The room was simple and functional, though amenities such as toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided. Water pressure in our Level 4 room was rather weak, but the water heater worked reliably throughout our stay. Breakfast was halal and consistent each day, offering rice, noodles, bread, and cereal, along with coffee and tea. While the menu did not change during our five-night stay, it was sufficient for a light start to the day. The presence of a lift made access to higher floors convenient and hassle-free.

This was probably the best place that I stayed the whole time I was in Chiang Mai, but they actually charged me for one of those little instant coffee packets(that looks like it's worth 1 penny!!!) Charged me 20 bhat. That was truly shocking and astonishing and appalling, kind of like charging people somebody 1 dollars for a single 2 inch by 2 inch square of toilet paper but aside from this insult absolutely impeccable.

The hotel was clean but very hot in room, the staff seemed somewhat nice (was only checked in for 2hrs) we left 2hrs and 30mins after we did a walk outside the hotel, it is very unsafe area outside a lot of muslim religion blasting their prayer on loud speakers throughout the day and a lot of locals were really unfriendly and unapproachable, if you are apart of the religion then i dont think you'll have a problem here if you can deal with the dirtyness and poor conditions outside and around the hotel. Will not be back due to the areas around the hotel.

the place was a beautiful one.
the room was exceptionally spacious and have a balcony with it.
cleaniless was a top notch.
Breakfast was good.
The distance to & fro airport &night market was fairly near.
Food options varies along the streets.
Just the toilet light was a little dimmed but other that that it was awesome! :)
It was really an honour to have stay here.

Hidden gem away from Old City

This place is amazing. Such lovely staff and facilities. The breakfast is so good and you can even get made to order omelettes and pancakes. Such a wonderful stay and the area is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle off the touristy parts on Chiang Mai. I can't recommend this place more. If I come back, I'm definitely going to book here again. Thank you so much!

Overall a nice, modern and clean property with spacious rooms and a nice atmosphere. Beautiful roof terrace but underused without a bar. Restaurant closes at 9pm.

Property is a 25 minute walk at least to the old town and 10-15 mins to the night bazaar. It’s a little way out of town for easy exploring.

Oh my! This is such a beautiful property. The theme design is beautiful and tasteful. Great architecture and ambiance. Rooms are spacious, clean and fresh. Bed was super comfy and air conditioning system perfect. Bathroom extremely clean and maintained. The entire hotel was super clean, I couldn’t find anything wrong. We ate dinner at the hotel cafe and it was super yummy. Excellent service from our waitress. The Thai tea was good. We ordered the green curry, thai fried rice, pad Thai and an appertizer platter that included samosas, spring rolls and a very tasty mushroom soup. The entire food was delicious and affordable. Very affordable! The staff was so kind and appreciative for the tip. This hotel should be a 5 star hotel. Totally worth the stay. Area is also very safe. We walked around the neighborhood and felt safe. We’ll definitely be back here again.

First, this place is away from everything, a lot of local food selling near by the hotel, that’s a no no, to much big RAT’S running around, also, on their website, they offer shuttle service to and from the airport, well that is not true, when I called for shuttle service, they told me that they don’t offer that services, there is construction going on next door to the hotel, lots of noise, there is no swimming pool. While checking in, they only give me one room key, when I ask for additional key, because I travel with friends, they told me that’s their policy, I ask her to show me in writing, and she couldn’t, to get additional key, you have to give them 300.00 baht deposit to get additional key, I would not recommend staying here, because it’s cheap, don’t do it.

I was expecting to be closer to the old city but in the end didn't spend a lot of time there anyway. I've spent more than a week here and have checked out and returned. There's a local night market within walking distance as well as many restaurants. The hotel kept my excess baggage so I could travel by scooter to chiang dao. Bonus points for me. Scooters are about 200 / day and worth every penny. Cabs and tuk tuks just make up fares as they see fit. You can park anywhere too. You can see almost everything by scooter and have fun along the way stopping where ever you like and staying as long as you like.

