The room was great, really clean, comfortable and affordable. The staff treated us like we were royalty. The only thing I would like to see is for them to put Keurig coffee makers in the rooms, although the coffee in the lobby is delicious. I love the Aloha Inn.

This is my first time staying at this hotel, we use to stay at the base since it was pet friendly, but they recently changed their policy to non-pet friendly. This place is close to the Melodrama which we attend every year for christmas, I highly recommend on going very entertaining. My wife and enjoyed our stay there, check in and out was seemless and they bed was comfy The only nick-pick was the bathroom was a little dirty.

Room was supposed to be smoke free.. but room has been smoked in and at check in the person warned me it might be smoked in room because people don’t follow the rules. Probably all the rooms have been smoked in.. then they should not advertise they have smoke free rooms. The bathroom was also not very clean with dirt and stain spots on the walls and side of bath tub.
Check in person gave me a new candle -/ to help with the smell and said this was their last and only room. If I had other options that late at night, I would have left but the room was prepaid and it was too late to find another hotel in the area.

The staff was totally fine. Check in went well, check out too. The room however was absolutely disgusting. It was filthy, like it had never been cleaned. There was a layer of dust over the lamps, headboards, and walls. There was hair in the bed and sink. We found insects on the walls and floor. Underneath the bed was also covered in a layer of dust and we found trash under there too. The sheets on the bed were not only dirty, but so thin and had holes as well. This place is not kept up at all!

I lifted it and a bunch of cockroaches went scurrying out from under the bag, then more scurried across the desk. Towels had a stain and the beds had dust and dander underneath the beds like they didn’t even sweep or dust correctly. I’m not going back and on top of it people kept up the family with their smoking and yelling outside. Not ever going back to Aloha Inn and definitely didn’t feel the aloha spirit. Why are you guys letting these people own these hotels???

Several problems. First, I asked for no housekeeping. 3 times they entered when I asked 3 times for them not to. They don't even have do not disturb signs.
Next, the hot water went out, was out all day. Very inconvenient. They apparently never defrost the little freezers, and it was so caked up with ice that I could barely put anything in it.

The person working the property was nice enough, but it was his 2nd day and he didn't know that service animals are not a pet. After some back and forth he finally called the owner who verified it is not a pet and then he didn't charge me for it. That's really the only issue I had besides I didn't get the first floor like requested. The room was spacious and eclectic, the shower awesome. Nice large balcony, I really enjoyed it.

It was a typical budget motel. Decent room, had a sliding door which was nice. Good shower with showerhead with multiple settings and good pressure. Room smelled too strongly of cleaning product, underneath the bed had obviously not been dusted in quite some time and was filthy but pretty clean other than that.

The pillows were not full size but the size of a sofa pillow, which was a little odd/unexpected. Blankets were very light. It is an older motel, could use some remodeling, and fresh paint. My bed was not very comfortable, saggy where body's wore down each side of bed and hot water in shower was just warm enough to get by with but not very hot. The fridge was very cold which is good and the location very convenient next to freeway, air condition worked well. And the price was very reasonable.The staff was helpful. All things considered, I would stay here again.

I have traveled all over the country for the last 45 years on business trips and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Plus they charged way too much for the room @ $179 night w/tax, outrageous... Inside and outside picture on Expedia looked good. Our room didn't come any where close to that picture. You need to take this property off of your list. We took pictures if you want to see them. Today on Expedia it's only $73. We got ripped off and pissed off!

And they claim to have EV chargers - which is why I booked it. I got there with no battery left on my Lucid. And to my surprise- they only have Tesla chargers! I asked for cancellation and refund they declined. The staff was professional and nice. But declined. Hotels.com were nice and helped me cancel. I wish the hotel was more upfront with their advertising. There are more than 15 other car EV companies out there that are not Tesla and they use different connector , and yet they choose to serve only Tesla charger - a bit weird ? And no mention of it in their advertising?

