Quiet, clean room. 2 bathrooms, 2 showers. Perfect for 2-3 guests. Decent gym. Roof top pool. 20 minute walk to “the square.” Would stay again

The location was excellent! The personal from the building , travel agency were amazing. How ever it is super basic. We even had to ask for a kitchen towel to dry the dishes. Our initial room was great, but had a few damages. We reported it and they insisted to change our room, so we did, the bedroom in the new room was super small. We both had to get on the bed through the same side as there was no space on one side. Other than that it was good. Lived the location

Great property, good gym and pool with great views of Chiang Mai.

Didn’t get house keeping despite staying over 3 days, memory foam pillows had a strong smell, and shower was great but drain needs unblocking. I think the sofa and chairs fabric needs to be cleaned. An iron and ironing board would have been ideal.

The whole check-in and entrance process was incredibly easy, send them a message and they’re happy to help. I’m very grateful for being able to stay here and would still recommend anyone who wants a nice, quiet place, so close to excellent street markets and places to the main city.

DO NOT stay here

This is not a hotel. There are signs that say it’s not a hotel and not for temporary stays. There was a weird smell in the room and a dirty towel when we first arrived. There was even a big mushroom growing out of the wall.

The space was ok. Sufficient for 3 people. The shower water temperature and pressure needs care. Its essentially its a condo rental. However, the communication was quick and responsive. We were only offered 1 key, called for a second key upon deposit. And it was there within 15-20mintues.

Great Location

Anta is a great location and managed very well. It is right down the street from the Night Market and there are plenty of eating options within walking distance. The apartment is clean and the A/C worked well.

I was pleasantly surprised with this property, it’s in a great location, I got a high floor as requested and room was spacious and modern and I got to wash my clothes in the washing machine (it’s the little things) as I am traveling light I need to wash everyday. The rooftop pool was amazing and local food vendors just outstanding. The door staff at entrance were fabulous and even helped me rent a bike. I was booked into the Mecure and it was that bad I checked out and so glad I found this place! There are no staff to speak of on site so you must be respectful of people around you and of course someone’s investment in the property, so leave it clean and tidy so others can enjoy it as well.

Anta Residence was very nice and well located near the night bazaar and other markets. The security was good and the instructions to get access to the room were easy and worked without problem. There were tour companies in the lobby that helped us book a day with the elephants as well as a taxi to take us to the airport. Prices for both were what we expected. The pool was very nice with a great view from the 16thn floor. There were few chairs however so you have to get lucky to get one. We were disappointed in a few missing items in the apartment however. There were no hand towels in the kitchen nor any in the bathroom. We had to use bath towels for all drying whether in the kitchen, the bathroom or at the pool. There was also no hot water in any of the taps except the bath (which was fine). It would also have been nice if a little dish soap was provided to help keep the dishes clean. Also, no toaster which I consider pretty much a standard item in an apartment.

If you know about all these things the place is very good as mentioned above.

Fine place to stay in nice residential building

The location was great. The hotel staff is friendly. The rooftop pool and views were fantastic. The room itself was a bit small but manageable for a single or couple. There was also very minimal supplies in the kitchen. There were no paper towels/napkins in the kitchen and there was also no way to wash the dishes. There were also wet towels left in the washer when we arrived.

Great place to stay close to the old city and near the wonderful night market. The pool is a bit small and the rooms could have been cleaner but overall it was a great deal and a beautiful place. Another great perk was having a clothes washer so we didn't have to spend time and money going to laundry.

Abusive and loud guests/residents

I booked 3 nights, All was good until my last night, There is a shared garden area which was next to my condo, On my last night at close to midnight, I was just getting ready to go bed when heard screaming and shouting coming from garden area, I went out and there was several young Australians Drinking, smoking, screaming and shouting, I asked them to be quite but got a barrel of abuse, I then tried calling the number for management office (which was left in Condo for problems) but no answer. (I had an early flight the next day, So didn't need this hassle). In end I had to get dressed and from 15th floor go down to see security, As we was all about to go back up, The Australians came out the lift, There was a massive confrontation. So yeah not best way to be spending my holiday. Would rather pay and stay in a hotel to get support from staff if needed.

