Wonderfully welcoming, very professional and helpful staff. We splurged on a suite as we were there for eight nights. It was worth it to have the extra space. The suite was very clean, nicely furnished with lovely linens, and quiet. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. Great location. Lots of restaurants in the neighborhood and stylish shopping. Metro stop two blocks away. Convenient walking distance to the Louvre Museum. Lovely hotel! We will return.

All of the staff at the reception desk were very professional, welcoming and eager to help with everything. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day. We were in a suite for 8 nights and were very comfortable. The rooms were nicely appointed and were very comfortable. We’ve always loved the 6th arrondisement, so the location was perfect. We enjoyed the breakfast on two occasions. It is pricey, but convenient, and nicely served. Otherwise, there are many other neighborhood cafes and bakeries for breakfast.

This hotel is in a wonderful location, especially for walking to the Louvre, Tuileries Garden, wonderful cafes, shops, etc. The rooms and restaurant/terrace area are impeccably maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in answering all questions (and arranging taxi pick up if needed). We highly recommend this hotel for the experience of a wonderful Paris neighborhood and outstanding service.

We just spent seven marvelous days at the Montalambert. We highly recommend you stay at this hotel on your next visit to Paris. I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. Starting with the front desk staff. They were always cordial, professional, helpful and always eager to help with anything you may need. The room was impeccably designed it’s very stylish without being stuffy or pretentious. The marble clad bathroom is very luxurious and tastefully done. The cleanliness is superb. And let me tell you, that I am a stickler for cleanliness. The turn down service was a plus with incredible attention to detail. Every evening they left a complementary bottle of water on each nightstand. I have read the complaints about the size of the rooms. All I have to say is that whoever wrote them is not familiar with European sizes and proportions. Yes, the room and bathroom are small, but everything in Paris is small. What’s important is that it’s an old (probably centuries old) building that’s has been completely remodeled. It’s not McDonald’s. Don’t expect supersize.

Phenomenal location in St. Germain, with shops and restaurants just steps away. 15 min walk to d'Orsay, 20 min to the Louvre. Quiet safe area.

The room size. I know European rooms tend to be smaller, but this felt like a tiny dorm room. Even the door to the bathroom slid across to save room. I felt a bit claustrophobic, honestly, especially for a room I spent good money for.
No real lobby. There's a restaurant that appears to be a lobby, but no real area for hanging out.
Bottom line: Pay less for elsewhere. Look for a hotel with bigger rooms and just Uber to wherever. Not worth the money, given construction, constant door slamming and tiny rooms.

We had a suite that cost $400 a day for seven days
One evening my wife woke up in the middle of the night and threw up on the floor next to the bed. She cleaned it up, but the next afternoon the asst desk manager refused to let us back into our room. The Hotel wanted us to pay $800.00 to sanitize the carpet in the whole suite.
