This was an extension of my first stay. I ended feeling so comfortable in the hotel and neighborhood that i stayed on instead of switching to the next location. Its an older building so rough around the edges and the elevator sometimes acts up but the staff is all very helpful and friendly and other than the tiny ants that sometimes show up (only in bathroom) everthing is very clean. Convenient to several 711 and currency exchange qnd markets and a few temples as well as many cafes are in easy walking distances. Definitely staying here again next year.

I originally only booked for a few days I was gonna bounce around and try other locations but ended extending my stay with another booking. A few points yes it is an older building and so you're gonna run into a few things the only cleanliness issue I had was ants in the bathroom at 1 point which they addressed right away and elevator acted up at 1 point and they fixed it right away. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful And in my case very patient with my attempts at Thai but spoke english more than well enough for me. Its in a convenient location there is a small 711 across the street a larger 1 just 3 minutes walk down the street as well as a currency exchange multiple places to eat and shop all within walking distance and anything not walkable you can just take a grab which are so easy to use. Yes the mattresses are very firm but I was expecting that since that is just how they are here and find them very comfortable so anybody that's complaining didn't research. The showers run nice and hot and ac works perfectly. Best part is there is a wonderful little salon just off of the drive up into the parking lot Star is amazing and took such good care of me and have great suggestions for local places to eat or shop. What was really nice is that it wasn't loud even though there At 1 point it got really busy due to a holiday. I'm already planning on again for next year. Bottom line it looks a little rough on the edges in some areas but everything is clean & comfy.

The hotel was fine, but the neighborhood consisted of many girlie bars and massage parlors all asking if you want a \"happy ending.\" Not a family-friendly area.

Remember that you are booking a room in a red light district. Be careful about the hot water in bathroom… It might burn your body or you will get cold water when you’re expecting hot. Bathtub outstanding shower was not up to standard. Bed and bedsheet were nice and staff was courteous.

The price of the hotel is very cheap which is great but you get what you pay for.

Internet connection on floor 5 isn’t always stable so makes streaming or watching online hard.

Interior is old, doesn’t look like Expedia photos.

Would stay again since the price is very low.

Sorry but this was not accommodation place for humans..the worst place that I ever been dirty full of insects (huge cockroaches) and no sound proof some windows was open..!really bad experience not worth not even one baht and we report at the hotel but didn’t refund me back my money then the result was to go to airport and sleep there.better for sure of this place...I highly recommended to avoid this place...

I dont spend much time in the room just sleeping there and a couple of hours on the internet in the morning then out all day so dont need anything fancy or luxurious; and for that you cant beat the price. I would upgrade to AC on my next visit as the weather was hotter than last year.

The room was crappy and old. Looks like noone never cleaned it especially the bathroom but the price is very cheap and it is on the nice location. So, if you wouldn't mind, it should be fine. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Less than basic hotel, room in hostel better.

First day there, not good. Room smelled, A/C not working, all water cold. Area of hotel I know what to expect, so ok. After I complained of room, my stay was ok. But will never return. WI/FI not good, television no reception, so never used. Could be a great hotel, staff very good, but owner/management need to improve.

Good and Friendly Budget Hotel

We have used this Hotel on 2 previous occasions so know it reasonably well. Is in the very heart of Bars, Markets and very near Old City
Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are very basic and in need of refreshing but you get what you pay for so we were happy enough

Convenient one night stopover.

All I wanted was a place to kip for the night. It was less expensive to stay here than pay the taxi fare to our better accommodation way up in the hills.
Staying allowed us to enjoy the night markets and other entertainment on offer.

Great value and best location in town

Rooms are a bit dated, but good hot shower, air condition, refridgerator and comfortable bed. Even had a couple of English channels on TV. Very friendly staff. Easy access elevator. Very, very convenient location. Close to night bazaar, Thae Pae Gate and right on Loi Khroh, where all the bars and nightlife are. We were very happy staying here again

god for the price and not to mention the location. not very clean but wont call it dirty either. if all you desire is a place just to sleep or keep your luggage safe this is the place. night bazaar is on walking distance , thape gate is literally 2 minutes of walk. overall I wouldnt mind staying here again as long as I am alone haha. the only thing that sucks is the water heater doesnt really works so if you are into taking cold showers, you'll be fine .

Cheap and cheerful

Clean sheets but the bathroom was a bit grotty. The shower was a bit low so you had to hold it to wash your hair. You get what you pay for. Good enough to use as a base but don't expect to be wowed by the place.

Good location for single senior males

Problem with first room (standing bathroom floor water) and was changed to similar basic room. No tv or fridge and no amenities but if you want to be in the heart of what action is to be had in CM at lowest possible cost this is a decent choice.

Disgrace!!!!

I realise that this is budget accommadation so I shouldnt expect too much,having said that this is the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune of spending time in.The staff are rude and unaccommodating,arguing with us over the smallest of fees and unwilling to give us the room we had originally booked and payed for.The rooms were dirty,dingy, and unbearably hot with stained walls, sheets, towels, and windows.The location is good but after here we found a much better spot for cheaper.Do not stay here unless you absolutely have to or failing that consider a night on the street,your comfort would not be affected.

So much difference

I got a room with fan but it was very noisy all day and night.
So I requested to chenge to another room, but very expensive between original contract and up grade.
Finally the staff suggested me to chenge the room by reasonable extra because the room air conditioner is out of order.
I agrred it, because I orefer without air conditioner to a fan.

