Yaangcome Village offers Lanna ( northern Thai ) atmosphere and elegance in its style and architecture. The resort gives out serenity and peaceful calmness inside which is in contrast to its bustling metropolitan surrounding. The location is convenient with Chiangmai Night Bazaar in walking distance. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The room is clean and the amenities are excellent.

We booked a family room. We got a nice pool view, a huge living room with two single beds and then the master bedroom. This is a quiet relaxing place. The staff is wonderful, always willing to help. It has a classic vibe, if you are looking for a modern place to stay look somewhere else. Food and drinks by the pool were great. Breakfast was included, good variety good taste. My only recommendation would be: stop charging extra for a cappuccino during breakfast. We pay enough to have that included.Overall: great location, fair price. Thumbs up!

The hotel looked nice, at first glance it was beautiful, staff welcoming and friendly, but I could not sleep because there was a peep hole directly center on top of the bed about a half an inch through the ceiling I took pictures and the light went all the way up. I missed the breakfast because of my lack of sleep, so decided to have lunch the staff was very friendly and accommodating but some of the food was not fresh, the pork in the rice felt days old or left overs. Overall it was a beautiful room although dated, defiy not worth what we paid for, would not stay here again.

Amazing location blocks from night market but it is tucked back away from the road in the gardens so it is a quiet, lovely setting. Rooms are large and very comfortable. The dining and pool are set perfectly and it was very relaxing. I would highly recommed and will stay again...

We stayed here to catch the elephant and muy thai events. The staff is friendly and the grounds are well cared for. The night bazaar is a 5 min walk. Lots of good food. There is a Michelin starred restaurant across the street that has amazing food. The restaurant at the hotel is good. Lots of other nice restaurants around the corner. Its a little oasis in the city.

This is our third stay here. Previously 2 weeks twice. This time 3 weeks. Yaang Come is beautiful in all ways. The Lanna style resort architecture is so pleasant and the landscape inside the resort is serene. But the greatest enjoyment is from all the Yaang Come staff; reception staff, restaurant staff, cleaning and grounds staff. They are all so nice, friendly, smiling, and welcoming, all the time. Yaang Come is very close to the centre of Yaang Come, and easy to get to by car. We'll be back again.

The rooms were pretty nice, there was an air conditioner as soon as I got there, I brought it to their attention, but they did nothing about it, but clean the filters, overtime. It got worse until it finally wasn’t working and they had to move to another room Which had much better air conditioning, but the bathroom window could not be closed so a lot of warmer kept coming in that way. It seemsthis place is more concerned about profit then people.!

Overall we were impressed with the property, our room, a simple but fine breakfast and the staff. Only negative is it would be brilliant if they could be flexible in terms of early and late checkin/out to accomodate our flights. Having flown from Dubai through the night and then transferred at Bangkok airport for Chiang Mai we arrived at the hotel, shattered, at about 11am and had to wait until 2pm for our room. Not a good start to our holiday. However, a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

When I first arrived, I noticed the air conditioner wasn’t working properly and I notified them. They sent a maintenance man to try to fix it, but he couldn’t do it, after repeated notices to them that they need a repair man. They ignored it and finally a couple days before my check out time they moved me to another room Which had a terrible view and there was hardly any hot water to take a shower with. It was just warm, and there was no way to close the bathroom window to keep the warm air from coming in. It seems their main concern is finances over customer care. I wouldn’t recommend staying there

The Yaang Come Village Hotel is a beautiful spot in the heart of Chiang Mai. Despite being close to everything in the city, they have done the gardens in such a way that it feels like a tranquil haven away from the city bustle. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff are incredibly accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and different every morning, and was set up under the beautiful trees and plants by the pool. Definitely recommend for a family or for a couple’s holiday in Chiang Mai which is what we did.

So this is an amazing property hidden away just outside of old town over on the east side of Chiang Mai. It is five minutes walking down to the night bizarre Street so you’re really close to a couple of the huge night markets. It’s maybe have 5 to 10 minute tuck tuck ride over to the Sunday night market. It is an absolutely beautiful property beautiful pool modern hotel that’s made to look like an older style Thai property so you get the best of all worlds. The staff is great. They can help set you up with anything you need as far as tours go and advice.