No communication to lobby from inside room
I am a frequent business traveler. Nice hotel but a little odd. No telephones in the room to communicate with office staff. After 9pm office was closed and I tried calling from my cell and no response after 30 rings. I had to go outside to an outside lobby call button outside the locked office to get assistance. Not safe for a female needing help..What if there was some sort of emergency? Lucky I am a male looking to refill my kleenex box and get extra soap

The hotel was descent I’d say the only up side was it was very close to everything and that the staff was very considerate. I stayed here 2 nights and 3 days for my anniversary and the first room they gave us had a broken tv and it smelled like they sprayed something to cover a nasty smell. The next room was fine until we got the first set of neighbors and the girlfriend was looking over there balcony into our room which was very strange since the guy had already saw us earlier that day walk into the hotel room next to him and then the next night we got new neighbors and it was a dad and his son and the dad was drinking beer and we could smell the cigarettes he was smoking and the next morning we could hear him throwing up but then again that’s not the staffs fault just my experience here. Also we did have cockroaches in the second room as well.

The hotel was nice. Really big rooms. But the floor was filthy. Our feet were black every time we walked in there. Zero water pressure it took 10 minutes just to wash soap off my kid. Staff was really nice. Very friendly all of them. If you have a bad back do not stay here. The beds are so bad i went out and bought an air mattress just to get some sleep.

The hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway, which made it easy to get to. It was a bit noisy from the traffic, but not unbearable. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel left a lot to be desired. The bathroom had cockroaches, which was very unsettling, and the property in general felt run down and in need of serious upkeep.
The one positive I can mention is the staff—both the front desk attendant when I checked in and the one when I checked out were very friendly and welcoming. I appreciated that.
That said, the state of the hotel itself, especially the cockroach problem, made my stay unpleasant. I would not choose to stay here again and hope the management takes steps to address these issues.

The location is right next to the freeway. I couldn’t turn off the AC and the bed sheets were stained and had human hair in them. I will not be staying there again

For the price we paid the room was outdated, the receptionist had his 3 kids in the laundry room and came out when I went to the front desk. All night you could hear people walking up and down and the area was giving motel vibes. If you’re looking for a peaceful beach trip how I was, there’s better options in the area in my opinion.

At first, I wasn’t feeling it then after one night (out of three) the feeling was improved extremely. When we first arrived there was no first floor available but we were offered a corner unit upstairs. I didn’t check off walkable or shopping because we did neither…our goal was visiting the dunes. We were very pleased with the walk in shower and bed. We definitely we be returning in the future 🤗

Had room key card given, only to see other people were still staying in that room. As an adult, it was not a problem, but we had 2 children with us. Sliding door did not lock, was beings held closed by a wooden stick in one of the 3 rooms we were staying in. Definitely needs an upgrade.

Overall looked good until we started finding one thing after another..When we arrived there was a drawer that would not stay closed on the nightstand, we woaukd close it and it would immediately slide back open.ok no biggie but upon looking at drawer as to why it wouldnt stay closed we noticed cherry pits and stems on the floor between said nightstand and bed, obviously not seen or picked up by staff. We left them untouched. When stepping out on the balcony there was a screw on the floor right as you open the door that my son stepped on when going out. Also noted an in n out cup on the ac unit in plain site. Upon using the restroom Toilet felt wonky like it wasnt bolted in right. Upon using thw shower as we slide the curtqin closed we noticed the Shower curtain was stained heavily on once side, looked like a rust color. Another item we noted was the Ironing board cover, also stained. Needless to say we wont be staying again even with the ease of location.

Great value! We made this a pit stop on our road trip and are very happy with it. Very nice room, it is clean and spacious. Bathroom is very clean as well. The community is quiet, pool is clean, check in was fast and the attendant was super helpful. Definitely will be looking at this place for future trips through here.

If you love nonstop noise, this place is for you. Right next to freeway and I think they were having a track meet above us. Not clean, not totally dirty but just ok for a night. AC not good, but just open the sliding door for fresh coolness. Might stay again if hard up. Beds are rocks— wife loved it.
