After a looooooong day on the road we arrived at the Aloha Inn to be greeted by a friendly and kind person who made check in blissfully uncomplicated. She communicated all the important info like WiFi passwords and what time coffee would be ready the next morning.
Our room was on the 2nd floor (word of warning- no elevator. Stairs only) which was SUPER clean and smelled fresh. The beds were bouncy soft and comfy. Clean towels and linens. Had a little fridge so we could keep our drinks cold.

Great value for a place to rest for the night. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only downside was that the front desk attendant seemed a bit rude when we requested an extra bath towel. The towels themselves could also use an update, as they were thin, worn, and somewhat dingy. Overall, though, it was a good stay for the price.

I can say this much, this was our 2nd time to go to the Pismo Car Show. The second time we stayed at this Hotel. Both times we’ve enjoyed our stay, we will continue to stay there every year for the Car Show. Easy access, right off the freeway. If your pulling a car hauler, you would be able to pull in and drop you're trailer, park your vehicle next to the trailer. Parking your truck and trailer on the street, you can leave them hooked up. Seems like a nice area. No homeless anywhere around the area. That’s a plus. Good luck travelers. I should say we were traveling on or motorcycle’s.

We had a smooth check-in experience. I’m not sure if complimentary coffee was available, as the staff didn’t explain the amenities during check-in. The room was clean, and housekeeping followed the scheduled service by taking out the trash and changing our towels the next day as promised. There was also enough parking space available for guests, which made our stay more convenient.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place. It’s also conveniently located near most of the tourist spots.

The chair in the room was full of stains and was disgusting. Shower items did not work. Too long of a walk to the room with bags. Staff n ot fully trained. Food was disgusting . Go to room #460 and please REMOVE the STAINED CHAIR it is a SAFETY/ HEALTH HAZARD.

The property is nice. The room was pretty clean (saw Cheetos behind night stand) The beds seemed clean though. It does have a microwave and mini fridge (Freezer part was iced over). The pool looked clean ( I didn't use). Coffee in morning at lobby was just that, coffee & creamer. No sugar, no decaf, no breakfast snacks. Definitely a no frills stay, but I was only there to sleep so it was fine. The neighborhood was quiet (residential area) and Costless, Walmart, Trader Joe's , Grocery Outlet, Starbucks & In & Out + others are just a 3 minute drive on opposite side of freeway. Easy freeway access and 5 minutes from Pismo. For the price (under $90/night) the stay was good, I would stay again.

First I called to ask if the pool was heated the man who answered was so rude he said no and hung up.. we get to our room later on the tv was not working or the remote. The man brought us a new remote which still didn’t make the tv work. He did not accommodate us in any way and was so rude I will not stay here again.

The room smelled awful we had gotten a non smoking room and it was fuming with a cigarette stench normally I can get past a little smell but it just smelled overwhelming we left the doors open and it never cleared out almost like the beds and walls had already marinated in bad odor for years
The bed sheets looked like they haven’t been washed or changed, we found a lot of long hair on the bed sheets
I tried asking for another room and they mentioned that the rooms where all booked we ended up sleeping with the back door open and bought an air mattress near by cause we could just not sleep on the bed
Parking was good and I do believe it was pet friendly but not pet safe

The room was semi clean. There was throw up on the balcony in two spots. They left dirty used bar of hand soap in the bathroom. One of the bath towels had stains on it. The tv remote was missing. They did not have enough towels in the bathroom. The soap products in the shower were basically empty. There was hardly any water pressure in the shower. I had to call the office for more soaps and towels and a tv remote, they wouldn’t even bring the items to the room I had to go get them.

Surface level, this spot does the job. It's a place to lay your head at night for an affordable price. It has some extra amenities like a microwave, iron, hair dryer and nice desk area. However the quality degrades as you look closer. The floors were so dirty that of you walked around barefoot you'd have black soles. There was dead bug smears on the walls and brown stains on the towels. Additionally we closed the screen door and locked the sliding glass backdoor only to find the screen door open in the morning, that really unsettled us.

This is my first time staying at this hotel, we use to stay at the base since it was pet friendly, but they recently changed their policy to non-pet friendly. This place is close to the Melodrama which we attend every year for christmas, I highly recommend on going very entertaining. My wife and enjoyed our stay there, check in and out was seemless and they bed was comfy The only nick-pick was the bathroom was a little dirty.

Room was supposed to be smoke free.. but room has been smoked in and at check in the person warned me it might be smoked in room because people don’t follow the rules. Probably all the rooms have been smoked in.. then they should not advertise they have smoke free rooms. The bathroom was also not very clean with dirt and stain spots on the walls and side of bath tub.

