This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I literally checked in to the Motel and decided to leave to continue about my day and upon my return was not able to enter my room. I went back down to ask about my key the lady in the front said she needed to call a manager (after watching me and my family enter the hotel and did not care to stop us on the way up to the room and she acknowledged us as we walked in but never asked us to wait). The manager proceed to tell us someone complained about the noise, keep in mind we were gone for hours the lady in front once again saw us leave. The manager even said they tried calling the room and no one answered when the front desk lady knew very well we were gone. Cameras don’t lie. This was unprofessional and I will be looking further into this to make sure no one else gets treated this way. I would never recommend this place EVER. A truely unprofessional way to treat people. Dhayh Bhakta was the manager who locked us out of the room with our belongings inside.

Upon entering the room both me and my grandchild experienced hives, the attendant was very courteous and provided us with another room, the other room had no hot water. Because I had limited funds and it was not eligible for cancellation. The second night there were roaches on the wall. 2 sleepless nights.

We stay here yearly. Because of the convenience to restaurants and the border. I also booked because they advertise PETS STAY FREE. However upon checking in, they requested $150 pet deposit stating that it was new. and it had to be in CASH ONLY. NO RECEIPT as it was not on their computer system to add it for a receipt.I got it back in the end. My point is what about families that are on a budget get there and don't have an extra $150. Dont charge it until its on your website advertised so people know and when your computers have been updated to give a receipt for the deposit. I asked to speak to a manager but she told the front desk to just tell me that it is what it is, that I had to pay the Pet Depsit. Its also time to redo flooring as the flooring in our room had several laminate plants separating from each other showing big gaps.

The staff was excellent; the a/c and refrigerator were to the noisy side. The doors attract noise because the guest across the hall had his phone conversations on speaker which kept me up until midnight. That’s not the hotel’s fault but people who lack respect and common sense.

Even though I requested a handicap room for my elderly father who walks with a cane they instead gave him a second floor room with a broken elevator. The rooms left a lot to be desired. Beds were horrible, didn’t even have cups in the room for water.

Rating is a 3 based on the walls \"not soundproof\". Stayed with a relative that did nothing but complain about the hotel, the 'towels were too flimzy', 'humid' and then here come the noise level. We were there the 18-20th and on last night, very noisy and hard to sleep. A couple got into a fight, wife wanted to go to bar, arguing with spouse, threw the TV remote control against the wall. Was very hard to sleep, had to call the front desk. Next morning, we learned 5 -6 cops on the premises. STRONGLY suggest to management to get those walls sound proof!. Other than that, the right price for a very cleaned hotel. Not sure I'll be staying there though I like the location.

It may be time to check the mattresses for needed replacement. Our bed which was closest to the window, (two bed room) I could feel the springs in the mattress and it was not comfortable. I was going to complain but my husband asked me not to as he did not think they would do anything about it And for the price he said what do you expect.. After (3) nights I woke up with a sore back and hip and I know it was due to the mattress. However I will say staff was very friendly, and attentive when we asked for fresh towels daily. We have stayed there several times and this was the only complaint we have ever had.

The staff is attentive and kindly. Although there is no breakfast, the reasonable pricing more than makes up for that. The location has a nice restaurant adjacent to it. The location is well situated for a short drive to the International Bridge and it's near shopping in the town if needed. Motel 6, Weslaco is also very accessible for guests in wheel chairs as is my wife. The area has a safe feel to it.
