Very nice hotel about 15 minute taxi ride from City Center. The hotel provides shuttle van to 4-5 areas on a scheduled bases daily. The hotrl is green and provides very nice barhroom toiletries. The smell delicious and contain olive oil. The staff at the reception, restraunt, bar are very friendly and accomadating. I would recommend this hotel

This hotel was amazing! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. They made check-in smooth and welcoming. The bartenders were just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and they made fantastic drinks. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay at Massimi city garden hotel. On check in the receptionist Vaseli (sorry if name incorrect) was so welcoming and very informative. He gave excellent directions around the city for us with it being our first time in Rome and also recommended a lovely restaurant for food. The hotel was clean, modern and the beds are very comfortable. Nothing was too much, free shuttle to metro was great and the breakfast is lovely! Would definitely recommend staying here, can not fault anything!

This was a great hotel for our 3 day stay in Rome. Everything from the room to staff to breakfast was awesome. The hotel itself is in a nice location, close to all sightseeing activities. I loved the garden area, we hung out on the swing several times during out stay. Will definitely come back

This hotel is overrated. It really only deserves a three-star rating and does not meet four-star standards at all. The location is very inconvenient. Although there is a free shuttle bus, it only runs once an hour and can accommodate a maximum of eight people. Once it’s full, you have to wait another hour for the next shuttle. The Wi-Fi quality is extremely poor—there is virtually no internet connection in the rooms. Overall, it is not worth the price we paid for a four-star hotel.

This place is truly a gem, located just about 30 minutes from the airport. The management is doing an excellent job — for the price I paid, they really made me feel valued. The staff were genuinely enthusiastic and helpful, especially when assisting with bookings. I didn’t encounter any unwelcoming gestures during my stay.

There’s a great variety of food options, and as an Expedia member, I even received two complimentary bar drinks, which was a nice touch. The room came with a bathrobe and slippers, and it was clear they put effort into making it look clean and inviting. I appreciated having my own fridge stocked with free sparkling and still water, plus a station where you can refill your bottles. Overall, a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations.

I will definitely bring my parents here when they visit the Vatican City. Lovely people, meal and place. I hope they wont change.

Massimi City Garden was my favorite. In my opinion, it is a 5 star hotel. If I go back to Rome, I will definitely stay there again, and I will definitely recommend… I already have! We stayed for 3 nights before getting on our cruise. This hotel is lovely, a bit outside of busy center of Rome. Our room was clean, bright and very comfortable. There is a small restaurant on site with a master chef creating delicious food. The staff are very friendly and helpful with any questions or problems. We were more than happy we had picked this hotel.

This hotel was great. It is located in a clean and quiet neighborhood with access to multiple buses. Bonus, it’s located 30mins from all the activities. The hotel was very clean and the staff was super nice and friendly. The garden is beautiful. You can actually see parrots flying by now and again, (they are wild animals in Italy).

The food provided in the dinning area was great. I never had an issue, not one night. I ate breakfast there 3 times and dinner once. It was good.

One of my highlights was when I told the concierge that it was my birthday so, I’m going out to dinner. When I got back in that night, there was a bowl of fruits and a card waiting for me in my room. That was so sweet.

I would absolutely recommend Massimi to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

My only critique is its far away from Rome (City) they do put on a shuttle bus in the morning and pick up to a local Metro but was limited to certain times. Overall a great Hotel.

The staff are professional and kind, breakfast is fantastic but the room we were allocated smells like septic tank. We tried to open the windows and left it for hours while we went for dinner but after hours, the smell still unbearable and very uncomfortable. We asked for another room which we had for 1 night while they will fix the problem in the room. Their maintenance person confirmed it was really horrible stinky smell coming from the men's urinals. Each room has men's urinals and a separate water sealed toilet. The next day, the staff at reception confirmed that they had fixed the problem and we have to go back to our original room as they are fully booked. We kindly tried again but we end up sleeping with our windows wide open all night and get on with our last 2 days in the property. On our last day, I had a temperature and a very bad sore throat. I would not recommend this room 504 to anyone.

Breakfast buffet 5⭐️!!! Location not the greatest.

Reception staff welcoming.They provided me with a map and pointed out the “nearby” attractions. The hotel is far from most everything so I was bummed about that. My hope was to mainly walk to these locations. Not possible.They offer a hotel shuttle several times throughout the day, to a specific, to and from. From there you can take the metro to city center. Finding my way back to the shuttle pick spot was impossible for me. I got lost, but then again my sense of direction is awful. Once in the city center, wow! It was exactly why I came to Rome.
I used uber (taxi) most of my trip and it was pricey.
Needless to say, the hotel was clean, bed comfy. I will say the room is tiny and my view (trees) was not so great. I stayed on the 2nd floor and I could hear all of the commotion from downstairs staff in the early am. Chairs, dishes, garbage getting dumped, etc.
The best part was breakfast! Kind staff greeted me in the morning.Served from 7-10:30am, buffet style. Hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Massini City Garden Hotel. The hotel is very clean. Customer service was very helpful and polite. The breakfast they had was already included in the hotel package. You have the option to have dinner as well but you would have to pay for the dinner buffet. But it was worth it because it was great food. The staff there was excellent especially the staff in the restaurant Simoné and Bosé were very attentive and pleasant. Also the reception staff were as well. I would recommend it to everyone.

The property is great. The buffet was great. Only disappointment was when I checked in. I had booked the delux double that sleeps three. I was checking in - and my reservation stated only one adult. It was myself And my husband that would be staying there. They stated I had to pay extra. They charged me additional funds which was more than booking at the site would have been.

If you’re used to AC, please beware that there’s a limit of AC power through the hot scorching days of Rome. We had to get a separate fan to accommodate the temperature of the rooms. We’ve had multiple rooms and all were very warm throughout the day and night.

Customer service was okay until it was checkout time. There are multiple receptionists through the day therefore sometimes what maybe said to one may differ from another. We spoke with the night receptionist about late checkout the following day and was told that we can leave at 12pm. Thought that was enough until at 11:01am of the checkout day, when the cleaning aide came and said “Only one room allowed, you get out now please”.

Let that simmer and you be the judge.

The hotel is located in one of the most dirty area in Rome. You get outside and dogs’ poops , dumpsters, dirts in the whole street Largo Ambrosio Vencenso 9, a one way , very short street. You walk toward your left a couple of steps on the perpendicular street and it looks like dump. At least, the hotel could have cleaned the Largo Ambrosio vensrnso street, which could be just about 1 mile long for the respect of the guests.
The building is good and the room was ok since we were in Rome. It was not a good experience.

Hotel gives a bit of a hostel look….the rooms is small it does not accommodate 3 people comfortably…it was extremely hot with no ventilation in the bathroom you have to open the balcony door to let the steam out…..I was told that the room was hot because the hotel was full…we suffered through the night it was so exhausting that I left a day earlier than planned

We stayed at the Massimi City Garden Hotel for 4 days and it was an enjoyable experience. Accommodations are great and neat and you can tell the hotel is new. Location is great and even when the hotel is a little bit far from all the crowded places in Rome, you can easily get to all the touristic places very fast. Vatican City it’s only 15 mins away by car. The staff is amazing. They provided us with a map of the city and recommended places to eat and visit. Their breakfast is very good, full of healthy choices to eat and the staff is around the restaurant cleaning and maintaining everything neat for people to enjoy. I would definitely stay there again in my next visit to Rome and I will absolutely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
