The rooms aren't perfectly cleaned but decent for the price of staying here. Mold in the bathroom. Air conditioning is mid but works. TV barely works. The wifi is not consistent, its always in and out. Free light breakfast is great with open spaces to sit and eat.

This hotel was an absolute disgrace felt so creep an dirty had to go to my car to get one of my travel blanket to sleep on lobby was so spooky an old lookinf the pool had a little water on it with a whole metal trash can floati g around the elevators mad disturbing noises as it was moving up an down so no I do not recommend this hotel I rather sleep in my car next time

Absolutely awful and unsafe experience. I booked this hotel for a cheer competition and arrived after a 6-hour drive with my three young children and our dog. From the moment we entered the lobby, the atmosphere felt off. There was a woman sitting there who appeared homeless, which immediately raised concerns.

While checking in, my 7-year-old needed to use the restroom, and staff repeatedly insisted she go alone, which was completely unacceptable.

We got our keys and headed to the room, but the conditions were shocking. The hallways had visible damage, including holes in the ceiling, and the smell was overwhelming—a strong urine odor throughout. It was disgusting. When I opened the room door, it was clearly filthy and falling apart, so we didn’t even step inside.

To make matters worse, another individual who did not appear to be a guest was riding a bicycle through the hallway near our room. The entire environment felt unsafe, unsanitary, and honestly gave off the kind of unsettling feeling you’d expect from something you’d see in a trafficking documentary.

I immediately requested a refund. The manager first offered a “nicer side,” then denied the refund and claimed I was lying. Thankfully, I had photos and Expedia issued the refund.

If you value your safety, your children’s safety, and basic cleanliness—do NOT stay here.

AC DIDNT WORK, TV AND CABLE DIDNT WORK. breakfast was terrible (no fruits, no veggies, no eggs, no juce). Only corn flakes with milk , mini muffins and bread with jam, coffee. That’s it. No proteins at all!! If you don’t need breakfast it’s ok to stay one night.

The property is very worn and showing signs of serious wear and tear. The front desk staff was functional and robotic, not friendly. The bed was comfortable enough. There was an open soap in the shower with a small hair in it sitting on top of a sealed soap. It was just not a comforting environment.

We've had numerous stays at this location over the past year. The accommodations are clean but a little dated. Alex has always been professional, amenable, and accommodating. During our last stay it was a bit noisy due to guests with unruly children but that is not a reflection upon the staff. The housekeeping staff was efficient and responsive.

here's the issue with the Days Inn there in Absecon. In their lobby, in the dining area (for breakfast) they had black plastic bags filled with trash right next to the regular enclosed trash recepticals. This is not sanitary and it looks, to any reasonable person, like the owners are not paying any attentioin to what their dining area looks like. Furthermore, their downstairs \"living room area\" was not vacuumed - neither was the hallway on the second floor where my room was. It was littered wtih paper and other debris. Again - highly unsanitary and looking awful. It is as it they do not care at all what their place looks like. the sad thing is - this place has the potental to be the best of the many hotels that are on Route 30, going into Atlantic City - yet, they are among the worst. I know because I have stayed at about 7 or 8 places along \"the pike\" over the past 15 years or more. My message is this: Days Inn - you need to clean up your act. I seriously doubt I will stay there again.

Staff less than helpful, room had a broken bed, rusted drain in the shower, heater stopped working half way through our stay, tv wouldn’t stay on for more that 10 minutes, burn holes in bedding, complementary breakfast consisted of box of Entenmann’s powdered donuts, a box of Frosted Flakes and white bread. Also, parking lot hadn’t been cleared of snow and Ice and the elevator was sketchy.

The property is so rundown. The room we stayed in was very dirty, there was some type of liquid staining the woodwork of the bed like it had dripped down on it and the Walls and Carpet had many things and scrapes. The grout in the bathroom is dirty, especially in the corners. And the breakfast was only cornflakes toast, coffee store-bought, disgusting, mini muffins and milk, nothing else.

The staff at this hotel is like family. I’ve rented a room here every time I’m in town, and it’s always quiet. During my week long stay, the housekeeper cleaned my room twice, which I was both grateful for and surprised by. The air conditioning had an issue with cooling the room, but overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back.

I was told to go back to Africa by one of the staff members because I asked him what his ethnicity was because it was difficult to understand him because of his accent.

I will NOT be returning to this property and I will be filing a complaint with the Absecon Police Department over this matter.

Booked this room for NYE so thankfully we weren’t staying long. Whole place is dirty and needs updating. I refused to shower. Breakfast was sparse. The walls are paper thin — can hear every word or noise in the room next door clear as day. Windows aren’t any better and felt like we were sleeping outside with the traffic/wind noise. It’s cheap but you get what you pay for so don’t expect much here.

This property is not recommended. Looked like each of the rooms some body had intercouse on each of the chairs. Pubes and hairs all over the bathroom along with mold. Ironing board was horrid. Couldnt see out the windows. Ac unit was so filthy and covered in dust like it wasnt being maintained. Had the maid come to my second room and clean after i had my first room switched it was so dirty. But it still felt dirty. I put a clean sheet over the chair and brought my own bedding from home cause i had children with me. Breakfast was powdered and chocolate mini donuts. Both indoor and outdoor pools were closed. Outdoor pool was expected to be closed being december, but due to unsanitary reasons the indoor pool was closed as well. Spend the extra money on someplace else unless this place is a last resort.

It was terrible when we stayed there for 1 night. The room was not clean at all. My son dropped his ball and went under the bed so I tried to get it and I found a female underwear under the bed. It was late when we tried to book with other hotels. So we have no choice, we just stayed there to sleep for the night and we left right away the next day.

The furniture looked like it had been dropped out a third story window and dragged back inside. Have Expedia staff members LOOK at these properties. This place was the stuff of nightmares.

Unfortunately, horrible from start to finish. After check in we noticed the damp smell, giant sign that said pool and gym closed(main reasons for staying there). Once to our rooms one had a broken air conditioner, bathroom fan, and fridge. The other had broken hair dryer, giant hole in wall, and freezer defrosted. The Non smoking rooms stunk of weed smoke. Even if we could look past all this the rooms were just dirty and the behind had burn holes in them. When i asked the desk for a change they stayed they were at capacity. This hotel is giant and their want more than 30 cars there. No maintainence ever came, no accommodations ever made. Or last and only hope was the breakfast provided, but not as posted. We were explained just muffins and toast, no dairy, no meat, and no hot food. Or first morning after knowing we were screwed with no other properties with rooms i got to peer in the gym area as the\"children\" ran into their living quarters. The staff was living in the gym setup as an apartment. Not even that was the topper, i also discovered 5 people living in their vehicles scattered around the property amongst all the broken glass in the parking spots. This was by far the worst stay anywhere in states we have ever had. No apologies, no discount, no refund, just a horrible special trip for a loved one and family.

Worst experience ever and I could cry. Booked for my parents and when they got there,receptionist was so so unprofessional.Gave them a very tough time. The first room they got had no heat. We kept calling them and they never answered.My mom had to go downstairs and it took them about 2 hours give them a different room..As I am typing this email,it’s 12:14am and my parents are freezing in the second room also..Been hours and they just came in to adjust the heat..The bathroom is the most disgusting thing I ever seen.The curtains are all ripped.I don’t understand why this people will check us in a room like this.curtains are all torn.I can’t believe what I saw. Not worth a penny