Good location to old city and night bizzar

Very clean, modern design , great facilities, great location.

Bed is pretty hard if your used to a soft matteress. Slightly noisy (but you are in the city) nothing to major.

i think not have been offered extra set of keys threw me off specially not knowing that if you dont have the keys you cant stay inside the apartment because it controls everything. there is not a front desk but the bellman was extremely helpfull

Worst experience so far.

We arrived in Chiang Mai around 10am, we read he reviews and saw that no one could find the “anta residence”. Well, that’s because it’s not a place. Everyone said it’s in the astra but there are four astra locations. So we didn’t know where to get dropped off. It took us about 30 minutes to find which was well expected already. We finally arrive and drop off our bags, check in is not until 3pm so we did exploring and came back around 6:30. We get to our room and there is a FAMILY OF FOUR IN OUR ROOM. It took us about three hours to get this fxed. On the phone with someone (still don’t know his title) and he refused to come to this location because he was on duty. There is no front desk because this is NOT a hotel it is a residence. It was very nice don’t get me wrong but the service was absolutely horrible. I told the front door man (who was the only person who actually helped btw) what was going on and he called the owner and insisted she come down here. She did not but she sent the guy from the phone. He ended up giving us the maids room....... I’m sorry we paid $80 to stay in the maids room? It had trash all over it so he needed to clean it while we were in there. I would recommend this residence as the amenities were very nice. But stay at your own risk.

When we got there we had to wait ca 30 minutes for them to get hold of a key to the room, even though we checked in at around 4 pm.

The room wasn't very good cleaned and there were lots of mosquitoes in the room even though we were running the AC. The room was sub-equipped, it didn't even have coffee cups.

The remote for the television was missing and when trying to get hold of someone to help us get hold of a remote we experienced how difficult it was to get hold of someone from Anta Residence. You see the people who are operating the apartment building is different from Anta Residence. There is no reception desk for Anta customers.

We wrote to Anta on Facebook as advised by the welcome letter. They were really slow to respond and our service experience was terrible.

The building is really nice and in a good condition. The location is great and the gym is awesome.

Great place to stay

Absolutely loved the stay here. It’s a condo so it’s a little different than a hotel. The guards and hotel security are very helpful and nice. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to old city but it’s not a bad walk we enjoyed it. We rented a moped from the condo as well. Overall would definitely recommend staying here. Very nice and very good location.

This was a great place to stay. A little walk away from old city but the walk was a nice one each time. The guards are exceptionally nice and willing to help with anything you may ask. They gave us a motorcycle for a few hours to drive out to dinner and around town. Overall very happy staying in this condo and would definitely recommend it. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it wasn’t the worst thing ever.

Amazing, enjoyable stay

Highly recommend this hotel, esp if traveling with family. 2 bedrooms with living room, kitchenette, big fridge, washing machine ... very new and clean, and everything in good working condition. Has a pool & good size gym too. Price was good. Very convenient location, right next to Shangrila Hotel, within walking distance to supermarkets and Pavilion night market, restaurants, massage etc. Outside of \"Old Town\", which is the bustling heart of town, but not far from it.

Pros: nice condo, beautiful view, pool is wonderful, safe, well secured
Cons: smells like sewage, bed is harder than the floor (not atypical for chiang mai), minimal neccesities (1 toliet paper, no cups for coffee, no paper towels, no detergent for washer)

Communication was lacking. I tried to contact someone for tours and no one responded. Also, its called anta but it's inside Astra, which made it confusing for tours/taxi pick up. No one could find it.

Beautiful room for a good price

Was very pleased with the room. The service was good, the room was beautiful, the location was nice, and all for a very reasonable price. Stayed for 3 nights and tried to extend the stay but was already booked the next day. Only minor complaints were the awkward shower heating where it took a while to get hot and then one side of the shower faucet was burning hot, and then some of the doors in the hallways were confusing to open.

