The hotel gives 4 bottles of water, which was perfect for the humid weather, however.,, the homey room is very small and no closet, and the bathroom is tight as well, you have to walk side way to the toilet. Overall, it’s a nice comfortable room.

This was a good value place that is located on the outskirts of the square you wanna stay in Chiang Mai. Walkable to everything but you will walk, plenty of bikes and Tuk Tuks for cheap though. Limited menu and front desk staff was not as friendly as I would have liked. Maybe English barrier was an issue. Guests were allowed and it was clean with a balcony. Toilet is super close to wall so be ready and the shower was nice with the overhead spout like rain. Good value and location not too bad either because of easy transportation and cheap.

This could be a very nice hotel, but a few key flaws ruin the experience. For starters, our bathroom was infested with ants. The whole floor would get covered with them every day and any item we left in the bathroom would get covered with ants. When the crude wooden cover blocking the area under the sink fell down one day, there was a literal pile of dead ants 6 inches tall. The front of the toilet is also right up against the wall with no space for your legs, so to use the toilet you have to sit sideways in a very awkward position. It is very loud all day and all night both inside and outside the property. You can hear other guests walking through the hallways or moving around their room. You can also hear every single motorcycle, car, cat, dog, person outside as if a window was wide open. The listing stated that the curtains were blackout curtains, but there might as well not have been any curtains because they let in so much light. If you are a light sensitive sleeper, you will be woken up every day right at sunrise. Every time you walk through the lobby, which is required to enter or exit the property, the person sitting behind the desk stares at you judging the entire time you are walking through which is very awkward. And the cherry on top, this is the first hotel in the world that has ever charged us for a broken cup. You would thing they would budget for breakage and maintenance like every other hotel in the world. On the plus side the shower was very nice.

I recently stayed for six nights. The hotel is in a good location up a small soi and inside the moat, making walking to my favorite restaurants and jazz/blues clubs very doable. The staff was very helpful, even recommending a great khao soy restaurant. I visit Chiang Mai regularly, usually with my wife, and I would stay here again.

Good location in a quiet street in the old town. We booked triple room but the third bed was very hard so sleeping on it was not very pleasant. We only stayed two nights so we did not mind too much but for longer stays we would like a different bed. We did not try breakfast as both mornings we had a very early start of the day for a trip and airport. Shower was very good and hot. There is a kettle in the room and we were provided with 3in1 coffee bags.

The hotel is down a small alley and doesn't suffer from traffic noise. That being said, 'nature' may wake you up with the sound of the rooster or the dogs nearby, if that bothers you. Apart from that, the hotel is awesome! The room was quite large and I had a balcony where I could look out over the nearby temple. There's also restaurants nearby. The hotel's breakfast was really good and the friendly and welcoming staff would try to help in every way they could. Enjoyed my stay very much.

Nice little botique hotel tucked away in a quiet laneway in old town Chiang Mai.
Loved:
* A-la-carte breakfast included (incl. Western and Thai options)
* Friendly staff - made us feel welcome
* Great location
* Decent sized room with a nice little balcony

Some opportunities for improvement:
* Pool was a little on the cool side - maybe consider some heating?
* Espresso coffee would be nice, but not a deal breaker since there's several cafes located nearby.

The experience was very disappointing. The room is not very clean, we saw ants around the bed tables. The appliances are not the same between the rooms. Worse, our room was not cleaned up and made on one night, the maid forgot. Finally, the breakfast was not good and very basic.

Good location, easy to get to from the airport, and walkable neighborhood. The breakfast was good and the service was prompt. The room was loud since we faced the street and there was very little to no sound-proofing. Roosters at 4 am and cats throughout the night. The room was a good size and the water was hot. Having a mini-fridge was handy. I was charged 350 Baht for a towel they obviously had not even attempted to clean so for that and the incredibly hard mattress, we will stay elsewhere next time and did so for our other days in Chiang Mai.

Resort feel hotel in a historic old town.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rendevous Classic House. We were able to check into our rooms when we arrived at 7:50am. And on top of that, our room and our friend’s room were upgraded to balcony suites, free of charge. This quaint and charming hotel really gives you a resort feel, yet you’re steps away from all the action of Old Town. The staff have been accommodating, professional and extremely warm from the beginning until the end. You can tell it was a family owned business and the vibe they gave to us, guests, were as if we were family. That’s priceless. You just can’t beat that. The breakfasts provided were also delicious, beautifully presented and bountiful. We would highly recommend Rendezvous Classic House to anyone and everyone. We would come back in a heartbeat even if it’s doubled in price. Don’t miss this charming hidden gem!