The room is comfortable enough to sleep in but it must have seen better days. The elevator is old, a bit slow, but works fine so no issues. The most disappointing was the kitchen part. It was not functioning at all. Tables and chairs were set-up but only for guests to eat their take-out food. My booking did not include breakfast but I inquired where the kitchen was so I can order coffee while waiting for the room. They said no kitchen so I had to order coffee from a shop in front of the inn. Dining area became a holding point for washers which might have come from what used to be its kitchen. What used to be the souvenir shop became a stock room for food ingredients probably for hotel staff. Not a deal breaker but it is an eye sore as guests see this part of the hotel on their way to elevator and dining area.

You stay what you paid

Please don't book it until you see the room.
I made a huge mistake that I booked three days in advance. First day I arrived I was astonished how this place is called as a hotel. It's not a hotel at all. And if you choose room without air conditioner which is cheaper one, wifi is not for free, which was upsetting me and my next room neighbors.
Also you couldn't sleep until the bar of first floor close around 2 am.

Great location with just 2 minst to the night bazzar. But the room condition, especially the rest room is horrible. And the service is really bad as the staff is rude. Beside, the free wifi is only valid in 3 hours, hence, you have to take time to walk to the reception for the new wifi, not comfortable at all.

Don't stay here

The cheap rooms are not very good. They're located in the back building where prostitutes come in and out to visit clients. The lower cost rooms are also in a building that smells like cigarettes. Add on top of that wifi didn't work.

For the same price and even less you can get a better place.

For a cheap hotel, the facilities were more than adequate. Good size room, decent aircon. and good storage space. Good hot water in the shower. Rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast was available, but you would do better walking down the street to one of the many cafes nearby. Decent taxi service available at reasonable cost.

Nice budget hotel near Tha Phae Gate

I booked a private room with fan on expedia but upgraded to a private room with ac. I paid 499thb in May 2014. For the price it was totally worth it even though it is a little dated.

I woke up late for my flight and almost missed it, if the hotel didn't have their own taxi service and if the taxi didn't drive as fast; I would have definitely missed my flight. The staff were very helpful. They help direct my friend and I to many places of interest.

Wir waren schockiert beim Anblick unseres Zimmers. Hat leider wenig mit den Zimmern auf den Bildern gemeinsam. Außerdem hat unser Zimmer zur Wand des Nebengebäudes geguckt, sodass es im Zimmer sehr dunkel war und man kein Tageslicht hatte. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren groß und die Sauberkeit war okay. Die Mitarbeiter waren uns sehr behilflich bei Fragen und haben uns einen Roller zum Mieten besorgt.

Völlig verdrecktes Zimmer, überall waren Haare, auf der Toilettenbrille war noch Urin von vorherigen Gästen, Tisch völlig verklebt. Als wir dem Hotelpersonal von dem Zustand des Zimmer berichteten kam weder eine Entschuldigung noch ein Angebot für ein anderes Zimmer. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns ein Zimmer gegen Aufpreis (fast der doppelte Preis) angeboten. Absolute Frechheit. Wir sind nicht geblieben.

Alles in allem hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt im Traveller Inn. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat uns das Gepäck aufs Zimmer gebracht. Zimmer werden täglich gemacht und Wasser bereitgestellt. Das Zimmer war eigentlich sauber, das Bad war eher oberflächlich gereinigt. Am Abreisetag konnten wir das Gepäck im Hotel einstellen. Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen, da Preis/Leistung gestimmt hat.

Leider war der Aufzug nicht in Betrieb und es war sehr beschwerlich die hohen Stufen in den 3. Floor zu bewältigen. Zum Glück konnten wir unsere Koffer in der Kofferaufbewahrung des Hotels abstellen.
Sehr gut war die Lage: 10 Minuten Fussweg zur Altstadt + 10 Minuten zu Fuss in die andere Richtung zum Nachtmarkt. Allerdings hatte das Hotel keinen Stadtplan !!!

私のチェンマイでの定宿だが、今回泊まった3階の部屋はシャワーがダメでした。
お湯どころか水もチョロチョロとしか出ない。設備が古いので仕方ないと諦めて
いますが、部屋によってハズレもあるのでご注意を。部屋自体は清潔だし、静かなので
私的には満足です。

部屋によっては騒音に注意

格安で泊まりましたが、東南アジアですので値段相応です。
2種類のホテル棟があり、チェックインした棟のエレベーター付きの部屋は比較的良さそうですが、自分が宿泊した部屋は一度ホテルから出て外から入る階段のみの場所で、窓がなく騒音が凄すぎてなかなか寝つけませんでした。シャワーを浴びても便器にかかり、扉は木製で腐っていてボロボロ足元を流れてきます。
ただあくまでも格安の部屋ですので、スタンダードの部屋さえ予約すれば普通の部屋ですので予約の際は気をつけて下さい。

Strassenlärm im Zimmer

Wir haten für 1 Nacht gebucht. Es wurrden uns 2 Zimmer zur Auswahl gestellt. Beide waren zur Strassenseite. Die Fenster konten nicht geschlossen werden.
Das Mobilar war alt und abgewohht. Das Badezimmer dreckig und voller Ameisen.

hyvällä paikalla vanhankaupungin ja yöbasaarin välimaastossa. kiva henkilökunta, mm soittivat perään kun huoneeseen oli unohtunut jotain tavaroita. siivosivat hyvin. 7eleven kadun toisella puolella. terassi kahvilassa hyvä aamupala, hyviä juomia ja erittäin mukava myyjä.
