We have booked for 2 rooms, 1 room there was no hot water at all. Hair dryer was there but jot working. Room key had never worked, even after they changed it. The other room had hot water but no hair dryer at all. This hotel does not deserve the value.

Booked this place on Hotels.com. It has a 8.2 rating and good reviews. I'm not sure how they were able to achieve that score, because that is not what I would rate it. I would say it's a high 6 at BEST. It's a cheap motel by all accounts and fairly clean. However, it is significantly outdated with worn out towels and linen. There was a used washcloth that was missed in the restroom. I personally wouldn't book again, but it's not the worst motel ever either. The location is excellent, within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, Starbucks, Walmart, and a gas station. So it really just depends on how much you're willing to spend for comfort and peace of mind. I'm currently trying not to think too much about how clean the bed linen actually is and get some shut eye. I'm only staying for a night and I was looking for a place at midnight so...it is what it is.

Toilet was plugged and wouldn’t flush, noisy neighbors arrived at midnight and were apparently making an illicit group video; manager did nothing even after 3 requests and threats to call police. The neighbors finally left of their own accord; their movie was finished taping.

I called ahead of time to request to check in early and on the first floor, the lady told me it would be ready by the time I got there. When I arrived, she never had the rooms called to be cleaned. So my room was separated from my other family and on the first floor. In addition, the table in the room to \"eat on\" only had one chair, when the room is meant for two. The motel had 2 towels in the room and one of them was dirty. I don't know about anyone else, but I usually put one towel on the floor to step on after I get out of the shower. So one was dirty and my husband used the other towel. There are NO irons or ironing boards. In addition, I felt uncomfortable that the workers or maybe owners of the place were just hanging around the stairs, watching visitors every move. My moms door didn't even lock appropriately. It was rigged up. I also didn't appreciate one of their employees smoking an illegal substance in the back corner of the stairs. I think this place needs to understand the definition of \"newly remodeled\", because that is not what it looked like. If it is, it was remodeled with old furniture that looks like it came from a thrift store or off the side of the road. I thought it was weird that none of the hand me down furniture in any of the rooms matched each other.

We had a problem at check in, but the manager took care of it quickly the next morning. The room was great! The tub had a slow drain and the ceiling fan/light didn't work, but we were ok with it. Plenty of other lights and the AC worked great. There is an outdoor pool, but it rained the day we were there, so we didn't check it out. If you get there in the evening, knock on the window so they know you are there. Otherwise it's a great place. Also, they have ethernet and wifi. Ethernet is faster. The room is larger than most hotels I have stayed in that were 3 or 4 star hotels.

We decided to go out to eat and hoped the air conditioner would work again which it did after 4 hrs of trying. when we decided to call the service thats when it decided to turn on again.

I booked 3 room because of hurricane Harvey and there was dog hair on the bedspread. We also noticed that our socks got very dirty from walking on the floors. I saw two roches I'm the bathroom. And to top it off we were not supposed to be charged tax for our room and I told the front desk,they said the knew. Instead I called hotel.com since I booked through them basically the manager hung up on the Rep.

I went there for a quick weekend getaway; I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room since I was expecting something smaller, the free Wi-Fi and breakfast were good bonuses, good neighborhood, good shopping and food around I felt like I was in the middle of everything, I didn't try the pool but it looked inviting.
