The rooms were decent, full fridge, we didn’t use the little stove. Love that they provided everything, coffee pot in the room. Had dishes for us to use. The cleaning lady was always on top of getting trash out, putting clean towels. Front desk staff very nice.

There was a STRONG human urine smell. Bugs and dirty small beds. I was charged 50.00 extra for early check in, but we did not stay in the room at all. We went in looked around and left. The woman at the desk on 03/09/26 9am was a scam artist. She claimed we had 5 total beds and there were 4 twin beds. She demanded we pay 50.00 for ealry checkin. No reciept for the 50.00 was given. Then she argued my reservation was 1 room. After she charged me 2 check in fees. We spent 20 mins in the hotel arguing about online reservation made through expedia. To end up with 0 place to stay at the last moment of our trip. Do not book at studio 6 mcallen. You will be scammed there will be bugs in your room.

The floor was sticky, the bed itself was super uncomfortable and not a queen like what’s advertised. The hotel in general is very good , but our room was very dirty , lots of grease in the floor around the kitchen area , the table was dirty with grease/oil spots , 2 dirty and wet bath towels were left inside a small cabinet in the rest room , i have pictures of this if manager is interested.

It was overall a great place to stay i only had 3 issues really. One the water from the sink didn't have that much pressure and only came out a little. Two was the shower didn't get a hot as i thought it would have. And last but not least was the toilet moved whenever you sat down like it wasn't bolted and it didn't have any seal. But other than that everything was great. Would i stay there again sure.
