The room had a horrible mold odor. We requested a different room which was better but still smell funky. There was no hand soap. The two arm chairs were dirty and disgusting. The pool did not look clean. Breakfast is not that great. We are not staying here again! I don’t understand how the hotel has received such great reviews. That’s misleading!

Every couple years that we go out to Weslaco we stay here. We love it . Easy access to parking for my dad. First floor always available. Their breakfast could be a little better other than that never had a problem here.

DO NOT DO NOT RESERVE HERE Worse experience ever arrived at 3 30 got kicked out by the owner by 4 00 pm with my kids because we got accused of putting gum on the sheets we were going to sleep in which make no sense when I complain about the sheets I get called to the office and with out hesitation he kicked us out’ and of course denied me my money back according to his version it was because on my booking it didn’t put I had an extra kid’ which was said when arrived and paid for the extra person’ staff was aware when I checked in an again paid deposit and the extra person fee’ horrible horrible don’t book here guys the owner is a mean horrible rude unprofessional person

Upon checking in they require an additional $50 on top of everything that was already charged. When arriving to the room it was noticed the tv was on already but no remote in sight to watch tv. Further looking around there was only 2 towels for a family of 5. Also the bed sheets had stains and the blankets or comforter had holes and stains over it all

Owner was just not interested it seems. Made us wait 2-3 hours for the room to be cleaned for us to check in. Did not let us check in early and asked for a $30 early check in fee. Told him I just made a 6 hour drive and I was traveling with my mother who is 67 and is exhausted, was turned away by the owner saying come back in 2-3 hours. Room had bugs and insects. Will not be staying here ever again!

Plenty of parking for trackers but not set up for big work trucks so that’s not something you have to worry about. I got in late and there was someone at the pool cleaning it so you know everything is being taken care of around the clock. Great place.

This hotel was very convenient when I needed to cross the border but the older, Indian owner/fd/gm attitude is a bit much. This was my second multi-day trip utilizing his property and it will be my last. I arrived at about 1:45 am (I called to confirm late check in would be ok and he said it would be fine. I wanted to make sure I didn't get GNS'ed). Day before checkout I asked if I could get a later check out than 11am. He said noon complimentary, I said ok but what if I'm willing to pay late checkout fee? He said it wouldn't be an option after 1pm as his housekeepers leave around 2pm but that I can call and see at noon about potential 1pm. Fair enough. Y'all...my ac was shut off at 11am. In Texas. It felt very passive aggressive. I'm sure it's a cost saving measure but it does mean the room is hot when the guest arrives plus I came down the night before to discuss it and we agreed on 12 couldn't they have extended use of the AC until then? Housekeeper knocked on the door like she is about to bust it down at 11:50am. I went to fd and say \"Alright, I'm out of the room!\" and he snickered and said \"how are you?\" as if I was the rude one! Small town with no real options but I will choose to drive further to get better service next time. There's a reason this place has no branded flag associated. The first time I stayed I asked for nothing and bought the most expensive room and he was fine then. I think he was salty about the expedia commission this time.
