Prior to our trip we called and spoke to Saffire and she nicely answered all our questions about our room etc. It was nice to know everything was arranged. Once we arrived we met Gentle and he was extremely helpful during the check in process.

We got to our room and were amazed about how nice it was, as the hotel underwent a huge renovation. The 2 big issues we had with the room was the barn door that slides between the closet and bathroom would stick and it was hard to get the door to move. The other was normal dressers don't exist in the room. The room had one small dresser with a grill to store items. It did have a fridge and microwave.
The beds were a little hard, but comfortable and being next to the airport you could still get a decent night sleep.
The breakfast was the regular Hampton Inn breakfast,but good.
My son enjoyed the pool, but we didn't use the fitness room.
This Hampton Inn was one of the nicest ones we've stayed at and would definitely return.

Room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was hot and satisfying. There was also ample parking, which was convenient.

However, the only issue we experienced was during check-in. When we arrived around 9:30 PM, there was no one at the reception. We had to wait about 20 minutes and made multiple calls to the helpline. One call got disconnected, but when we called again, a representative from reservations was very kind and tried her best to assist us in getting our room key.

We were extremely tired after spending the day at a water park, so the delay was quite frustrating and unexpected. After several calls to the central line, someone finally arrived and checked us in.

This was the only disappointing part of our stay. I would request the hotel to look into this so other guests do not face a similar inconvenience. Other than that everything was great! Also staff can be trained to refill breakfast without reminders.

Window coverings would not open or close, AC didn’t work, room was super bland. Barking dog for hours in next room, loud noises from room above us, people running down the halls at almost midnight. We spent two nights and moved rooms after the first night, which helped the window coverings. The room was just ok, not in great repair, and the staff weren’t super concerned with helping fix any of the issues. We had to really push to be moved to a different room. Would not recommend.

My only issue is when we arrived was informed that the check in will be at 5pm. On the hotel website including “Hotel”.com it shows 3pm check-in. I booked two rooms for myself and another family member. We drove 6 hours to get to hotel to get told the rooms still being clean and other guest have not check out yet. The website is misleading if the check out is at 5pm instead of 3pm. Once my husband call and the hotel to speak with the manager was told they are not in today. Why was the manager not onsite. Few minutes later was told the room is now available.

The room itself was clean, and the breakfast was great.

However, the check-in experience completely ruined our stay. After a long drive with little ones, the staff member at the front desk tried to give us a one-bedroom room, even though our reservation clearly stated two queen beds. He repeatedly insisted that our booking was not for two queens and claimed that because others had checked in earlier, they were fully booked.

Only after I showed him my confirmation did he quietly give us the room we had originally paid for. It was extremely frustrating and stressful — especially traveling with children. It felt like he was trying to upsell our reserved room to someone else.

Good hotel. The Hampton uses non-caustic cleaning agents. This makes a big difference whether you can breathe in the rooms and sleep comfortably. The breakfast bar is standard stuff. They do have oatmeal, which is a plus.

We always try to stay at a Hampton Inn whenever we travel because they are typically cleaner and more put together.

The lack of outlets near the bed area was problematic for this family of 4 lol we had sleep machines and phones and one plug on the wall and one plug on the side table that barely worked. But other than that - everything was good

The staff was terrible. They lied about making coffee for breakfast on Saturday and said it must of run out. It came out like sludge. On Sunday I asked for them to make it and they rolled their eyes at me and went back to talking. I tried to check out Sunday and they yelled from the office “I am on break”. I gave this 1 star for only one reason, but it was a pretty big reason. Heavily overpriced. I got there at 11 o clock at night, checking out the next day, and the room rate was well over $200, so barely got to even spend 12 hours in the place. If you're getting there late at night instead of right at 3 (check-in time), the rate really should be lower.

The only issues we had were that the walls between the room and hallway allowed all of the noise of the hallway in. If anyone is walking down the hallway talking you’re going to be hearing it. In addition the elevator makes such a loud and pretty constant bell noise every time it passes a floor that we heard that too and we were 3 rooms down from it. It was a bit annoying and should be adjusted to address the noise level for people trying to sleep in past 7am. Otherwise it was good.

We had a very mixed experience during our stay.

When we first checked in, our room keys didn’t work. After going back to the front desk, we were told that the lock on that room was broken. The staff moved us to another floor and gave us a goodie bag for the inconvenience, which we appreciated.

In the new room, however, we ran into more problems. The shower handle spun all the way around, making it unusable, and the sink faucet wasn’t attached to the base—both were broken. We notified the front desk immediately. Again, the staff was very friendly and gave us another goodie bag. They offered to send maintenance, but since we were leaving the room and didn’t want anyone in with our belongings, we declined. The front desk clerk told us to mention the issues again at checkout so management could follow up with compensation.

Unfortunately, when we checked out, the staff at the desk had no idea about the situation. They took our phone number and said the manager would reach out, but we never heard from anyone.

On the positive side, the hotel was clean, the staff we interacted with were kind and apologetic, and it seems they are making efforts to update the property. The location was convenient—about 20 minutes from the Atlantic City boardwalk.

Overall, while the staff tried to make up for the inconveniences, the repeated maintenance issues and lack of follow-through from management left us disappointed.