Check in person gave me a new candle -/ to help with the smell and said this was their last and only room. If I had other options that late at night, I would have left but the room was prepaid and it was too late to find another hotel in the area.

The staff was totally fine. Check in went well, check out too. The room however was absolutely disgusting. It was filthy, like it had never been cleaned. There was a layer of dust over the lamps, headboards, and walls. There was hair in the bed and sink. We found insects on the walls and floor. Underneath the bed was also covered in a layer of dust and we found trash under there too. The sheets on the bed were not only dirty, but so thin and had holes as well. This place is not kept up at all!

Cockroaches and a rude staffperson. I got in late (prearranged) and had a nice staff member help, went into the room and about a half hour in, realized that there was movement under my bag. I lifted it and a bunch of cockroaches went scurrying out from under the bag, then more scurried across the desk. I looked at the nightstand, then, and realized there were cockroaches on the spoon I had just set down. I took a photo.

Went to the front desk to change rooms (it was quite late and I didn't want to change hotels if possible). I told the front desk staffer that there were cockroaches, and he just looked at me and repeated, \"Roaches?\" He didn't say another word to me. He silently pushed a card for a new room at me.

That room didn't have roaches but I was up half the rest of the night. I asked for a refund the next day; no dice. Expedia has reached out to them multiple times and they have refused. I think this is the first time I've posted a negative review about a small business, but wanted to warn people away.

Several problems. First, I asked for no housekeeping. 3 times they entered when I asked 3 times for them not to. They don't even have do not disturb signs.
Next, the hot water went out, was out all day. Very inconvenient. They apparently never defrost the little freezers, and it was so caked up with ice that I could barely put anything in it.

The person working the property was nice enough, but it was his 2nd day and he didn't know that service animals are not a pet. After some back and forth he finally called the owner who verified it is not a pet and then he didn't charge me for it. That's really the only issue I had besides I didn't get the first floor like requested. The room was spacious and eclectic, the shower awesome. Nice large balcony, I really enjoyed it.

It was a typical budget motel. Decent room, had a sliding door which was nice. Good shower with showerhead with multiple settings and good pressure. Room smelled too strongly of cleaning product, underneath the bed had obviously not been dusted in quite some time and was filthy but pretty clean other than that.

The staff was super nice, but the room smelled like cigarette smoke. There were several cigarette butts around the perimeter of the back patio area. The pillows were not full size but the size of a sofa pillow, which was a little odd/unexpected. Blankets were very light. That said, we didn’t take time to check at the front desk for availability of more blankets or standard size pillows, which they may have offered upon request.
The room didn’t offer streaming services but seemed to be the older cable type of entertainment. There was a sock under the bed from a previous guest, and a little mold in the bathroom.

It was fine for our purposes this trip, but not worth the cost for a return visit. Especially since we booked a non-smoking room.

It is an older motel, could use some remodeling, and fresh paint. My bed was not very comfortable, saggy where body's wore down each side of bed and hot water in shower was just warm enough to get by with but not very hot. The fridge was very cold which is good and the location very convenient next to freeway, air condition worked well. And the price was very reasonable.The staff was helpful. All things considered, I would stay here again.

Counters in the bathroom were very dirty, we had to wipe them done. Paint and woodwork were in bad shape. Curtains had stains. Very old microwave. No telephone or coffee maker in room. I have traveled all over the country for the last 45 years on business trips and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Plus they charged way too much for the room @ $179 night w/tax, outrageous... Inside and outside picture on Expedia looked good. Our room didn't come any where close to that picture. You need to take this property off of your list. We took pictures if you want to see them. Today on Expedia it's only $73. We got ripped off and pissed off!

And they claim to have EV chargers - which is why I booked it. I got there with no battery left on my Lucid. And to my surprise- they only have Tesla chargers! I asked for cancellation and refund they declined. The staff was professional and nice. But declined. Hotels.com were nice and helped me cancel. I wish the hotel was more upfront with their advertising. There are more than 15 other car EV companies out there that are not Tesla and they use different connector , and yet they choose to serve only Tesla charger - a bit weird ? And no mention of it in their advertising?

No communication to lobby from inside room

I am a frequent business traveler. Nice hotel but a little odd. No telephones in the room to communicate with office staff. After 9pm office was closed and I tried calling from my cell and no response after 30 rings. I had to go outside to an outside lobby call button outside the locked office to get assistance. Not safe for a female needing help..What if there was some sort of emergency? Lucky I am a male looking to refill my kleenex box and get extra soap
