There was no hair dryer in my room #255.
Also two guests walked bare footed in the reception area in two different days, I think it is disgusting and although I know it is difficult to stop it, you should enforce such faux pas. Otherwise I would recommend and definitely stay ta this nice hotel, with polite and competent staff.

We really enjoyed staying here we had a full size refrigerator and the Kitchenette was great to warm up Christmas leftovers. The pool and jacuzzi was open in December which was great. Breakfast was also good they have red and green salsa which gave food more flavor. Would stay here again.

We checked in and the young man receptionist was very accommodating. We went to our room and everything was worn down and did not appear to be clean at all. It had a terrible musty/moldy smell. The ac units had visible mold. He apologized and gave us another room and the same thing. We were ready to check out and count it as a loss but then he put us on the 3rd floor which was a little better but still not ideal. I went to the store and picked up sanitary wipes and a Lysol air spray to clean the entire place. They claim the smell comes from the pool but the ac units had visible mold on them and the vents and coils were so bad. I took pictures of the ac unit.
It is a health issue for anyone.
When you walk in the entry door by the pool you have to hold your breath due to the smell. Sadly to say, we will not be staying again, and I now second guess the reviews along with Comfort Inns in general.

Great for what I needed

The hotel was located perfectly for my visit. I had a super late check in and was greeted kindly, checked in quickly and was super impressed with the person who checked me in. The bed was more firm than I like, but I still slept like a log. I needed to check out early and left a cash deposit, but they sent someone to check my room quickly to be able to return my cash deposit. Bonus, Dutch Bros coffee is across the street.

We stayed at Mainstay and noticed that Comfort Suites was next to it, as soon as they told us to go passed a door, you can notice the big stench in the hallway. It smelled a lot like dog, urine and the stench was just bad. The rooms were muggy and even though spacious just felt dirty in there. I was very disappointed because I could not cancel my stay because I was still going to be charged.

The property is dated. The door in the restroom was pealing, and there was mold in the grout of the shower. They required a $100 deposit when we arrived at the property which is unheard of. I would not stay here again.

I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and was visiting due to a family members healthy. The Valley is known for a proud tradition of friendliness and pride in the work done. This hotel does not live up to that. The drawers in the room were filthy, as was the entire air conditioner making it hard to cool the room evenly. There were cobwebs in corners and the tub had huge growths of mildew. If I had to assume it would be the hotel is short staffed; cleaning crew to the front desk. I wouldn’t waste the money when there are much nicer hotels I found in the same area.

The stay was just ok our room had mildew smell. and carpets were dirty. bathroom room when we put the mat down and it got wet the floor was unbelievably dirty. The pool and hot tub had way to much bleach in them I got in with black shorts and grey shirt and came out with them totally bleach. the black is now grey and the grey is all kind of colors. my sterling sliver wedding rings came out black. and I have to pay to have them cleaned. so I was very unhappy with our stay.

Had a mini kitchen if we wanted to cook. Quiet throughout the stay. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was very little musty smell. Negatives were breakfast was just okay (scrambled eggs and beans) and the juice machine was broken, and the elevator on that side of the hotel was out of service.

Stayed 2 times. Rooms are okay. Beds not too comfortable but not that uncomfortable either. The stay was great each time. The hotel is outdated and could use some updating. I love the kitchenette. In distance to great dining and shopping not far.

Pésima experiencia, a pesar de no estar en las políticas me hicieron dos retenciones en mi tarjeta desde antes de llegar al hotel y una al llegar, esto solo quedó como retención y a la hora de salir ya que me había ido , hacen el cargo por el total de la estadía. Esto ha sido un dolor de cabeza para que me lo resuelvan , y en la reserva yo elegí pagar al llegar , la tarjeta solo era una garantía para en caso de no llegar hacer el cargo de una noche.pero ni siquiera era la hora del check in y ya habían hecho el primer cargo, cosa que por ningún lado encontré se pudiera hacer según las políticas .
Primera vez en el historial de reservas de diferentes hoteles por este medio.
Si no quieren batallar con cargos no se hospeden de nada sirve elegír pagar al llegar como quiera batallarás con la devolución del dinero culpando ellos al banco.