Absolutely enjoyed this hotel. Location is great. Nice breakfast selection. And good indoor pool. It’s not big but good especially if not too many people are inside. One thing I wish the hotel had was better outdoor seating and a fire pit would be a nice Addition. I would stay there again.

There wasn’t anything unique about the property. The facility was undergoing a renovation so we were met with wallpaper pealed off the hallway walls. Our room was very bland with one of the framed prints removed from the wall leaving the the anchors still in place. We’ve stayed at Hampton Inns before and we’re always pleased with the accommodations, so this was a disappointment. I will say that the complimentary breakfast was very good and the staff there very attentive. I don’t know if all the floors were being renovated at the same time, if not, better arrangements could have been made.

I had a few issues at the hotel and had to talk to the front desk multiple times. The poor girl, who seemed to be doing it all, was very nice and tried to fix it all. The hotel itself isn’t in the nicest area. I felt a little uncomfortable staying by myself. Then somehow as I was getting ready for bed, another patron trod getting onto my room. Somehow they switched my room but I was already in another one.

I paid $352 for one night stay… the floor I was on looked as if it was about to be renovated. All of the wallpaper was pulled off the walls at the bottom for the entire length of the hallway. The room had no art work or pictures in it and had multiple holes in the walls where pictures had been. The thermostat was literally falling off the wall. There was trash in the trashcan when I checked in I guess from previous consumers. The bathroom door didn’t close properly and had no lock. The room was incredibly noises all night- felt like the people walking above were going to fall through the ceiling. Over all bad experience. I understand the hotels need to be updated but they shouldn’t have charged full price for a room in this condition. Awful.

They should do better with customers. I complained about the room upstairs with children running at 3am and I couldn't sleep. I was informed they will switch my room.I went back to check if the room was available and I was told the people upstairs checked out so i should fine.That wa\" BIG FAT LIE\", at 5am I was awaken by children running upstairs again. Terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I used the app they recommended to use so I downloaded it. The digital key opened the side door but not my room. Outside trash laying around including a lot of liqueur bottles. No doggie bags at either pet station. People at front desk very friendly and kind. Let us have late check out. Gym was pretty nice to get a quick workout in. Breakfast was good. Just a lot of stuff out of stock so had to constantly ask for things to be refilled. The waffles are so yummy! Room was spacious. Carpet was dirty if u walked around bare foot, which we never do, ur feet would be black. Husband literally ran to get flips after shower because he forgot them and feet were black, so back in the shower. Bed was comfortable and room ac got cold which we loved! Staff was very friendly and helpful 🙂

We were a group of ten celebrating a Birthday during the July 4th weekend.
Made reservations for three rooms.

Reservations were for Handicapped accessible rooms since two members of the group cannot get in and out of bathtubs.
Arrived at 3:00pm, which is supposed to be checkin time. One of the three rooms was ready. The two other rooms were not ready until 4:15. No compensation or apology was offered for taking over an hour from us.
Also requested adjoining rooms and told people already checked in got those rooms. How did they checkin before three when that is the time of checkin?
All three rooms were not accessible and all three had tubs. We requested at least one room with the walk in shower and told the hotel was full.
The three rooms were on two floors and all far apart. Made things inconvenient for us as a group.

The hotel is also under renovation and this was not mentioned during booking. There were tools and paint and dust and loose wall paper all over the halls and elevator banks. The workers were looking at us like we were in their way, which made things very unpleasant. if you have young children, which we had a toddler in the group this was not safe at all.

Hotel says pool is open from 7:00 am to 10:00pm. Tried to go in at 11:00 am one day and it was closed for cleaning. It opened again after 12:00, but why clean the pool during the day?

Overall, just a lot of inconveniences that I wish we didn't have to deal with.

Arrived at the property and were told that Expedia over booked the rooms they had available. Due to this, we were given a king size bed with a pull out couch for a family of 5. Hotel stated they couldn’t accommodate with anymore pillows or blankets due to availability. We had to leave the hotel to purchase these just for our stay. Due to the weekend we were traveling most other facilities were booked and the hotel would not refund any money. We were told the pool was open and given times at arrival, then the following day it was closed. The hotel is worn and damaged. Wall paper lining entire hall way ripped. I know there is construction being done, but the hallway wasn’t even vacuumed. Shower in our room leaked and lacked a seal around the doors so water constantly poured on the tile floor causing a slip hazard. We requested refills on our shampoos and conditioners and were told there were not anymore to provide refills. Beds were terrible. Breakfast wasn’t restocked adequately for the crowd. Saturday guests waited 15 min for staff to restock hot foods. Friday the sign said fresh cut fruit and it was canned fruit cocktail. Entire breakfast area consisted of 6 tables seating from 2-4 people each table. The last day the dragged out some office tables and chairs to provide 2 more tables to eat at. Outdoor patio was a joke. Ripped patio set with no cushions. Location was decent and a short drive from the strip. Gas stations nearby for odds and ends. We won’t be returning!

The facility is currently undergoing upgrades which are much needed based on previous stays. The rooms are clean and well stocked with linens and supplies. The pool is great! Only complaint on that was the time it opens, which for us was important because we got up early just to use the pool before breakfast. It was supposed to open at 6 but we had to wait until 8:30 due to maintenance. However, the pool is clean and fun!! It appears the renovations will improve the facility more and looking forward to another stay.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast options superb!
