Room wasn’t clean when I walked in. Bed was unmade, there were dirty towels on the sink and a dirty towel on the floor by the toilet. The previous persons room card was on the desk. I left my card on the desk next to it and didn’t stay there after all.

Room had a very humid smell and hit us right when we opened our door. There was A LOT of mold ald mildew in the shower so we didn't use it. There were stains and rips on the bed covers. Had to run to Walmart to buy fitted sheets pillows and blankets to cover ourselves. And there also was an incident which we thought was kind of weird...there were this gentlemen changing the batteries of our locks with no previous notification from the front office or nothing...we stood guard until they were done. Also their ice machine was broken and there was no iron or ironing board in the room. Had to stay there because they have a printed sign posted in the front office that reads: no refunds after 5 min of checking in

The man receptionist was excellent. Friendly helpful and caring. A lovely welcome all together. The room was very nice too with good air conditioning. I also enjoyed the pool.
So a very good experience. There was also a lovely lady receptionist in the morning.

I had made reservations for 6days they never offered to take any trash, replace toilet paper, or towels. The bathroom was dirty from previous occupants and for a while the toilet wouldn't flush. The bath tub was also dirty and the key card would constantly stop working. Also due to a miss understanding on the last day they went when only my 13 yr old was alone and told her she 'we' had to be out by 12 or they were calling the cops. They did not try to contact me at any time when they had my phone number on file. It was a horrible experience

Great location, but my stay was not the best. The key to open the hotel room only worked when I got there. The rest of the times I tried to open with the key it didn’t work, so I had to go downstairs to the office and tell the person in charge for every single time I had to enter my room. Then when I was showering the water finished or went out, and when we told the lady in the front, she said she was washing the towels, and that’s why the water had finished. For the price I paid, I expected to at least have running water that doesn’t finish when you’re in the middle of your shower.

The room was extremely hot when we checked in and wasnt cooling so we had to get a fan (our own). And breakfast was just cold cereal, bread for toast, a few cinnamon rolls. Sunny delight or coffee to drink and a few apples and bananas. Was hoping for waffles like the photos showed and maybe yogurt. The staff was very nice but the place is pretty run down. The pool area has very little seating and the tile on the pool was gross..

We enjoyed restful sleep because our room was behind the pool and the hotel was not crowded. There was a glitch with Expedia’s payment so out check-in was delayed until I spoke with customer service. I would like an explanation and/or a comp. from Expedia (good luck) for the mix up.

Did not stay as owner stated i had to many children for 1 room. As we were trying to go into pool upon arriving gate was locked and owner came out. Come on it was mothers day. He totally ruined it. I had always stayed here before no issues.The staff are wonderful. But the owner horrible. This specific day no cars in parking lot but mine and noone using pool what was the issue. You are in the RGV everyone has a bunch of kids

Don't waste your money. Has roaches, ripped curtains and sheets. Furniture is fake looking \"wood\" that is really metal. Limited towels and limited toilet paper. Toilet only worked if we took top lid off and messed with it so water would fill back up. Did i mention bed bugs? Please dont put yourself and your family thru this. Next time i am willing to pay a bit more for comfort.

Staff were very willing to help out any way possible. Surprisingly the motel did not furnish kleenex in the rooms but when I inquired they got me some. The room was clean but the shower/tub had the soap dishes torn off the corners as well as
rust around the water controls in the tub. Also, the tub drain was missing but this was not a problem if one showers. Overall the room was more than adequate and clean.

Nothing fancy but overall okay for the price. Everything worked as expected. Shower enclosure a little stained and tub had some porcelain chipped off. Air conditioner was loud but that same unit is used in may other locations. When running it drowned out any traffic noise. :-)

The hotel manager was rude. She yelled at my Children for going down the stairs too loud, and rudely came to ask how many people were in my room. She should of checked our reservation first. Also she said that we were being too loud that others stay year round in the rooms. She should have offered us a room on the 1st floor or away from working customers. Children are on Spring Break Vacation and should not have to tip toe around for that price.

I loved the location.. everything was right around the corner, from the family dollar across the street the the walmart down the street and all the fast food chains very closely located.Overall I would stay here again ..

Overall the stay was good. But the party that was allowed there was not appropriate. About 30 people & kids running all over and knocking on doors, were BBQing on a little strip of grass. And this started around 10pm, right when the noise ordinance begins. The hotel manager/employees could not control it and they never called the cops, so we did. Also the hotel manager was very hard to understand when speaking. We will never stay there again!

The stay at this hotel was very satisfying! The management was attentive and personable. The housekeeper was very friendly, I felt like a friend was taking care of us. What I want to emphasize is the fact that the management had been feeding a precious stray dog who had sort of taken up residence at the hotel. They did not know where the dog belonged, but did not choose to ignore it. They fed it and my husband and I actually found a place for the dog before we left (after a 5 day stay). I appreciate the humanity of the staff, towards us and that helpless doggie. Good stay

Staff was helpful. The rooms were up to date. Flat screen tv in our two rooms. Breakfast over by 9am, we usually don't do breakfast at the hotel anyway. A large Walmart is just down the street as well as some other shopping and places to eat.

Good hotel for the price.

The hotel has been renovated or under new management. It had a 32\" flat screen/ cable TV, large room size fridge, microwave, ceiling fan, hair dryer with motion detector night light. Less than 1/2 mile to highway, close to Walmart and eating places, yet residential area next street over. Pool, ice machine and laundry facilities on-site. Free continental breakfast. It exceeded my expectations at the price I was charged on hotel.com. A definite recommendation.

It was very unpleasant, 2nd floor near swimming pool, (208) very noisy, near pool water pump, excessive noise at early hours before dawn.
The breakfast was only coffee and toast, the pastries were tiny cinnamon rolls, a few bananas and apples. Not hot breakfast. The Mini fridge on room was Off broken, not clean and with horrible smell.
