Not A Happy Customer

Wasn’t too happy with the uncleanliness of the room. It smelled old, walls were dirty and paint peeling off of them. Toilet seat had paint peelings coming off of it getting stuck on my buttocks every time I sat down to use the bathroom which was annoying. Looked like dried up old blood spots on the bathroom floor which was cringe. And when I took a shower and got out to use the towels that were pre rolled by room service. The towels were nasty and covered in what looked like old spaghetti sauce. Also I found two empty Modelo 12 pk beer boxes left behind the tv stand as trash from a previous customer. Which indicates the rooms at Rest Inn don’t get cleaned up much and if so half cleaned. I was also hit with unexpected room fees upon arrival after I had already paid and booked for my room in full. Worst experience ever, I’m not a happy customer wish I could get a full refund. But hey you live and you learn. Please stay far away from here! You’re better off sleeping on someone’s couch. Disgusted overall

The pictures online and the actual room are not the same. Very smelly, stains all over the bedding, no garbage cans, bathroom smelled of urine, and the list goes on and on. After showing an additional $20 fee was paid when the room was booked online, the person checking us in stated \"it didn't show on his side\" and demanded another $20 cash be paid before we could stay. We survived maybe 6hrs because we were just too exhausted to continue driving, but we slept in our clothes and tried to sit up as much as we could.

I paid online in advance and even paid for plan protection and when I arrived the guy at the desk tried telling me “infants” are an extra $15 a night, even though my son is 3… he claimed he waived it then also he charged me $40 and when I asked for a receipt I never got one so when I check out in the morning I better get my $40 back

When I arrived, even though I had reservations, I was told they were closed or renovation. Fortunately I had a printed copy of my reservation confirmation. After showing the man in the office that, I was provided with a room. I obviously was not one of the renovated rooms. The first morning I was there, when I opened the door to leave, part of the door trim fell off. Only 1 of two lamps had a light bulb in it. The air conditioner barely kept the room semi cool on the highest setting. It had a fridge and a microwave. However, no available receptacle to plug both in. I will not be staying there again.

Stay was very bad lock did not wor properly for door, nats came out of sink and brown water came up from shower and sink drains. Carpet had many stains called front desk several times. Bed had sunk in two bbn places. Had hard time sleeping noise all night fromsecomd floor. Im an avid user of hotels.com app this was a regretful stay.

The property is not well staffed. The property and the room is clean. There was no ice machine or vending machines. The floors had holes in them from the air conditioning condensation, and the bedding wasn't comfortable. The room was not worth the price paid. They charged me an additional fee of $20 per person when I arrived.

This property has roaches, no hot water, no cable tv, you have to clean your own room. DON’T BELIEVE THE PICTURES. The furniture is nasty and dirty. Staircase was unsafe to travel upstairs. No ice machine, refrigerator was not working and broken down soda machine. There was no housekeeping to clean the room. Spiders are everywhere. This place you stay at own risk.

First room I checked into (photo too large to attach) had a big hole next to the AC just letting the outside air in. Hole was covered by a bed sheet. I then got checked into the room next door. I then noticed the sink to be leaking onto the floor below it and possibly may have seen some black mold. I quickly left after seeing that.

This was a bad experience for me. I didn’t stay at the hotel. The bedding had too many nets spiders all over the bed. I am trying to get my refund back. They won’t even answer the phone call. It was cheap and a last minute trip. The motel needs some work. The fridge needs defrosting and cleaning they had sheet and pillow cases on the stained furniture no pool or ice machine. They didn't even empty the fridge between guests. But the bed was comfortable.

It is a lovely hotel. The grounds are clean and neat. The room was gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. My bed was so comfortable that it was hard to get up and go every morning. Jay was very accommadating and nice. He had a very pleasing sense of humor which i like. The room was clean and the furniture and decor was nice. We looked the look. A bench at the foot of the bed. A desk for your laptop/tablet work space a nice chair, the pillows where fluffy, my girlfriend liked the picture frame t the headboard of the bed. Brand new flatscreen tv, plenty of lighting which i was surprised about. Most of all very quiet and peaceful we didnt even hear our neighbors.

It was the worst experience ever in my life, the hotel was so dirty looks like they never vacuum. The pillows and covers were ripped and so disgusting. The towels had a bad smell. They had little insects they were biting the whole night we couldn’t even sleep and also the room had a bad smell never suggest that hotel to anybody. The guy also charged us more for room service fees which wasn’t listed on Expedia when we made the booking.

