This was our first time staying here, and overall the experience was a bit uncomfortable. The room layout felt unusual because our room was downstairs but the stairs inside led up to the actual room, which felt a little strange to us.

There were also a few maintenance issues. The doorknob on the restroom door was broken off, and the closets had no lighting, which made it difficult to see our belongings. For a two-day stay, only two towels were provided, which was not very convenient.

Another disappointment was the breakfast. It did not match what was described on the hotel’s website, so our expectations were a bit higher than what was offered.

One positive thing I will say is the location. The hotel is surrounded by many stores and good restaurants, which made it easy to find places to eat and shop nearby.

Overall, with better maintenance and more accurate descriptions of amenities, the stay could be much more enjoyable.

The place was nasty. It was freshly painted but as a master plumber I’ve seen this before. The air in the room was horrible I had to go to the store for an $8 can of air sanitizer spray. I couldn’t stay the second night it was so bad. Had to go else where. When I complained about the condition of the room after I got back from my business meeting it was after 1pm and the manager said he could do nothing. If hotels.com doesn’t give me a full refund, I will be disputing the credit card charges

The property is nice. Good location. I did NOT like there was no blow dryer in the room. The receptionist said the company is removing them plus No kleenex box and No iron. It is just a bare room. I feel the blow dryer is a must to have in the room. One less item for us to pack. Otherwise adjust the rates to be less for the stay.

The amenity's were so ridiculous. 1 small bar of soap and one little packet of shampoo/ conditioner. They had mo kleenex, no ice bucket. They gave us 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel and 4 bath towels. Doesn’t even make sense!

The location is excellent. Near different stores, restaurants and gas stations. Very well lit area. Check-in area and rooms were very clean. Young lady at check-in counter was very nice. We stayed 1-night, and hotel is pet friendly. In my opinion, the hotel is only good for a 1-night stay, possibly 2-nights. Would not recommend for an extended stay. Room we stayed in was two levels. The entry way and steps up to the room were very clean, but not too safe. Flooring is tile and nothing slip-resistant to help keep your footing. Restroom is not in the same room as the sleeping area, so no A/C to keep restroom cool (this location is located in McAllen, TX, deep S. Texas, so hot and muggy is ALWAYS the forecast). Nothing worse than coming out of a shower sweating. Also, cold water is not cold, since heat and humidity is the usual weather for this area, you only get one set temperature of water all the time, and that is HOT! Also, towels are the worse...very old towels, super thin, very small and looked dingy because they are so old, also after so many washes the towels become rough. When I asked for extra towels the cleaning lady told me there were already towels in the room. I informed her that, yes, we had two towels and she replied that's what's supposed to be available. I asked if I could at least have one more, and she did provide an extra towel. Would not recommend for an extended stay.

Well located and super clean

We were in McAllen for shopping, it’s not luxurious but worked perfectly for a one day stay; it’s near the mall and stores, fast food restaurants around the corner, it was quiet and we were able to rest after a day of shopping.

The room was super clean! The included breakfast it’s just coffee, waffles and toasts, but overall it was a good experience

I would definitely stay again and recommend it for a quick trip to McAllen

Their ratings are suspicious,
don't reflect reality. Property/rooms don't look like pictures. The floor and table top were filthy. Was hoping to stay for 5 days but stayed only one. The morning receptionist is extremely rude and dismissive. Zero customer service skills. Asked for manager, she said she was the top. Said her name was Miranda. Their posts in response to negative feedback reflect the dismissive attitude. They dont care!

OK Place for the price, but lacked attention to details. For water cups none were in the room, we had to go around to the breakfast area to pick them up. We stayed two nights, left dirty towels on the bathroom floor but no one came during the day to pick them up. Bed was not made. On the plus side, the area was quiet, beds comfortable, if you're not looking for the best service you'll be OK.

Pretty good motel !!

This motel is 2.5 stars and what they offer is like those motels 4 stars. Rooms, sheets, bathroom, floors impecable. There were some issues like: hair dryer doesnt work, what they serve is continental breakfast only. I wish I could have milk for those oats meal packages they put there. Their orange juice is not good (too dark like if it is from a can).

Lobby is too tiny, but their staff very friendly.

I would go back, no doubt.

There are many areas under construction and it's a real pain in the neck drive around. Regarding the hotel, the personnel in the front desk were always willing to go the extra mile in order to answer any of my requests. Especially Mr. Robert. I really liked the breakfast, it was perfect for my family. The toiletry could be better (only 1 bag for shampoo for a 4 people bedroom).
One of the beds had a stain in the sheets but the room smelled clean, and there was a working fridge.

I would definetly stay again there.