I really wanted to like this hotel, as it has all of the basics of a superb hotel. However, there were some little things that prevented this from being a true 5 star experience.

First, I will say the service from the staff was 10/10. They truly know how to provide for their guests.

However, there were some issues with the hotel room:

The sliding glass doors are not seal proof, and *everyone* at this hotel smokes. So every time a guest on either side of us stepped out to smoke on their balcony, it wafted into our bedroom. 1-2x would have been acceptable, but this was happening throughout the night, many times. Each time I’d wake up, the smoke activating my asthma. Not a great experience.

The shower was a bit bipolar, and did not consistently provide hot water after 1 minute of running. I’m not sure why - is there a hot water timer to prevent guests from using too much? Either way, it was a bit annoying having to show with cold water.

This is not an adult only hotel - keep in mind that there are some families with smaller kids. If that isn’t your vibe, make sure its noted.

There are also no outlets in the bathroom, which makes flat portioning hair a bit difficult.

An oasis just a 10 minute walk to bars, restaurants, or the SE corner of the ancient walled city. I had Suite S1. It was spacious, on the third floor (2nd floor in European counting). That is the top floor. There are no elevators. It has nice comfortable old Thai charm. A friend of mine objected because \"it looked dated\". I object to that strongly. It was traditional Thai furniture plus a sofa that looks like it has seen better days. The sofa was comfortable and long enough to lay on and watch TV. There were families that stayed here and the pool was active. I never saw a mosquito in the room. There were a few at the pool, but no worse than the rest of Chiang Mai in the rainy season. Hot water in the shower workerd, but was just average. I would definitely stay here again.

The customer service and hospitality is top notch. From the moment you arrive, youre welcomed with a cold towel and coconut watert o freshen up. The location is a few minutes walk to the night bizarre for some shopping and street food. The resort has separate villas that feel like you are in the middle of the jungle oasis even though youre steps away from many amenities. We stayed in a family adjoining room with 5 people. The rooms are spacious. The pool is beautiful and not crowded. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with a lot of options. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was revamped from old thai building. The deco and buildings are very traditional thai style. The location is good as it is very close to the nightmarket. However it is not too suitable if travel together with old people because there are too many stairs throughout the compound. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but we thought the hotel accommodations were in need of an update. The bathroom and bedroom were spacious but not as comfortable as we’d hoped for given all the positive reviews. For instance, they could really update the lighting and not have an overhead white light combined with ambient ones that do not illuminate well at night. And maybe install some charging sockets by the bed. Also it would be great to have less tired looking towels. Not only were some of them ripped they were also gray looking, not white. We liked the grounds and the overall ambience of the setting of the hotel. The breakfast was ok. Given amenities at some other hotels in Thailand we thought that this hotel was not as good in terms of value for the price.

Yaang Come Village is an oasis in Chiang Mai. This lovely small boutique hotel makes you feel as if you’re in a small village in the mountains. In reality your in the city of Chiang Mai..According to the owners, it was built to resemble a Lenna (ancient Kingdom of Thailand) Village with architecture, layout and landscaping.Although I wouldn’t not call it a luxury hotel, I would certainly call it a top notch boutique hotel. If you want, small, lovely, quiet and elegant all in one package come to YCV.

This property is amazing! The staff is very attentive and so nice. When we were coming back from dinner they were ready with our room keys. When it rained they had umbrellas waiting for us.
The location is walking distance to a few markets, wats, and restaurants/bars.
The pool was clean and relaxing!

Close to the night markets and excellent dining on the river, this hotel was lovely, quiet, and easy. The staff was adorably attentive and the salt water pool was the perfect place to take a break. We were there for several weeks and the clientele was pleasant. The location was a popular place to pick up transportation and day trips easily came to pick you up. The morning breakfast was simple but bountiful in fruits and veggies. It was delightful. Highly recommend.

