It was decent enough to sleep at no crazy bugs just ants ... the pool wasn't working and we didn't get maid service the durrantion of our stay staff doesn't speak English but they were nice enough ...if your looking for a place just to sleep it works but your not getting much past tht just go into it knowing this a budget hotel n thts what your getting also the trash cans on property were so filled they were over flowing n stunk real bad we stayed 4 days n they didn't empty them ...

The room was some what clean, the room was too close to white horse pike and was very noisy. Was there 8 nights and house keeping only cleaned the room twice in 8 days and had to go to the front desk to get clean towels. The good thing about the stay was the shower had good hot water with good pressure.

The breakfast is very poor, the whirlpool doesn't work, the shower curtain is falling apart, and the refrigerator makes a deafening noise. The Jacuzi, doesn't work. The pool is out of order. The photos on the website are very different from reality.

Other than that, scary brown stuff coming out of the walls, pile of broken ac units and used needle lying outside. Cobwebs in every corner. Didn’t dare take a shower.

A rather peculiar place where people come for a single night to spend time with women of easy virtue. The trash cans are overflowing, and the wind blows trash all over the courtyard. The breakfast is terrible and very meager. The toasts burn no matter what setting you use, and the bagels are very hard. Many chairs are overturned, and there is no staff. There is a pool, but it is closed to guests. If you have a choice, you should choose another hotel.

We stayed at Green State Inn from May 14–17 in a 2 queen bed room while attending basketball tournaments in Atlantic City. Overall, it was decent for a short stay if your expectations are realistic.

Hotel definitely shows some age and wear, but for sleeping, showering, and leaving in the morning, it did the job.

Pros:
Room was clean
Beds were comfortable
No bugs during our stay
Easy check-in
Plenty of parking
Convenient location about 15 minutes from Atlantic City
Not overly noisy despite being near a road and airport

Cons:

The room was non-smoking, but there was still an old cigarette smell when entering. Opening the window helped.
WiFi was terrible — very slow and inconsistent. I used my phone hotspot most of the time instead.
The staff was okay, not particularly welcoming.
The property is worn out in places with paint patches and humidity damage in the bathroom.
The shower head is mounted low, so taller people may need to bend.
Sink pressure is very strong and splashes everywhere if opened fully.
There is a $50 deposit that was not very obvious during booking.

Breakfast is very basic grab-and-go style: cereal, plain bagels, mini muffins, juice, and coffee.

Overall, if you need a place to sleep for a few nights while attending events nearby, it’s fine. Just don’t expect anything fancy.

Upon arrival, we asked for a first floor as there was no elevator. The clerk said it would cost us an extra $10 as it had a jacuzzi tub, which we didn't need. Had no choice but to pay it.'

The breakfast was meager, at best. Coffee and juice was watered down. Very little variety and no meat. Another family was so disgusted, they went to a nearby restaurant.

Would not stay here again.

This was our second stay at this property. It is always clean. The front desk attendant was attentive. I called down and asked for help with turning on the hot tub. He came right up to showed me. The beds are on the harder side, but that’s what I like. I will stay again.

We stayed a couple of nights. On check-in, the gentleman at the desk was very hard to understand, very hard. When we were assigned our room, and we went there, it was still being cleaned and not ready. We were offered a different room, which was an upgrade, and we accepted it. The room was clean, the bed was decent, and everything seemed in order.
If we had a problem, it was in the bathroom, the light is on a 15-minute timer, so if you take a longer shower or bathe, the light automatically goes off. Never saw this in my life, but there it was. We had a jetted tub, which was nice, and the shower was OK.
They offer a continental breakfast, which consists of a few bagels, some bread, and some very tiny muffins, along with some cold cereal. They didn't even have hot water for tea. OK, it was a continental breakfast, and we managed.
Would we stay here again, probably.
If you're going to Atlantic City, it is about 15 minutes away.

I stay here often when I don't care about being right in Atlantic City and when I want one of those deep jetted tubs which are so nice. The place isn't fancy but it's always clean and checkin is always quick n easy. Lots of Easy parking often right in front of your room.

This spot was extremely outdated. The curtains and ironing board have been in that room since the 90s. The bathroom sink had some weird brown caulking going around it. The carpet had everybodies hair on it. The continental breakfast was bread and bagels. 2 types of cereal. A tub of yogurt. One of those juice and water machine that had apple, orange, and cranberry juice. Oh the apple juice had ants in it.

So I arrived @ 330 am for checkin for only some sleep before continuing on my way. Was given a non-smoking room that smelled like marijuana. I asked for a different room which shared a wall AND all the smells with the first room I was given. Finally, I was moved to a third room which smelled better. Not great, but better. I was exhausted after being up for 22 hours straight and all I wanted was sleep. I will say the gentleman at the desk was very apologetic and offered a late checkout in case I wanted a bit more sleep. The walls and doors were in terrible repair with holes in the wall, terrible patch jobs and looked to have never been cleaned, like when a child grabs the door instead of the knob and the entire edge is black with dirt. 2 of the 4 lightbulbs were out over the vanity. The 2 remaining each had a different kelvin so one was daylight and one was yellow/soft. The bed was comfy enough but pillows crap. Oh and the heat/ac kept blowing the blackout curtains so there was light I did not want coming in after getting to sleep sometime after 430am!

We stay for Valentine’s Day. The room was very clean. We didn’t hear anyone else. The jet tub water didn’t have hot water for long enough. But bring as it was Valentine’s Day I hope it’s just because a lot of people were using their tubs too haha. The breakfast was just Frosted Flakes or raisin brand, bagels, toast, and a couple other bakery items. Our room had a fridge and microwave which was nice.

Little bugs on the bed, the thin blanket that was supposed to be on the bed very thin had a bunch of holes in. It was really not that clean.
The sink was stained. Water in the shower did not want to shut off, kept dripping all night.
I stayed here before. I may not stay here again.

I stay here a lot and was very disappointed in the room. My other stays were good. The closet door handle came off when trying to open the door. The bathroom sink leaked. The tub spicket came out of the spicket and two holes. And the worst was roaches in the room. No towels or toilet paper in the room. When I went to get some they gave me 2 towels and 1 roll of toilet paper. We were only there for 2 nights.