Great little hotel, great location in old town. You can pretty much walk anywhere from here. The Sunday market is really close by, laundry mat just steps away and very well priced.
Breakfast is great, you have some nice options and you won’t be hungry afterwards trust me! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, we got upgraded for free which was a very nice surprise, thank you!

This hotel is okay for a short stay. Elevator is a huge plus, so you don`t need to carry your luggage upstairs. Swimming pool is very clean and never crowded, though the water is ice cold. Location is great, there is a 24/7 laundry shop nearby, lots of small local restaurants, eateries, 7/11 is 5 mins walk. Room is spacious enough.

Room is generally quite clean, even though some color stains on the bed sheets can be spotted. Shower pressure is very weak. I was not given any towels on the day of arrival, so the lady at the reception had to carry them from a different room. She attempted to press the button at the elevator using the towel she was carrying to my room. Do I need to say that its just not hygienic? Also, toilet is so close to the wall that your knees literally hit the wall when you sit on it.

It`s alright for a short stay, but I would`t stay there again.

I visited Thailand for the first time last November and this place in Chiang Mai was pretty cool! I've never stayed in a smaller B&B style place until this. It met all of my expectations and the staff was very helpful! I also loved the feel of it and it's location. It's pretty close to one of the night street markets, very cool! A lot of fun places to walk around nearby and really allowed us to get a true feel for the local Chiang Mai culture rather than a tourist hot spot! HUGE thank you to all of the staff!!

The service and breakfast were good, the room size and actual appearance of the hotel are nothing like the pictures, the room is tiny and the bathroom so small your knees hit the wall in front of it when you sit down. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner but to there credit there was no mound as I see in so many other places. The giant shower head and constant flow and temperature of the water was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would stay again but not as a first choice, the cramped room size was the deal breaker for me.

The service I received from everyone who was working at the guesthouse was attentive, polite, and lots of smiles all round! If you are staying for more than 2 nights, try to order different stuff from the breakfast menu. They all taste great :) From the guesthouse, take a left to Samlan rd soi 7, and at the main Samlan rd, turn to your right, there is a massage shop called Chiang Mai Thai Massage. Ask for Nee. She gives a really good massage.

A Solid Family Run Boutique Hotel

A very nice family run boutique hotel on the southern edge of the old city. I asked for a quiet room on the highest floor in my booking, and I was given exactly what I asked for. Also, we needed to store our bags for a whole week while traveling around the North on a motorbike. They accommodated us without fuss or hassle and we found our bags one week later exactly as we left them. This is a great find for a reasonably priced hotel in Chiang Mai during high season. Thank you for being so kind and welcoming.

Good value hotel. The rooms are quite small, but relatively clean. We did, however, have an issue with these tiny ants all over our room and bed (we never brought a speck of food into the room). There were also several spiders in the bathroom, though harmless. The front desk staff were pleasant to deal with. Breakfast was good with several options. Location was good, though in a quieter part of the old city. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. WiFi started off great our first day, but stopped working (or barely worked) after our first day and for the rest of our stay.

We stayed there for 4 nights and we enjoyed it. The hotel is located in the old city-which is close to the night market. ( 15 minutes walk). The room was clean, they provide a bottle of water daily and the staffed are kind. They provide laundry service which can be useful from time to time.

I went to book some tours at one place and they said they needed two people to book. So I booked through the hotel and the lady was lovely. she booked my 3 tours easily and at a good rate. While it was close to the edge of old Chaing Mai, i did not find much around. The Sunday night markets where close by, about 10-15 minute walk and worth it. The Saturday night markets in the opposite dirrection was so big. I prefered the Saturday markets but I would say get there early as later it gets very busy. When you think you are near the end, there is a side alley and more markets. I really enjoyed that. Not far from a major shopping center but no food or drinks real close by.

Clean, pretty and very friendly.

The owners picked us up from the airport for free, let us check in early (joyous after 15 hours travelling) at no cost and were super friendly and polite the whole time. The staff there are exceptionally kind.

Lovely little quiet hotel

Lovely stay here during songkran. Very quiet place to escape to after the madness and fun of Songkran! Very helpful staff, very friendly. Good location as well. Easy to get to all the old town. We had 4am taxi to the airport so the 24hr reception was handy. Good breakfast. Gorgeous little pool and a clean room. Thumbs up!