Ant infested, woke up to ants all over my food and all over the bathroom. The manager just came and sprayed the room with ant spray and said he couldn’t give me another room because they were fully booked. If you’re on a budget it’ll do, but you sure can’t be picky or sensitive about cleanliness if you stay here!

When we got there had to pay a extra $70 that was not told and when I said never again the dude gave us a free upgrade to the deluxe room but the room was dirty the shower was nasty the toilet didn’t flush right the towels looked like they wasn’t even washed the bed was the hardest thing I ever slept on the ac took forever to cool off the room the only thing that was good about the place was it was only a 20 minute drive to ac for the price you pay for a 2 night stay is not worth it at all

spot was convenient 30 minutes from the beach. it’s not a 5 star hotel but for what it is it’s a decent spot to stay for a night or so if needed. some dirt and such under the beds but other than that there is no worry about getting too hot in the summer months. felt like i was sleeping in a walk in freezer at night.

We decided to stay one last day and noticed this property was the cheapest price. We paid the cost of the room with a balance of round about $15 we had to pay once we got there. (State tax)
When we arrived he told us that we had to pay $30 because it state tax and its 2 people thats occupying the room.
What a scammer!!! I know about paying of tax but it said nothing about per person $15
So i ended up paying $120 oppse to $90-95.
We get in the room first glance..Nice
As i started to look closer dead bugs everywhere, tv kept cutting off, toilet was supper low, stains on the tissue, mold everywhere. No help or service at all. This place needs to be shut down. My room was non refundable.

I did check in early and was charged, which was fine, but the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, there was leftovers in the refigerator, and there were stains on the bed sheets and towels. The man running the office did come up and clean the bathroom and change the sheets when I went down and complained. The property itself is very old and worn. One of the handrails going to the second floor was loose. On a positive note is was very quiet and it was close to main street with access to many stores. Convenience store, liquor store, dollar store and restaurants that delivered. I stayed because the man at the desk was very apologetic and did come up quickly to clean the room. However, I do not think I will be staying there again.

Hotels.com, You should really consider taking off this Inn from your Website!
Creepy dim lighting; roaches in the bathroom and the basin area; Water tank to the toilet had to be MANUALLY filled with water before each use and when we opened the main water valve it made a horrendous loud noise!!! Shower curtain wasn't keeping the water from the floor; Water accumulated in the tub while showering...ugh!; Soda/Coffee spills on the night table! The attendant came out from a back room, was polite and took such pride in telling us that the room we were getting was an upgrade...Lord! Can't imagine what the regular rooms were like. Free breakfast as stated was out of the question. No non-smoking rooms. All of this luxury and a few hours of sleep for $300+. My husband and I were so disgusted and afraid that a creepy crawler would jump in bed with us...eww. Never been so happy to see the sun come up. Never again! No recommendation from us. We rate them 0.0. They need major renovations.

Got in about midnight and key did not open door, my fiancee had to go back & forth to office 3x and finally clerk returned to open the door for us with his key! Rug was saturated all around mini fridge because it was not running \"because housekeeping unplugs it\"..needed a quick, cheap room last minute and this was it. Luxury it was not, but for $80 it was comfy bed and AC worked with no crazies screaming outside so thumbs up for that! Nice and quiet.

Cockroaches everywhere in the room. Felt unsafe because of on the guest laying on the stairs and talking on phone and barely I had a place to walk up to stairs. Very low grade place and highly priced.I regretted booking it and I slept at one corner of the bed and kept all lights on afraid of cockroaches and the sink clogged the second I tried to wash my hand . I did not want to even brush my teeth in that place coz I felt it was filthy. Pay extra some other place and stay at a different location if you are a single girl and looking to stay somewhere for a night. Even the door of the room I couldn’t use the latch coz it was installed wrong.

He picks and chooses who he wants to charge extra fee too. He charged me $60 extra on top of the $220 for 2 nights. While he didn't charge my mother in law, my best friend and my husband best friend who also stood there for the same nights as me. I even went back in and told him why he charged me and not them and he didn't have an answer. The rooms where dirty especially the tub, the beds are on cylinder blocks just ghetto. Not worth the almost $300 I spent for two nights

Was a little nervous when we pulled up because there was mattresses in the parking lot, weird chairs outside, tricycles hooked up (???), and locked in office.