Pros: The property is simply gorgeous. The walkways are lush and tastefully gardened, the pool is a dream and the rooms are full of small traditional Thai details. Perfect for unwinding and family vacations. Reception staff is quick to respond to any queries. Location is fantastic with almost everything at walking distance.
Cons: Almost no vegetarian breakfast options. Cleanliness needs improvement. The housekeeping staff come across as rude sometimes. Found a dead cockroach on the pillow sheet when we arrived and had to get it changed.

What a lovely little oasis in the middle of busy Chiangmai! Yaang Come Village was a quiet paradise to relax at, while still being within easy walking distance of the Night Market and restaurants. Our rooms were private and lovely, the pool was perfectly situated, and breakfast was delicious! Buffet style with made-to-order eggs. Breakfast offer is quite small and did not change at all during a 5 days stay. After the 2nd day we decided to have breakfast elsewhere for 200 THB. Complimentary coffee was really bad. Reasonable freshly prepared coffee (American ,capuchino) is 120 THB which is more than double compared to nice cafes everywhere in chiang mai.

Room base level: spacious, old style wooden furniture, quite dark because of the roof covering the balcony. Floors were swepped but not mopped.
Balcony almost unusuable because of the mosquitos. We kept the balcony door closed all the time and used insecticides to get rid of them inside.

NO sockets anywhere near the bed area. 3 sockets provided behind the 20\" TV which looks like computer monitor of the 90ies. Meaning all our mobile phones, computers, and children's iPad have to be charged there and can't be used in bed while charging.
As many other guests already mentioned the hot water is barely lukewarm and supply is low and unstable.
Towels are worn out and partially torn, and the shower curtain has mould stains.

On the positive side you'll find a quiet place with a beautiful garden.
Overall we were not satisfied with regards value for money (98 USD per night) and advertised 4 stars.

This hotel is unique. It is like an estate with many Buddhist style buildings and a pool in the middle. The rooms are large. The tv is tiny (but who watches tv in a hotel room these days). The facility is like a small resort in the middle of the city.

From the hotel you can walk to many cafe’s and restaurants. It is only a few minute walk to the night market and the main strips. It is such a convenient location.

I preferred staying at this style of hotel as opposed to the usual nearby large hotels. Makes it feel more like a vacation.

Breakfast is served at the hotel restaurant by the pool. Open air concept.

The pool is not huge but isn’t small either. It’s good enough to relax in the sun.

The furniture in the room was not new and modern but the style suits the decor of the entire hotel site.

The hotel offers the usual, bottle water, soaps and shampoos etc.

The only two negatives I could come up with was that the hot water was more like Luke warm water in the shower and there was no electrical sockets near the bed, so phones and devices had to be charged across the room on the desk.

I will stay here again for sure.

The property is located in a beautiful garden complex in the heart of Chang Mai. It's old world charm is fantastic. I absolutely loved my stay. Probably the most peaceful place I have stayed in years. I'm staying again on my way back through.

Charming and convenient; definitely recommend.

This place is super cute and charming! Really liked the style, feel, and ambiance—it felt very authentic and welcoming. Staff was friendly and breakfast was probably the best we had at the hotels we visited on this trip. Fairly convenient location for tour pickups and general exploring. Only critiques were that there were some ants in our bathroom (to be fair, it is a garden property and they did provide a spray to help) and the bed was a bit hard.

The hotel is lovely with traditional local style building and garden. It is quieter than expected giving location as it is set a little far in from local street. The breakfast is nice although choices are not extensive especially if you are vegetarian. The staffs are attentive and friendly.
One major complaint is about plumbing system for shower. It is not reliable. We could not adjust to get steady warm shower for the whole stay. The manager should try taking shower in the guest rooms.

Beautiful hotel & Friendly staff

Beautiful grounds, relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, and stellar service. I was very happy with my 2 night stay at Yaang Come village. It was a bit far to walk to the Sunday Night Market by myself, so I took a cab (~$4 USD), but otherwise close to restaurants and shopping.