Highly recommend - close to night bizzare

Amazing apartment in a fabulous location. Difficult to find as it doesn't say that it is in the Astra Condominiums. The rooftop pool is awesome and the gym modern and well equipt. These are non serviced apartments but you can pay extra for a clean.
There is a kitchen with hob and a jug. Unfortunately no coffee cups, big plates or bowls.
Good free wifi. My only suggestion would be to improve the cheap linen as the apartment is so lovely and modern it's a shame to have synthetic sheets and uncomfortable pillows.

Ok place to stay in city, beware of bad bed

Ok location, clean room. Good instructions for check-in and check-out. No service / reception. The flat is clean, the common areas so so. The big bed is ok, but the smaller bed is the worst we have ever seen. Maybe start with buying a topper for the bed so that the person sleeping in the bed does not need to sleep straight on the springs.

Trangt - svært at få plads til kufferter. Lejlighed på 14. etage dog lidt mere rummelig.
Wifi virkede ikke ved ankomst. Derfor svært at få fat på nøgle. (Tak til \"Maloo Travel\" for god hjælp 😊)
Wifi på vær. også ustabil.
Møbler slidte, misfarvede og snavsede. Sofa vakkelvorn.
Sengetøj lugtede gammelt ved ankomst. Fjedre i madras generende - ingen topmadras. Soveværelse passede kun til enkeltseng - kunne kun gå sidelæns rundt om sengen og kun i ene side - den anden side skubbet helt op ad vinduet ! Ingen lys ved seng.
Køkken med støv og døde insekter på hylder og fedtfingre på skabslåger. Skabsindhold fedtet. Øverste gummiliste på køleskabslåge fyldt med tyk, sort fedt.
Afløb i bruseniche i A1204 totalt blokeret ved ankomst. Forsøgt udbedret dagen efter Fam. måtte tag bad hos os i A1203 indtil næste aften, hvor bademulighed blev tilbudt i anden lejlighed på gangen. Fik efter 2 nætter ny lejlighed på 14.etage.

God kommunikation med kontaktperson via mail, men ville klart foretrække en fysisk tilstedeværende ! Også da elektroniske døre til hele bygningen pludselig var ude af drift.

Fin beliggenhed. Dog noget støjende omgivelser. Dejligt med vaskemaskine og udendørs tørre mulighed.

令人唔勞氣都唔得嘅體驗呀！咁大間渡假村酒店接待櫃檯一啲都唔起眼！望到一個位置4/5都係房地產專櫃，作為旅客硬住頭皮去問，點知冇人答到我哋去邊度Check in，仲叫我哋揾返House Owner拎鎖匙，House Owner？業主喎？我揾到業主就咭洗揾櫃檯啦！當唔知點算好嘅時候，有另一組旅客拎出護照問，佢又肯幫佢Check in！咁我唔理咁多照拎護照叫佢整埋，原來鎖匙要自己去鎖匙箱㩒密碼自己拎，咁大堂指示可唔可清晰啲咁教下收唔到email教Check ih嘅旅客要點做呀？
入到房，嚇死呀，露台好多雀屎，牙膏牙刷棉花棒乜都冇，煮食用具甩哂青，唔敢用，泳池入唔到，泳池廣告相係隔離香格里拉江嘅泳地，被呃咗囉。

Otima localização, o apartamento é bem pequeno, mas muito lindo.
Apenas encontramos problemas com um cheiro no banheiro, mas a cidade toda tem um cheiro ruim.
Recomendo o apartamento. Piscina linda e limpa.

Location is convenient and close to night bazaar. However, towel would not be exchanged daily which it didn't mention when I book this accommodation. Also, it committed to daily throw away the garbage but it didn't at all. There is no front desk and only communicate through any email or apps but the response time isn't fast at all.

Rigtig god beliggenhed, og skønt med egen lejlighed. Vores var dog ret slidt, sengen meget hård og afløb gav en ret indelukket lugt. Poolen ikke opvarmet, ret kold - samt lille poolområde.

Ruim, modern appartement, goeie WiFi en zeer centraal ten opzichte van het centrum en de omliggende straten. Alles was prima beloopbaar, Chiang Mai was top.
Het zwembad is zeer klein, er is ruimte voor maximaal 5 bedjes. Wel mooi uitzicht.