Only part we didn’t like was check in staff were clueless. Couldn’t find our reservation. Not friendly. Did not want to speak to us at all. And we were told we could check in early based on availability, so when we arrived they said our room wasn’t cleaned or ready yet. But when we asked a staff member walking by he told us to pay them 500 baht and they would let us. We were willing to pay the fee from the beginning so it seemed a bit shady suddenly a rolm was available as soon as we had cash

Decent location if you look around the area.

Can't complain about the hotel itself, especially for the price. Was one of the quieter hotels we stayed in while we were there. The street immediately outside the hotel isn't great but there are some great food stalls one street away, a jazz club, and some awesome coffee shops with excellent food along the ping river. We will be going back.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is a bit away from the center of town. Make sure you have good address for tuk-tuk. There are some nice small food stalls around the area with very affordable pricing. Thursday nights there is a wonderful (local) market at the end of the road. 8th floor has a nice observation deck with bench where you can see wonderful sunsets. There is some neighborhood noise i.e., chickens and mosque, but adds to the experience. Room is nice, new sheets and towels daily. Price quite worth the package.

Cons: the check-in experience was sub-par. We arrived early (around 11am) and asked if there was a room (for two) available for early check-in; the front desk said no and told us to come back at 2pm, which is the normal check-in time. Totally understandable. So we went out to grab some lunch and came back to the hotel about an hour later to grab some stuff from our luggage, and asked if there were any rooms ready by chance, to which they said no. Again, totally understandable. So we decided to then go out and get a foot massage and return at 2. As we left and were walking down the driveway, I realized that I should probably change into shorts for the massage so turned back to the hotel. As we entered the lobby, the front desk had finished checking in a couple and their luggage was being loaded to the cart by the bellhop. This confused me but I didn't mention anything, and before I could ask for my suitcase to grab some shorts out of it, the girl at the front desk said \"oh we have a room for you now\". This may have just been lucky timing but something about the situation and her demeanor gave me the impression that she felt compelled to finally check us in a little early because we witnessed the other guests being led to their room when we had just been told literally 2 minutes prior that nothing was available.

Oh, and there were ants in our room around the desk. Do not leave any opened food unattended for long.

Hotel’s location was inconvenient with nothing around it. When we arrived, we were only allowed to check in if we paid extra because it was before the check in time. While the room was clean and fairly comfortable, there was a very unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. Water pressure was very low and hotel did not provide toothbrushes. On our last day, the receptionist was very unhelpful with the arranging of transport to airport. We have stayed in many hotels and never once were we told that the hotel is not able to call a taxi for us.

Location was great. Walking distance to the night market and Saturday market. I’m a person that enjoys walking so for me it didn’t feel far at all. The hotel staff were always helpful and attentive. The breakfast had enough options and always felt fresh. The hotel doesn’t have a pool but that was not something I was looking for in a hotel for this trip.

This was our favorite hotel by far! Aside from being adorable, we experienced nothing but top notch service here. The rooms were large and clean. Beds was extremely firm, however. The staff was able to accommodate our early arrival and was very helpful when we asked for recommendations or needed help communicating. Breakfast was pretty good. The only negative thing that I could say is that our door was left open by housekeeping. Luckily nothing was missing. The gentleman working there was our favorite. Super sweet and extremely helpful. Highly recommended this property.

Our stay at Casa Marocc was wonderful. The staff were so friendly, even learning my children’s names so they could greet them by name every time we walked in the door. The concierge, Kaew, was amazing. She worked so hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Chiang Mai and went out of her way to help arrange and organize activities for us.

I travel a lot, but Casa Marroc is hands down the best value for money hotel I have stayed in ever!
Also, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman who works at the reception and the lady who is booking the activities went above and beyond to look after me and my girlfriend and make sure our stay was hassle free and enjoyable.
Well run, clean hotel mixed with the great value for money and outstanding customer service. Will be booking my accommodation here when I am back in Chiang May later in the year.

They need to train their staffs.

The hotel is far from the old town, probably won’t come back to this again . The staffs are quite useless, they are not helpful with the concerns we have despite they could speak English. They wanna charge us 300baht for their airport shuttle when we left , which is double the price of the taxi that drove from the airport. And most of the time, I see them just talking or eating or play phones, only a few exception. The room is spacious but the bathroom has a weird wet smell.
