \"check\" unfortunately made no difference to us either since it continued untill 1-2 am.
I tried to locate the room myself also to knock on the door but you couldn´t hear anything from the outside. Perhaps the same reason why the staff couldn´t do anything about it either.

We left the hotel with zero sleep for a total of 1400 km drive the next day.....

This will be how i will remember the hotel in the future.

We stayed for 2 nights, arriving after 10pm on the fist night, by car as a family.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and well appointed.

Breakfasts were decent (though a little better separation of food as we were vegetarian would be appreciated).

We had the pool to ourselves when we used it (twice during our stay).

The city centre car parks were only a 15 minute drive away.

We stayed with 2 babies in a Business Suite with 1 bedroom. The room was very nice and clean. The heating was working ok, but it had an annoying noise in the bedroom - like something bumping from the pipes. The breakfast was okaish for the price paid, still would love to see more selection of fruits, jogurth and vegetables for 4 stars hotels.
I was very disappointed by the Hotel management as we had due leave after 2 days as one of the babies got sick. We paid in advance for 4 days stay, so I asked for a voucher or some compensation for our next stay. They refused at the reception charged for cribs, city tax. I sent them 2 emails - no response. Disappointed. 3 stars max.

Hotel complex is nice, with half of the rooms freshly renovated and other half not. Rooms are priced the same, so you can get unlucky and stay in the old part. I stayed in a very busy period so it was sold out. If at full capacity there is waiting line to get a table for breakfast. When it's not completely full, it's a great hotel for a good value with great amenities.

A business hotel on the outskirts of Ljubljana, with good quality facilities but a little bit showing wear and some age. It was easily reached from the airport - but only by Taxi (€40-55). It is possible to get to the city centre, recommended by bike. Walking is about 1.5 hours and part of it along busy roads.
The breakfast is very good, and the local restaurant (there isn't anything else nearby) is decent but a bit expensive for the quality of the food. The staff is fantastic and the pool and sauna are very good.

Everything was fine, but I don’t recommend the vegetarian option at the Robin Restaurant which was flavourless and not well cooked. Many more tasty options can be found in Ljubljana.
There is a shuttle bus to go into town provided by the hotel but only leaves three times a day and costs 4Euros each. We used the TaxiMetro app - taxis were around 8-10 Euros and were very convenient.

Nous avions reservé une suite familiale (numero 186) pour 2 nuits. Tres belle chambre et confortable pour une famile. Nous avons egalement mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel qui était très bon.
Cependant durant la première nuit une très mauvaise odeur d'égoût est sortie de la salle de bain. Impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres pour ventiler.
Le problème a ete annoncé à la reception le matin mais à notre retour le soir l'odeur était toujours présente et constatée par un membre de l'hôtel. On me propose une réduction comme l'hotel est plein.
Seconde nuit avec les mauvaises odeurs. Lors du check out on m'annonce une reduction de 10% puis 15% en insistant.... puis on m'explique que la chambre est HS pour les prochains jours.... donc au Sheraton on vous vend 2 nuits une chambre HS à 85% du prix... bel esprit commercant...

We used this overnight stay for transport home. Well located, close to the motorway, but unfortunately when you have room 202 just above it and noise from the street. The shower was either very hot or disgustingly cold. Good beds, nice breakfast and when you have an electric car, the Tesla charger is right there too. But we probably won't go there again

I had a great week of stay at the Hilton Budapest. Here’s what I liked about the hotel.

However there was as conference on during our stay and as result there was no restaurant for lunch or evening.

Poor quality rooms air conditioning didnt work, no bed side tables, why paper cups for hot drinks in your bedroom. Unattentive staff who would rather be on thier phones than attend to you. When you ask for champagne and get served sparkling wine as waiters think you dont know difference would never return, when you mention this to front desk oh would you like a coffee we must try harder next time, well there wont be

Cleaning needs more attention

The location of the hotel is perfect for those with a car. Parking is available.
The front desk service was excellent. The cleaning of the room was disappointing. There was hair on the hair drawer. The mirror were dirty. The shampoo and soap containers were empty. It felt like we are unexpected guests coming uninvited:(

The best breakfast I’ve had in a long time from a hotel. I have stayed at other Sheratons, and all I can say is all other Sheratons can take lessons from this Sheraton.

I liked the Hotel's condition overall, while i didn't;t like the front desk's representatives attitude. The so call Upgrade, didn't take place and the room ha don TV functioning and no shower gel or minibar.
The breakfast, better buy an apple form a gas station, it is more fresh and you could find a wider variety of products..

I had booked the hotel for a stay in Ljubljana with my daughter, as part of our inter rail journey through Europe.
It is lovely hotel, huge space, massive swimming pool and great breakfast.
The biggest shame was how i douns the staff a bit judgemental. Me and my daughter arrived pretty sweaty after a nearly hour long walk from the station. The check in I found was a bit weird, reception guy kept asking for my bank card and couldnt fathom how the confirmation was made via hotel. com.
Once checked into the hotel, he simple asked me to go to the room while there was a conceirge service and we could see a luggage holder and a service guy standing on the side.
The second day of stay the room was not prepped, tea erc not replaced so had to ask for it.
For such a good quality hotel, i believe the staff needs training in terms of being just polite and good to the clients. Sorry for having to pin point but its of utmost inportance guests feel welcome.
